Great Kihea Location!

Great location, great complex with pools, right across street from wonderful beaches (Kameola I, I, and III). Comfortable and clean. What you see is what you get. Had a wonderful trip!

4 Weeks in Paradise

This was our 6th time vacationing on Maui, We always find the Kihei area relaxing and family friendly. We have stayed at I-119 on a previous visit. The ocean view was very relaxing while eating our meals or just enjoying the view. Since the unit had been sold to a new owner, the unit has been updated and has a fresh and bright look and I understand more updates are in the works. The pictures of the unit are "what you see is what you're get." Upon our arrival, there was an issue with tiny ants in the kitchen and baths. However, one call to Nina and the matter was quickly addressed and taken care of and the owner was very gracious by buying us dinner for the inconvenience. If this unit is available during our next stay, we will have no hesitation in booking it. Mahalo, from Wisconsin.

Nice and private complex

End unit had an ant problem on several occasions. Top of kitchen cabinets has not been cleaned since new owners took possession. Unit needs more upgrades. Screen door to lanai needs to be replaced. Cushions on chairs around glass table are poor quality. Kitchen utensils need to be checked. Unit location is great. Newly installed blinds will create problems and won't last long. Daily rental cost increase of $ 80.00 plus booking fee of $ 399.00 is too steep for us to consider re booking for next year unless a better rental agreement can be renegotiated. We have rented the unit for the past eight years. My wife and I think highly of Maui Kamaole total property complex. It is inviting. Bill & Doris Mulder

This was a reservation booked by the previous owner. Unfortunately, we were not surprised by this review as the guests were unhappy from the beginning starting with the sale of the property and transition of the reservation. The new owner was kind enough to honor their reservation and their low rate, however they had unreasonable expectations that we were not able to meet. This guest did not mention ants or lack of cleanliness nor has there been any complaint from other guests, prior or since. We will not be renting to this guest in the future and would not recommend them to others.

Great property, great location and resort

Great property and great manager. We loved the view, the facilities, the pool temperature! And the property was well supplied, just enough for our 10 day stay. Everything was in working order. The laid back style of the furniture suits vacation mood. We liked the wooden floors. The kitchen and en suite bathroom could be renovated but they were perfectly good for our needs. Overall, a winner.

Our fourth stay in this end unit with extra light.

Well appointed and comfortable unit. Responsive management. Recent upgrades appreciated. Needs a new fridge as the current one is very loud.
