Ideally located in the main street of the historic center of Villeneuve-Les-Avignon, this fully restored charming cottage is ideal for holidays or a weekend in Provence.

With its breathtaking view of Fort Saint André, this completely renovated accommodation consists of a bedroom area equipped with a 160 cm bed as well as a living area consisting of a large corner sofa and a space office. You will also find a separate toilet and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.

On the ground floor, you can enjoy a private courtyard in the shade of its large stone walls to relax or have breakfast.
A fully equipped summer kitchen is also available.


All the equipment is modern and comfortable: air conditioning, wifi ...

Tea and coffee are available in the room!

According to your reservations a small cleaning is offered to you during your Stay

Un superbe séjour dans cette belle région. Le logement est atypique et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons également bénéficié des excellents conseils des propriétaires. On n’a qu’une seule envie … séjourner à nouveau quelques jours.

COULDN'T POSSIBLY BE BETTER!!

Cathérine and her husband are the most gracious hosts imaginable!! It began when Cathérine offered to pick me up from the train station. I declined, so she greeted me at the house with a jar of home-made apricot preserves. When my house was cleaned, they left things for me like fresh tomatoes from their garden, or a jar of home-made strawberry preserves . There wasn't a thing that I requested that they didn't provide -- and always with a warm smile. These are down-to-earth, genuinely warm people who really love people and yet they were NEVER around unless I asked them to be. The house itself is so charming and comfortable and COMPLETELY private. The bedroom/living room is air conditioned which made an enormous difference, as I was there during the month of July. Every detail has been thought of from a bath-robe and slippers to a coffee/tea service in the bathroom, in case you don't want to go downstairs to the kitchen. The location also couldn't be better. There is a grocery store, a laundromat, an excellent butcher, a green-grocer and excellent restaurants and bars all within a block. AND, right next door is an outstanding bakery!! I could go on and on about how much I love this place and these people. Suffice it to say that I NEVER give 5 stars out of 5, but this time I simply have nothing but praise and gratitude!!

Wonderful stay in a historical town

Catherine has created a wonderful and comfortable place just across the Rhône river from Avignon on a quiet street in Villeneuve-les-Avignon. It is a lovely walk over the bridge to Avignon or a quick walk to the bus stop to take the bus into Avignon. Catherine was the most perfect host and I plan to stay here again on my next visit in the area.

Beautifully decorated and well equipped place to stay near Avignon

Catherine has created a wonderful place to stay near Avignon. Villeneuve-les-Avignon is a lovely area with lots of stores, restaurants and historical places. It is a short ride on public transit to Avignon itself. There is free parking located nearby. The flat is beautifully decorated and well equipped. It does have a bit of any unusual arrangement with the kitchen beside an interior courtyard on the ground floor and the bedroom, sitting area and bathroom located up on the second floor. Other than having to climb lots of stairs (good exercise), the arrangement works well as the weather was good and the courtyard was a lovely place to sit and eat. The upstairs room is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Catherine is a friendly and helpful host and I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Wonderful!

Catherine’s home is perfect. Situated on a quiet street, her home makes you feel like you just stepped into the book “a year in Provence”. Walking in the door, you will find a quiet patio all to yourself that is off of the kitchen. Up the stairs to your room, it feels like a studio it’s so roomy- but the entire home is yours. Above all, Catherine is an French angel in every way. She offered to pick us up at the train station, gave us a full walkthrough of her home and even had fresh preserves waiting on us in the kitchen. We can’t wait to stay here again soon!

Beautiful old property with a modern feel.

We had a lovely welcome to the property, we're showed around and even offered a walking tour of the village. The property itself is very central, above a fantastic boulangerie, and a few steps away from the most amazing gelateria - what's not to like!! The kitchen had everything we needed for our two night stay, and the bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We really loved our time there, and was perfect for a couple or single traveller. The village itself is simply lovely - some great places to eat and plenty of parking in and around the village. Highly recommended.

Very nice apartment. Close to everything.

The location was excellent. You are right next door to an amazing bakery. 2 minutes walk to restaurants and cafes. We even walked to Port d’Avignon which is about 30 minutes. It’s a great location close to Avignon yet away from the noise and the crowd of Avignon. The place is charming with a beautiful court yard. And the host Kathryn is super nice.

Nous avons passé 3 jours splendides à Villeneuve lez Avignon. Blues au depart.

Catherine et son mari nous ont accueillis chaleureusement à la gare routière d’Avignon. Nous avons beaucoup apprecié leur sens de service. L’appartement est très beau, calme et propre. L’amenagement demontre beaucoup de goût. Le comfort est garantie. J’espère de pouvour retourner très vite à la Bastide !

A lovely place!

Catherine remodeled and furnished this place as if it were her own home. Every detail is aesthetically pleasing, and she has thought of everything. Every part of this place is perfect, comfortable, well supplied. She has provided everything a traveler needs, and then some. She was kind enough to pick us up and take us back to the train station, and it's clear that she really is dedicated to having travelers enjoy this lovely place she so thoughtfully arranged.

Lovely Stay in Avignon

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at Catherine's apartment in Avignon! It was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed for our stay and we loved it so much we extended our visit. Bakery, restaurants, grocery, laundry and wine is within a few steps of the apartment and we just enjoyed the kitchen and patio area for our morning and afternoon coffee-wine. Catherine is most gracious and helpful. I highly recommend Catherine's place if Avignon is on your travel plans.

Ideal location, beautiful studio

This is a lovely studio which has been decorated and equipped very tastefully and to a high standard. As well as wifi and air on the kitchen is well equipped and comes with a dishwasher. Lovely courtyard for eating or relaxing. It's is located in the middle of the old village with a lovely patissierv/ Boulanger next door, butcher and small supermarket and restaurants close by. Despite this it's very quiet at night. Village has market ( Thursday's , brocante (Saturday) and lots to see and do. 5 minutes from Avignon, also ideal if you don't want to hire a car as we got about fine on public transport Catherine the owner was lowly and very helpful and kind. Since the studio is on the third floor there are a number of stairs but not unduly steep so unless you have mobility issues not a problem. No issue with recommending this as a lovely place for couples to enjoy and Provence itself is a joy.
