Spacious home with great amenities and close to skiing - pool, hot tub, whitefish lake access

This 4 bedroom home in Ptarmigan has been completely remodeled in the fall of 2018 and has many incredible upgrades including a brand new kitchen with cabinets, granite counters and appliances. All new lighting, flooring throughout, doors, trim, and an inviting natural stone gas fireplace were installed as well. The furniture, tv's , bedding and towels are all brand new. The condo itself sleeps 8 comfortably and is perfect for your Whitefish vacation. The main level living area has an open concept flow with the kitchen , living area and dining all open together. There is a large bedroom with queen bed upstairs as well as a bunk room. The bunk room has no closet. The upstairs bathroom has a tiled shower and double sinks. The lower level has two spacious bedrooms (one king and one queen), a full bathroom and the laundry area. Mr. Coffee Style maker and a crockpot in the kitchen.There is a single car garage and a large deck for relaxing after a long day in Glacier or on the slopes. The home is located in ptarmigan village community that is perfectly located right between downtown Whitefish and the Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area. Ptarmigan amenities include: indoor/outdoor pools and an outdoor hot tub which are a short drive from this home, whitefish lake beach access (5 miles away) , tennis courts, fishing pond and hiking trails. Air conditioning is installed in the upper level.

Ptarmigan Village is only 25 minutes from Glacier International Airport, 5 minutes from the Amtrak Station and downtown Whitefish, 3 minutes from Whitefish Ski and Summer Resort and less than an hour from the west entrance to Glacier National Park.

Nice cabin. Perfect for a large family with kids. Very quiet resort community. You can't beat the resort amenities. Indoor/outdoor pools. Huge hot tub. Sauna. My kids had a blast.My only complaints are that the master bedroom bed was pretty worn out and I wish there had been a fire pit area.

Ski vacation

Loved staying at this condo! It was close to the ski mountain and to town. It was just the right size for our family and the updated bathrooms and kitchen were nice. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous big house

This well equipped house is in a perfect quiet location for using the mountain lifts for hiking or visiting Whitefish for some water sports. With four bedrooms and a large living space and kitchen, it was a pleasure to stay here.

Great stay

This was a great property! Just a little ways off the main road up to the mountain. Plenty of space for two active kids. The pool and hot tub were just a short drive from the house which was a hit for everyone, especially the kiddos. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The property managers were great with checking in throughout the stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great stay!

The house was great, well kept with nice kitchen, bathrooms and beds. Owners were great at communicating via e-mail. The only things to mention regarding the property is the view. It is in a nice area.but located across the street from a storage lot and the office. We did however get to see a few deer in the trees next to the house. Also, just to note, the highway is currently under construction. This delay is about 10 minutes- not the owners fault at all- just something to know. Great overall visit!

Great getaway location...but not quite what it seemed on the ad.

We did enjoy our Easter getaway. The house was beautiful and clean, and the area was nice. Maybe we didnā€™t look closely enough at the details when my wife and I made our reservations, but we were both under the impression that the house had a pool and hot tub. That was one of our main reasons for booking the property. While staying at the property does give you access to the community pool and hot tub, it isnā€™t really within walking distance. Other than that we have no complaints about the property. It was a great getaway at a nice quiet location!

Family fun!

Loved staying at this property! The house was so clean and inviting when we arrived. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. Property was super easy to get to, super close to the base at whitefish mountain. Awesome sitting out on the deck and watching some wildlife stroll through the community. Access to whitefish lake was awesome. Great place for the kids to swim and fish off the docks. Only a short 40 min drive to Glacier west entrance. Property manager was so easy to work with and a great communicator! You will love staying here. We had 7 family members on this trip in the house and it was plenty big enough for all of us. Do not pass this one up!

A wonderful visit with Grandchildren

First off we messed up as I booked the trip, and my wife usually does the booking. I accidentally booked 3 nights instead of 4 and owners handled it very graciously and charged us for the extra night without getting angry. This house comes with community amenities that were wonderful at tiring out the grandkids. We went to the pool everyday, used the wonderful hot tub, and met really nice people. We also took the grandkids sledding on a few hills in the neighborhood. The house was well stocked with everything we needed plenty of dishes, soap, laundry soap etc. One of our favorite stays anywhere and we'll gladly. return if the owners don't decide we're flakes for getting the booking wrong initially.

No frills Cabin retreat in Whitefish, MT

The house met all of our needs, but we were disappointed by the fact that only ONE shower could occur at a time --with 6 people in the house, that took some logistical planning. With two bathrooms, it would be reasonable to assume two showers could occur simultaneously. The CO2 detector went off mysteriously one evening, for no apparent reason, which was annoying. And finally, the railing on the porch was EXTREMELY rickety, a complete safety hazard, which the property management never acknowledged when brought to their attention.

Thanksgiving at Montana

We really loved the location of the property. It was at the entrance of Ptarmigan Village. The house was large and very much accommodated our family of seven. However, there were a few things that could have been improved. We arrived late and there were seven of us, but only 5 wash cloths in the entire house. I had to contact the manager to get more the next day. We were only given 4 more, so we had to wash them everyday. The coffee pot was not clean. The oven had not been cleaned. The light fixtures in the house and the centerpiece in the sitting area had spider webs on them. Overall, we did enjoy our stay.

Perfect for soccer weekend

The place for our 2 families perfectly! We even hosted another family for dinner one night. The hot tub was great for the kids tired soccer legs!! We loved being out of town because Whitefish is crazy busy these days! So nice to be in the quiet woods with minimal traffic. Oh, and hats off to the cleaning crew!! Incredibly clean and organized with a decently stocked kitchen for cooking.

Nice quiet getaway

The "cabin" was very comfortable and the Ptarmigan area very quiet. We did use the pool/hot tub facilities and it was very clean and uncrowded - we were the only ones there. Overall the cabin and facilities were as advertised and it was a great stay. Definitely would stay there again and would recommend it to others
