About Ponce de Leon Towers Complex:

Ponce de Leon Towers is an oceanfront complex on New Smyrna's driving shore. Guests have access to a seasonally heated pool, direct beach access, shuffleboard courts, a community room with a pool table, and plenty of on-site parking. The complex is within walking distance to multiple restaurants and less than 2 miles from the popular Flagler Avenue and the area's main grocery store.

The condo was very nice and clean. One main thing that my kids enjoy doing on vacation is swim. The description said a heated pool. The pool was like an ice bath and not able to be used. After reporting it, I was told that the heater was broken and they were waiting on a part to arrive. While I understand these things happen, it was very disappointing for the kids. The code to the door didn’t work when we arrived, but it was quickly rectified by the person who took the after hours calls. The code to the pool did not work. The code to the beach only worked after being told by another tenant that you have to put a C in front of the code. These things were small inconveniences and overall we really enjoyed the condo itself. It was nicely stocked, although only one garbage bag was provided. Make sure you buy more while you’re there! Lots of beach chairs were available as well as a few sand toys.

The best thing about this condo was the view. Absolutely amazing with a wraparound balcony. The condo itself was nice, but there were a few things that we thought needed to be done in order to make it a great vacation place. There were three Roku TVs and each had three remotes. Didn’t know how to use those. Had to play around and finally got two of the TVs working. TV in master bedroom never did come on. Toilet in master bedroom is so low to the floor, if you’re a senior with bad knees, watch out. In my experience, most VRBO‘s have notebooks listing instructions on checking out, using the TV, etc. This unit had nothing, except at least three laminated papers explaining how to deal with sea turtles.We were pretty much on our own. The floors needed to be mopped. I wore socks and they were filthy by the time we left. The building itself looked old and outdated. One of the elevators broke down twice while we were there, but they did work quickly to get them up and running. Washers and dryers are on each floor. We put 1.50 worth of quarters in one machine and it wasn’t working. I went down to the office to get my money back, because it was the fact that we didn’t have any more quarters, not the 1.50 And the guy at the desk gave me a quarter back. He said they didn’t own the appliances.If you’re walking into the office, it’s pretty gross. Very unkempt and trashed out.When it comes down to it, the condo we stayed in was nice. Don’t know if I would stay again, however.

The area is great, the condo was beautiful and came with everything we needed. The pool area was a little disappointing due to the location, size and cleanliness. We did enjoy the beach and ocean and all of the chairs and items available for the beach. The beach umbrella broke first attempt of putting it into the sand. the bottom was rusted and broke off when trying to set it up into the sand.

GREAT LOCATION! GORGEOUS VIEW from the balcony and windows throughout the condo. Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. We loved the balcony and view, however, the table/chairs and crowded balcony have room for improvement, as do the bed pillows. Communication from property manager was on point, thank you! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

It is a great condo but a couple of things need to be fixed. The oven isn’t calibrated for temperature. Also, there were areas in the bathroom and tile that weren’t thoroughly clean.We had wanted to stay an extra day and had messaged the “host” through VRBO and heard an initial reply which said the condo was available. We confirmed and said we wanted the condo, but there was no further response or confirmation. We then emailed and the response y then was that the condo was not available.

New Smyrna sisters trip!

Had a family reunion and stayed in this beautiful condo. The views of the Atlantic were spectacular! Condo has been nicely renovated; the photos of the condo accurately reflected its appearance. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials so we enjoyed eating at the condo a few times! We appreciate that there was coffee and filters so we enjoyed coffee on the balcony. I will be back!!

Our stay was incredible! We would highly recommend this unit! It was recently renovated and very nice inside. Direct ocean front balcony. All the ammonites we could have ever needed. They were happy to accommodate us with early check in as our flights didn't line up. Everything about our stay was incredible. We will be making this a recurring trip!

tile floors should have been cleaned better, middle bedroom bed is very uncomfortable, we noticed some mold on the master bathroom ceiling.overall the condo is beautiful with incredible views

Perfect view

This property needed a good cleaning overall. The balcony gave us a perfect view of the ocean and the codo itself was in good repair however some things needed attention. (bed in second bedroom needed relacing and toilet in ensuite needed updating. could use linen in kitchen) We would certainly return if these issues were addressed. Paul and Judy

Nice spot with a beautiful ocean view

Nice property located in a convenient area. Walking distance to a few restaurants, and the Ocean View was fantastic. Inside the living room you could look out the glass doors and it looked like you were right on the ocean.

We had an amazing time and everything went smoothly! The communication was fabulous from the time I reserved the condo until I left. The condo was well furnished, nicely decorated and very clean. We look forward to coming back next year!

Beautiful view

Condo 401 has been beautifully renovated and decorated. The kitchen has mostly everything needed for meal prep. Better knives, better can opener and a Crock Pot would be nice. The furniture and beds are very comfortable and well appointed. The balcony furniture and floor needs a serious cleaning. There are plenty of parking spaces. We arrived in two cars and there was no problem with the extra cars. The building is older and in general looks ok except the paint on the balcony rails is peeling off and there is rust on the roof. I only saw our balcony but assume all the balconies will look the same. The view from this unit is spectacular and sits very close to the beach.

Great Spot

Property was good enough. Decor was nice. There was a strange smell in the master bathroom. Living room carpet was dirty. Beach commodities provided were broken, had to buy a boogie board. Location was excellent. Grateful for the chance to stay.
