Beautiful Lake House Perfect Peaceful Country Getaway

Looking for a peaceful getaway? You’ve found it with this tranquil home on Lake Sinissippi. Lake Sinissippi is a 3000 acre lake that is home to a variety of wildlife. For as large as the lake is, it is not crowded and is the perfect getaway for those that love lake life and hate crowds. The lake is a shallow lake and is perfect for swimming, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and relaxing. The house faces east, allowing early birds an amazing sunrise over the lake. The lake is approximately 3’ deep at the end of our pier, so no diving but it’s perfect to cool off and perfect for kids. The bottom is a sandy bottom but does get mucky when you explore further away from our pier.

Our house is at the southern end of Butternut Island. There are no sidewalks, it is a quiet, dead end street and has amazing, friendly neighbors. Our house has been updated and well maintained over the years. We just completed a large kitchen renovation! Lots of room for several cooks to be in the kitchen while you have several seats at the breakfast bar asking for when it is dinner time! It is the perfect house to host a group. The kitchen table holds 10 and is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or play games. We have all sorts of games to choose from that range from Chutes and Ladders to Cards Against Humanity. There is a large front room with vaulted ceilings and comfortable couches with a flat screen TV (with Fire TV Stick on both TV's and WiFi,) There are 5 bedrooms that have closets, dressers and new (within the last 2 years) comforters. There are 2 full bathrooms and one half bath and all have been updated within the last 5 years.

There is a sunroom on the back of the house that allows for a full view of the lake. There is a flat screen TV, table, chairs and couch in there to relax. It is also the perfect place for a mid afternoon nap. On one side of the sunroom is a brick patio with gas grill and patio furniture, so you can grill dinner and enjoy some cocktails. On the other side of the sunroom is an attached deck with a table and chairs that can seat 6. Eat al fresco or just sit back and enjoy the lake.

Our yard is spacious and allows an open place to enjoy some outdoor games. There is a concrete patio right next to the lake with lounge chairs and swing. It is the perfect spot to enjoy a book or supervise swimmers. At night, build a fire in the fire pit and enjoy!

Additional amenities include: kayak, canoe, paddle board, life vests (with child sizes), bags, bocce, football, frisbee, metal fire pit, cards, board games, pinball machine, high chair, pack n play, washer and dryer, 2 full size refrigerators, gas grill, Keurig and 5 gallon water dispenser that can be for hot or cold water.

This is the perfect getaway for a family or for anyone looking to relax, unplug and enjoy a quiet peaceful lake house. Come experience this little piece of heaven for yourself.
