This warm & welcoming cabin is a trusted favourite with families visiting Fairmont and the Columbia Valley in all seasons. Walking distance to trails, coffee shops, groceries & gift stores while less than a 5 minute drive to the hot spring pools, golf courses & ski area this beautiful home makes an excellent choice for your next vacation.

Toast marshmallows around the back-yard fire-pit (wood can be purchased from the local grocery store) & bring your lawn games - thereā€™s plenty of space in the grassy yard. Off-street parking for 6 vehicles and you have a garage to store your toys - golf clubs, bikes, ski equipment or canoes!

*Furry friends are welcome at our pet friendly cabin (pet fee applies of $25/nt- Max 2 pets) - they will love the amazing trails - the Spirit Trail at Columbia Lake Provincial Park or the Wilder Park by the River are both with 5-10 minutes and are favourites of ours.

From golfing to river-tubing, zip-lining to hiking in the summer and skiing to skating, xc skiing to snowshoeing in the winter youā€™ll never be short of fun things to do. Relaxing and unwinding by the crackling fire or in the sunroom are perfect options too! Message us with any questions and we can help you plan your Fairmont vacation time.

Nice getaway for a family gathering

We loved staying at Falcon Cabin. Cozy but spacious, and well situated for all activities. The Fairmont Creek team does a great job of making sure youā€™re well looked after. I wouldnā€™t hesitate to book again, perhaps in the winter so we could make use of the wood burning fireplace.

Family weekend getaway

We stayed here with a family of 14. There were enough beds, bunk beds and sofa beds for every couple and kids to enjoy their stay. Everything we could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. The only minor hiccup was the complimentary firewood was not there for our first night. We did have to purchase some ourselves, but when discussed with the property manager, they agreed to get wood out to us and reimburse us the cost of the wood purchased. Otherwise, it was a great weekend away for the family.

Plenty of room for the whole family!

We stayed here with 2 couples and a family with kids and it was wonderful! Quiet neighbourhood, lots of space for visiting and for the kids to play. All the rooms make it easy to sneak away for some quiet time away from everyone. Included all the kitchen appliances/utensils that one would possibly need. A great DVD selection of family and adult movies for a movie night! We stayed mid August and it was really hot but there were lots of fans and It cooled down lots in the evening/night. The lower level stayed cool all day. Groceries, coffee shop, gas, car wash, shops, restaurants and ice cream is a 3 minute walk. Things to note -There is no non perishables left there except salt and pepper; so bring everything including cooking oil, coffee etc. - If you plan on going to the beach bring beach towels as there are only white bath towels - No A/C, but lots of fans and it gets cool at night **Would definitely recommend and would stay again!**

Our family loved the ability to be together in this large beautiful home. It was fully outfitted to cook a full turkey dinner, lots of room for games and fun, beautiful area, driveway cleaned as snow fell.

Big House for Family reunion

This older home is located close to the hot springs, and within walking distance to a small grocery store and shops. The kitchen was extremely well stocked but we did go through the ā€œstarter packā€ quickly (advise people to bring extra tp, garbage bags and paper towel) The furnishings and carpets were well used. There was an ample number of beds, but I would recommend no adults sleep on the pull out couches - extremely old and uncomfortable . There was plenty of space for our family of 10 and we enjoyed having the pool table. It would have been nice to have a bar fridge in the bar! The grounds were not very private and the front yard was the only space for playing games (no grass unfortunately). We had to clean the outside furniture and barbecue as they were filthy (the bbq had leftover fish juice in the tray!). Nonetheless we did have a good holiday together mostly because of the amount of space the house provided.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed the size of this house ,the only thing was it wasnā€™t clean at all. The deck furniture was dirty and dusty and so was the deck. Out back where the fire pit was nothing had been wiped off or swept up. Also inside floors and carpet not clean. Also the garage was very dirty and hasnā€™t been swept for quite some time. Overall enjoyed our stay would recommend this property.

The only issue we had was with the second bedroom, unable to convert the bed into Queen..

The dishwasher needs a good cleaning, I had to clean the filter..otherwise it was a great vacation..

Excellent vacation house for our family week at Fairmont

We really liked the skylights with natural light. Lots of room, with big kitchen and table, and all the appliances. Everything was in very good shape. We enjoyed our stay, even though weather was not the greatest for Fairmont. Great to see the wildlife close by...deer and a black bear.

Wonderful location, clean and quiet!

What a great place for a family gathering...eight adults and two dogs had a fantastic time. Our family spent most of the trip hanging out in the large well stocked kitchen area with the huge table and lots of seating, or the downstairs rec room area with the pool table and pub/TV room. The house is bright and both the owner and the property mgmt team very responsive should you have any questions!

Large spacious home

The cabin was large and close proximity to Fairmont Hot Springs and and suited our needs well. We were at a wedding at Fairmont Resort and their shuttle drove us right to the door after the wedding. My only concern would be with the cleaning people because a 5:00 pm check in and a 10:00 departure time is difficult. Especially when you have to take your own garbage to the dump and take the linens off etc. Fortunately the owners were nice and arranged for us to arrive early at 4:00 so we could get to the rehearsal dinner on time.The cabin was clean but the deck was not swept.We did not fully utilize all of the amenities of the house but it was well equipped with fire pit, pool table, downstairs bar etc. The beds were comfortable and the house remained cool considering how hot it was outside. All in all a very nice place and a much better deal then staying at the resort.

Bright, nicely decorated and very spacious.

Our family had a great stay at this beautiful cabin. Lots of room for everyone. The scenery with the large trees surrounding the cabin was very serene. The kitchen was stocked for anything you wanted to cook. The only complaint that we had were some of the beds were very uncomfortable and you might want to look into replacing the bed pillows. They were kind of dirty and very hard. But overall this place was very nice!

A great location ... and much more

As the saying goes, ā€œlocation, location, location!ā€ This home is ideally situated for the ski hill, the hot springs, hiking, shopping, and getting up close and personal with the local wildlife. To say that the kitchen is well appointed is an understatement. I recommend to Anne to buy a new coffee pot, but the stellar waffle maker made up for that. Not to mention thereā€™s a terrific coffee shop just minutes away by foot. And when youā€™re done at the coffee shop you can also pick up a few groceries and check out the Purple Cow gift shop. You can also take a short drive into Invermere and cruise the unique shops and eating establishments. I believe we ate at the Blue Dog (a name close to that) and they were so good because we had two celiacs and a gluten sensitive person with us. Also, a special shout out to the woman working at the Subway in Fairmont. Just another example of someone going the extra mile to ensure a safe eating experience for a celiac. Thank you šŸ˜Š We loved being able to sit all together, and at the same time, at the dining table. And even though we were a group of nine, we were never crowded in the home. There were ample sleeping choices and the kids enjoyed their own space with the bunk beds. Did I mention the wildlife? A group of deers paid us a visit the first night - ten of them! Then each day after a few would drop by in the early evening. We also took a hike in the hoodoos. So, as you can see thereā€™s lots to do and see. A highlight was probably the night we went to the hot springs after a day of tubing and skiing and it snowed, and snowed, and snowed. The kids (some young and some not as young! Ha ha!) took turns rolling in the fresh snow and then quickly dipping back into the warm water. I can assure you that some great memories were made that night šŸ˜Š I trust you will have as much fun as we did and make some lasting memories of your own. Youā€™re definitely in the right place to make magic happen.
