Enjoy your summer vacation in the quaint village of Snug Harbor! Renovated in 2019 and ready for your vacation in South County! Ride your beach bike to East Matunuck State Beach just one mile away! On the ride back, stop at the internationally known Matunuck Oyster Bar for fresh oysters and a cocktail! Take a quick walk down to snug harbor marina and grab a fresh breakfast sandwich at the diner as you watch the boats sail by! Newly installed, Central A/C for cool nights! NEW kitchen includes: stainless appliances, granite countertops. Electric Range with Microwave above, Dishwasher in island, Refrigerator with water/ice and microwave. Garbage disposal. Newly finished hardwood floors throughout. LARGE island that sits 6 for ultimate entertaining!! Sun splashed Living room with brand all new furniture, lighting, and entertainment center. Features WiFi, Surround Sound, 55inch HDTV, Roku Ready with Hulu TV that includes all local channels and sports package so you don’t miss a game. 3 Bedrooms, all with new furniture in 2018. Master with queen and 38” Flat Screen TV and lots of closet space (sleeps 2). 1st guest bedroom with another queen, flat screen tv, and double closet (sleeps 2). 2nd guest room has 1 twin and a trundle twin which can pull up to a queen (sleeps 3). All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. Bathroom on main floor with standup shower and plenty of vanity space. Washer and dryer included in basement. Large deck off the living room with new 5 burner gas grill and patio set w/umbrella to seat 6. Newly installed outdoor shower for use after a long day at the beach. Deck stairway leads to backyard with gas fire pit and seating for 6 in a newly fenced in yard. Parking for 3 cars off-street. A must visit!

Perfect Snug Harbor Cottage

Our family had a wonderful stay in this cozy & cute cottage. It is located in a quiet seaside neighborhood very close to marinas, restaurants & the ocean. The owners were so helpful & made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. The kitchen & living room make this house great; a perfect place to congregate as a family after boating and visiting Newport & Block Island. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nicely updated. We highly recommend this cottage for a family getaway on the Rhode Island coast.

Nice short stay

Great location with very nice living and dining rooms, check in was simple and owner very helpful, responding immediately to any questions. However the bathroom badly needs to be redone.

Summer vacation

Fantastic location, near beach, Snug Harbor Marina, Jims dock and Matunick Oyster house. Quiet neighborhood and great for biking. House is adorable and very clean

Family beach vacation

This house was perfect for the 5 of us! The kitchen was equipped with what we needed. The owner reached out the day of check in to let me know we could check in earlier. This was a plus! Nice place and close enough to the beaches!😊

Beach cottage

This beach cottage stay for my family was a Wonderful jumping off point to see many different beaches in south county. This home has a very nicely renovated kitchen and extra comfortable mattresses in the master bedroom. It was easy to host a few visiting friends on the front porch and backyard fire pit area. It is located walking distance from a really nice marina/ store/ breakfast spot. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Lovely Stay in Snug Harbor Area

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, walking distance to snug harbor and a quick drive to the beach. The house was beautifully done with anchors (which the kids loved counting) and beach decor, and was one of the nicest places we have stayed in the area. Everything was well-supplied until we were able to get to the store. And while linens are not included, and we didnt end up needing more than we brought, we appreciated the availability of backup linens just in case. The host was also super responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Sweet beach spot

The house is super nice and looks as pictured. Our kids loved the backyard and the outdoor shower! We didn’t realize in advance that there is no dining table. Eating at the barstools or outside worked fine for us, just something nice to be aware of. We ate one night at Matunuck oyster bar, which was fabulous, but be sure to book 3 weeks in advance (when they open the reservations), because it books up fast. All in all we had a great trip!!

Charming

This is a lovely farmhouse with lots of room. Each room has a different character and we especially liked the living room to have morning coffee and quiet visiting time. We spent most of our afternoons and evenings in Jerusalem with family during a family reunion. The farmhouse was a retreat after busy days. The view of the expansive fields around the farmhouse is beautiful and adds to the relaxing nature of the property. We did not use the AC since the breeze through the windows was refreshing. The owners live next door and were very quick to respond to a few questions we had and very gracious with the use of their property. Note that linens and towels are not included. We brought our own. We are not used to traffic noise and there is a little bit from Route 1. We used a white noise app on our phone to deflect that. Certainly not terrible, just noticeable to us and solvable. Check in and check out requires stopping at the realtor office in the next town during business hours. We would definitely stay at this charming farmhouse again!

A great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The house was clean and very inviting. The central A/C worked really well, as did all the appliances. The home is in a residential neighborhood, very close to all the local attractions. The outdoor shower was great. No complaints at all, we recommend!

Perfect for our family

Recently updated and well maintained cottage. The neighborhood was peaceful with very friendly neighbors. Nice size back yard with a side yard good for wiffle ball/ badminton etc. Owner is very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location, really nice cottage!

We really enjoyed our rental. It was very clean and updated throughout. The location was perfect just minutes to a couple nice beaches.

This property was just as it was advertised. Nice neighborhood. Great space & great location. Had a great time exploring local eateries and spent beach days at East Matunick State Beach. Downtown Wakefield is just up Rte 1 for more dining, shopping and convenience stores. I would definitely book again. 😊🌊☀️💙

Sweet Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely sweet spot in Snug Harbor. It was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location was non-tourist like and that’s exactly what we wanted. Even the neighbors were friendly and welcoming. It was a perfect place for us to stay.

Snug cottage a delight

The cottage was charming and clean, with all the housekeeping necessities. Proximity to Snug Harbor provided morning walks for coffee and nature observation. Recommend having a bike because East Matunuck Beach parking does fill up--someone can do a drop off from the car and then return by bike. Point Judith is nearby.

Wonderful long weekend

My sister, 2 cousins and I rented this house for a long weekend. It was very pleasant and we had a great time. There are plenty of good restaurants near by and the beach was lovely. We are already checking our schedules to see when we can return.

Wonderful cottage peaceful and relaxing. Definitely stay again.

The location is great. Jayne was very helpful with our needs. Enjoyed sitting on the deck having breakfast and cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. We loved it.

Rainy Weekend

We found the house just as promoted on VRBO! The weather was discouraging but we made the best of it using the property as our base and gorging on all the yummy seafood restaurants around it. The little diner at the local marina was the best!!

Snug Harbor Stay for URI Graduation

Jayne our host, responded to us at moments notice, extremely helpful. The house, although a little smaller than we perceived from photos, was well appointed. An extra half bath would have been perfect as we were 6-7 ppl at any given time. Matunuck Oyster house was within walking distance (family favorite) and a bike ride to the beach really made the weekend special. As an aside, we have rented many homes and have never been asked to bring our own linens...perhaps this is a by product of COVID. Whatever the reason, we still had the option to use house linens and respected their home as if it were ours. Outdoor shower, grill, dining table and firepit made this a "go to" for our next stay in Naraganssett Thank you to our very gracious hosts!! A+++
