You are sure to be alone in the gîte for your peace of mind!

Our house is located in a flowered and wooded garden in the immediate vicinity of the vegetable patch and vineyards. Composed of a two-story building, it faces south and is very bright.
It has been fully furnished for your comfort. We favored noble materials such as wood, and the upstairs bedrooms reveal the frame. The rooms are painted in current and soothing tones to bring our guests to relaxation.
We took care of the decoration with a lot of passion. Each piece has an identity. Each of the rooms is comfortable and conducive to rest with touches of color and details that make it charming.
The large living room which is the central point of the house overlooks the terrace and is open to the fitted kitchen.
It is a comfortable and pleasant house located in the Champagne countryside in the heart of the Marne Valley. The calm of its environment will seduce you less than 15 minutes from the Capital of Champagne!
We will be pleased to share with you the comfort and serenity that reign here.

Lovely house, lovely stay

We had a very nice stay in this lovely house. The hosts cooked a very nice meal for us and even gave a complimentary bottle of champagne. Great place to explore the champagne region from.

Rinze and his wife were perfect hosts. They came to discover Champagne and were very interested in local traditions. They really appreciated the experiences we introduced them to. They communicate very easily and they left the cottage in a perfect state of cleanliness. We thank you again for your kindness and the exchanges we were able to have with you. Have a great summer. I Highly recommend this beautiful home in a beautiful area. Very comfortable, clean, well equipped and decorated. Jean Eric and Chantal are excellent hosts, generous and kind. In particular, the meal which they prepared for us was so delicious. They even prepared a second desert for us on a different night. Both delivered to the Vrbo. The sword opening of the champagne bottle was the perfect highlight for such an exceptional stay. Well situated for exploring local champagne producers. I highly recommend!

We can not say too many wonderful things about Jean-Eric, Chantal, and their lovely gite. Jean-Eric and Chantal are welcoming, thoughtful and caring, and provide service beyond any experience we've ever had with VRBO, even finding us emergency medical assistance when one of our party had a small problem. And the gite is beautiful, a perfect location for savoring the Champagne region, with a beautiful common area we used with pleasure. What a wonderful experience. Thank you, Jean-Eric and Chantal!

Wonderful place to stay!

My husband and I spent two nights in OEuilly at the lodging of Jean-Eric and Chantel and loved it! The home is clean and spacious with it's own private deck, hot tub and BBQ. Jean-Eric and Chantel are gracious hosts and incredible cooks. We would highly advise you to take advantage of their offer to prepare and serve you a meal in your apartment. It was absolutely delicious!

Delightful oasis among the vines

The Oeuillade is a lovely haven for visitors to the Champagne region in a village near Epernay. Bedrooms very comfortable and lovely living area. Did not use outside area or spa because of weather but can imagine they would be a great space to rest and enjoy a glass of wine. Hosts were gracious and welcoming. Enjoyed their catering option, and learned a novel way of opening a bottle of champagne. Would stay here again.

Kathryn, her daughter and her friend were very pleasant travelers and seemed to have enjoyed the services we offered them. The comfort of L'OEUILLADE also pleased them. They were able to discover the region and the Champagne Houses and think one day come back! Finally, they left the lodging in a perfect state of cleanliness.

Overnight bliss

Beautiful and charming accommodation, with wonderful hosts who cooked stunning food and catered for our vegi/vegan requirements and left gifts for the children. Well equipped, blackout shutters, everything you need provided. Highly recommended. We look forward to returning. Thank you Jean Eric for such warm hospitality. We could not have asked for more.

If you are visiting Champagne, stay in this home.

We had planned to visit Champagne in 2020 and confidently booked this home based on the website information and the extraordinarily positive reviews. Unfortunately, we had to cancel that trip due to the Covid pandemic. When finally able to travel again, we were very pleased that Jean-Eric’s home was available and booked it without hesitation. Our four night stay was wonderful for the reasons given in all of the previous reviews and thanks in no small part to Jean-Eric’s professionalism and warm hospitality. Particular highlights were of course the ‘sabre ceremony’ and a memorable three course dinner by Chantelle.

Best VRBO we’ve stayed

Wonderful stay! The host and hostess are wonderful. Provided a great deal of info ahead of time, including advice of winery tours and restaurants. The house itself was so modern and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our host welcomed us with a bottle of champagne and introduced us to the tradition of “sabering a bottle” of champagne. The garden and yard are beautiful and coffee on the deck in the mornings was magical. The village of OEuilly is a charming 330 person place with vineyards right at the doorstep of houses. We took great walks up the slope in the valley in the mornings and evenings. Simply put, best VRBO we’ve stayed in across France or USA. We will be back !!!! Thank you

Vacation of Dreams! Jean-Eric is the BEST!

Cannot speak more highly of this place! My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying both this beautiful and spacious cottage and also the company of Jean-Eric and his wife. Upon arrival Jean-Eric was beyond accommodating. He assisted us in travel details to make sure we arrived at our daily excursions easily and safely. His recommendations of both champagne houses and local restaurants were perfection. He and his wife presented beautiful breakfasts and even a birthday brunch including a candle! The cottage has everything someone can need or desire with beautiful countryside views out every window. And the best part, you can’t find a better host in Champagne. I hope we are lifelong friends. This was easily the best house rental experience of my life.

Brittany and her husband were perfect travelers and very communicative. They were adorable. They were interested in local traditions, the Great Champagne Houses and our famous drink: Champagne! Lovely, clean & quiet property in a great location

We travelled with our 10 month old son to champagne for the first time & it didn't disappoint. At the property we were greeted by Jean-Eric & his wife, they were very helpful in showing us around the property & making us feel welcome. The weather was very hot but Jean-Eric gave us a fan which helped a lot. There was a good amount of space for our son to crawl around and play as well as all the amenities needed to enjoy the house; outside was decked with a table, chairs & parasol. The hot tub was a nice touch, plus there was a good amount of privacy too. Jean-Eric and his wife cooked for us one night, it was a lovely 5 course homemade French menu starting with the ceremonial cutting off of the champagne cork. The meal was obviously at extra cost but VERY reasonable. The property is in a nice countryside location with vineyards all around & just a short car journey into Epernay where we had some great champagne tours. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Champagne & having a property like this to base ourselves certainly helped. We will be back.

Alles was das Herz begehrt

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in dem kleinen aber feinen Cottage. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen Gastfreundlich und halten auch wundervolle Überraschungen für einen parat. Herrliche Stille erwartet einen dort. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt, wenn man ein bissl Champagner bei den Produzenten direkt kaufen möchte. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Merci Jean-Eric & Chantalle

Simone und ihr Mann sind sehr freundliche und kommunikative Reisende. Sie haben die Dienstleistungen, die wir ihnen angeboten haben, sehr geschätzt. Comfortabel en compleet huis

Het huis voldeed aan de verwachtingen uit de presentatie. De eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en makkelijk te bereiken. Goed uitgerust huis met de nodige luxe. De jacuzzi op het terras was een heerlijke bonus bij 28 graden. Rustig dorpje in een mooie omgeving van wijngaarden.

Rob et sa compagne ont été des hôtes d'une grande délicatesse. Ils étaient très intéressés par les traditions champenoises et ont eu l'occasion de visiter de nombreuses maisons de champagne où l'accueil a toujours été convivial et sympathique. Ils semblent avoir bien apprécié les prestations que nous leur avons proposées et pourraient revenir prochainement à L'Oeuillade. Nous les accueillerons volontiers. Ils ont également laissé le gîte dans un excellent état de propreté.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt inmitten der Champagne

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im kleinen Örtchen. Das Ferienhaus war gut ausgestattet und geräumig. In der Umgebung lassen sich viele Dinge anschauen! Champagnerproduktion, Reims!!! unbedingt anschauen, Paris ist nur 1,5 Stunden entfernt und einen Besucht wert. Wir waren 10 Tage im Ferienhaus und haben jede Minute genossen.

Un accueil remarquable dans un écrin de verdure
