Turquoise Pearl in the Desert

This could be the best place you want to stay in this pandemic season. Nice historic town, beautiful views, healing hot springs, everything safe and quiet. And we try to make sure you feel cozy and comfortable. This is a newly & fully remodeled mobile home, with only five minutes walking distance to Main Street (brewery, grocery store, restaurants…), Rio Grande River, and 9 different hot springs soaking establishments. 5 miles to Elephant Butte Lake, largest lake in New Mexico. 20 miles to America's Spaceport, tours pickup just block from this location. If you like to explore this is the area to check out. Endless open space scenery!!!

In order to make you feel as relaxed as at home, we prepared all the things you may need, Direct TV, WiFi, sofa, swamp cooler, walk-in tub, barbecue grill as requested, baby high chair, gas range with oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, rice cooker, toaster, blender, water purifier, reading lights and all the utensils are all convenient to use.

We also worked hard on the beautiful turquoise 45 feet screened porch, which is providing you the perfect shading, mountains view to enjoy, colorful stringed lights, patio chair set, sit down enjoy beer and breezes!

In heart of historic TorC

Great little place to stay. Clean and uncluttered. My husband and I stayed almost a month, and the only thing I would add, equipment-wise, is a mixing bowl or two in the kitchen (also, ask about the microwave situation if you're used to using one.There's a glitch.) Also a bench or extra chair in the back bedroom would be handy. So, if that's all that's lacking that's great. Bed quite comfortable. Loved the light on all four sides, and the porch... and the birds. The manager, Elvis, lives right next door, there's a great little grocery store 2 blocks away, and it's walking distance to several (commercial) hot springs!

My stay

The place was nice at 1st look, but then you have hot water for about 7 min before it freezes you out. There is no microwave, the futon is not as advertised. The wifi is diff from what the site says, and what the booklet says, and wouldn't connect to stream things. The property mgr tried to charge me $20 extra for a cpl nights that had been added, which I was told to give in cash, and didn't get a receipt. He also kept harassing my co worker and my brother bc they came to the house a cpl times, and was making smart remarks as if we were causing trouble. I was charged extra for things I shouldn't have been charged for.

Relaxing and close to everything

Enjoyed a great two weeks. Walked to almost everywhere, so much to explore. Relaxing and quiet. Great little find, very clean and the deck was a nice extra space to enjoy!

I just want to thank elvis for his hospitality and his humor. This place is a gem.... just a perfectly kept diamond in the rough. Clean safe chillaxin paradise. I spent every evening on the porch and enjoyed the high fenced in privacy with a great yard...

Great stay

We needed a place to stay for a month while we cleaned, painted and readied ourselves to move into our new home. It was clean, comfortable, reasonable priced and Elvis next door took real good car of us. Only thing i would have added was a microwave.

We stayed for a month at this cute little gem and loved it! It was so neat and clean when we got there! The property manager and owner were so kind and helpful to us whenever we asked! The porch is great to set on and watch the birds, nice and private! Hope to stay there again!!!

Very nice property!!!

Everything was great. Nice grill that we used several times during our 2 week stay. Nice shower/walk in tub chair & always plenty of hot water. Back yard was quiet with the privacy fence all around. Elvis was a great & helpful host! Nice enough that we considered using it as a potential 3 month stay next winter season! Close to a couple walking trails near the Rio Grande that I walked frequently! All & all a very positive experience. The cooking pans get too hot when used especially the small pot that I heated water in for tea. Learned the hard way to use a pot holder!

Clean and Friendly!

Great spot to stay with our dog, the fenced in back yard is secure and overall it was a great stay. I forgot my necklace at the rental and the property manager called me up right away and i was able to come get it.

Mobil home with a great screened porch. Place was very clean. Furnishings a little sparce, but bathroom is updated and nice. On a corner in quiet neighborhood; close to "downtown". There was only 2 of us, 4 people could make better use of accomodations.

Great location; comfortable place.

The manager met us and showed us the ropes. It’s a renovated trailer house in a great location . Could walk to town and the river. A little upgrade on pans would be great. We are spoiled at home with nonstick pans. No dishwasher , but they never said they had one! I laughed, because I don’t have one at home either. Reasonable rate and they allow pets.

Location ideal for everything in town. I liked how I felt safe, neighborhood is quiet and manager was right next door. Highly recommend this place.

Truth or Consequences central location

Elvis was really helpful and everything was super clean and the place was centrally located within walking distance of all of the hot springs, restaurants and downtown.

Awesome outdoor space

We loved the outdoor space! Very private and inviting and the dog had plenty of room. The entire property was comfortable and clean. Elvis, the manager, was quite helpful and just a very nice person, as was Keen, the owner. Upon a return trip to the area, this is the property we will hope to find available. My granddaughter, who is pursuing a degree in sustainability, suggested that maybe a recycling bin might be a good addition, but overall ours was a delightful stay and we look forward to repeating it.

Loved it

The location was great, we go for The Riverbend and it was just down the street. It was quiet and peaceful. Very, very clean. I loved having my coffee on the porch. The shower is a bit tricky but it was doable. I would stay here again for sure. Thank you!

T or C Staycation at In Harmony

My partner and little fur babies spent 4 days at this lovely, well situated home. As advertised, we were smack dab in the middle of super soaking opportunities, shopping and a brewery. Our dogs loved the yard, lounging porch; we definitely enjoyed the quiet. I do wish there we had more comfortable seating options, but other than that, it was a wonderfully hospitable place, easy check-in/out and great location. Thank you Keen and Elvis.

Great stay

We had a great stay at this property. It was clean quiet and and outdoor porch was wonderful! Only issue we had was with the shower head not being mounted to the wall.

Great location, clean, simple and perfect for a group with a dog

We stayed for 3 nights. Easy to walk everywhere - to the supermarket, brewery, restaurants - and the hot springs. The larger bedroom is fine for a couple. The smaller bedroom is small, OK for a kid or for a single person. Nice setup and perfect for someone with a dog because of the enclosed backyard. In my opinion, it is better than staying at Riverbend which is crowded and feels like a motel - except for thermal pools which are great but you can easily walk to in 10 minuts.

A lovely stay!

This property is lovely! Very clean and beautifully laid out. The porch is such a nice space. The internet is very fast and we so enjoyed Truth or Consequences! The yard was also great for our dog Laurel. Thank you ever so much!
