The Recreation Center / Lodge features a swimming pool, two outdoor hot tubs, locker room saunas, billiards, tennis and bocce courts, and a fitness trail. The complex backs up to Tahoe National Forest, offering miles of hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and other activities year-round.

Your home away from home is in Carnelian Bay, where all North Lake Tahoe is right at your doorstep! Stroll down to Magic Carpet mini golf or check out Waterman’s Landing, located at Patton Landing Beach, a 3-acre, pebbly beach known for stand-up paddling.

To experience Lake Tahoe gambling and nightlife, Incline Village and Nevada's historic casino Crystal Bay are a short drive away, just across the state line.

Closer to home, you'll find superb dining options right in town like Gar Woods Grill and Pier for steaks and fish, the Old Post Office Coffee Shop for hearty breakfasts, and CB's Pizza for hand-tossed pies and beer.

You're only 10-12 miles from three great ski resorts—Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley. Whether you prefer to downhill or cross-country ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or go sledding or ice skating, North Tahoe is the place for every winter activity.

Host interaction was great, we had an issue with the heather and host fixed it right away, but the cabin would benefit from updates all over, like the cabinets, carpets and electrical plugs

We had a great time

Came down to hit the slopes. Perfect location. Property manager super accommodating. We asked to check in a few hours earlier to get out of snowstorm and the manager replied within 30 minutes. This is our 3 rd time staying here. Definitely will return and recommend to friends. Thanks for a great stay.

Nice place to stay for a short weekend Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great clubhouse for the kids to swim, ping-pong and all. The townhouse was nice, the living space was small and the small balcony had really no space or chair to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. It fit the bill as we were in town for a wedding. Lots of stairs not little kid friendly, but they did provide stair gates. Lots of spider webs we had to brushed off. Close enough to take a walk down to the lake, clubhouse and miniature golf. It was good for the price point.

Great Family Stay

We stayed for a week in mid-September and the condo was perfect. Probably our favorite perk was the wagon, we are easy to please. It was super helpful with 7 kids and a trip to the beach everyday. Plenty of space for our group of 11. The listed amenities were not available, the hot tubs only open on the weekend for a few hours and we specially picked the location for the pool and hot tubs for the kiddos.

Great family vacation

Extended family vacation with kids. The house is spread out and three floors so a lot of stairs. Our kids are 5-8 so actually loved the stairs and made the loft their play area! We also enjoyed the pool area and hot tub but it is a drive to get there. The walk to the lake and mini golf is 8-10 minute walk and we all loved walking to watch the sunset! Bring bug spray if you go in summer like us. We really enjoyed this property and it’s a corner unit so lovely views!

Friends retreat

We had a great time with 12 people high school aged and parents staying at this place. The condo itself was great to host a big group for bonding and relaxation. Being close to the Lake was great, a short 5 minute walk and we were at the water, taking pictures and skipping rocks. Walking distance to coffee, 7-11, and minature golf. The rec room and hot tubs were nice and clean, the hours were limited, and they charge for billiards and arcades, so we utilized the hot tubs and saunas. Overall a good trip and would highly recommend this house.

Plumbing needs updating

The check-in process was easy, and communication was good. We requested and helpfully received late checkout. The house was clean, but is on the older side (think: worn carpets/bathmats, frayed towels, older appliances). Phone service here is very poor, but the wifi worked.Our biggest issue was that the plumbing is very weak--the toilets had very weak flushes, and needed 2-3 flushes to get just toilet paper down. The upstairs bathroom toilet wasn't flushing upon arrival; the plumber who was sent snaked the toilets, retrieved a bar of soap that had been flushed down, but also said that the plumbing really needed updating. And even after his visit, the toilets still had the issue of very weak flushes requiring 2-3 flushes.

too far to walk from parking to house

the down stirs master with fridge (not working) too many ants and spiders, door too bath should be opening out too hard to get in for handicapped, patio was almost too small for BBQ Ing, it should have been listed as small. Pool was closed too many times because of lack of help we where told. very disappointing

Beautiful property false advertising

This property is beautiful, we decided to bring our family for a get away. Having teens over we look for amenities that they would love. AWFUL!!! THEY ADVERTISE DIFERENT AMENITIES THAT DONT EVEN EXIST ANYMORE!! THEY DONT LET YOU KNOW SOOO!!! ASK EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE BEFORE YOU BOOK!!!! BE PREPARE TO BRING YOUR OWN EVERYTHING!! EXCEPT FOR TOWELS. WE FOUND REALLY STUPID THAT YOU NEED TO LEAVE AND TAKE OUT TRASHES I mean they charge for everything and they charge a good amount cleaning fee amd cant this people even turn dishwasher on! Take out trashes.. VERY STRICT FOR VERY POOR SERVICE!!! PLUS!! WE WERE WALKING TO LOOK FOR THIS FALSE ANNOUNCE AMENITIES and attendant saw us and he didnt care to almost run us over!!!

Dusty and Outdated

We were dissatisfied with many things in this house. My son developed serious congestion the first night. I was wondering if he was getting sick but he was fine when we came home. Another friend started having allergic sneezing on the last day. The house felt dusty and definitely needs a deep clean. The beds were not comfortable. Quite a few chipped cups. I didn't realize one was cracked until my tea started leaking all over the table. Temperature in the rooms were not consistent. Some were extremely cold and some were very warm, which made thermostat adjustments challenging. One toilet was not working. Kitchen was not stocked with basics such as sugar. I was under the impression that there was garage parking per the Info sheet emailed to us: "Parking – Parking availability is limited to spaces in the garage and/or driveway." So we were disappointed that we had to park so far away and up the hill in a parking lot. Staying here was not what we expected and wouldn't recommend.

Instructions were easy to follow/house was easy to access, communication was clear, and when we thought we had an issue with a bathroom water spout, it was quickly "fixed" (we just weren't pulling the handle hard enough).

Good condo overall

It’s conveniently located close to some great restaurants, beaches and other activities, so that was awesome! The condo is dated and the kitchen and dining space is small. It was clean and pretty well stocked. We had an issue with one of the tv’s and they were out the next day to fix it. I would recommend but for a smaller group as the one bedroom was the loft which had no privacy.

Pool hours closed earlier than advertised but that's not the owners fault. Only recommendation would be to add a few more amenities for guests in the summer time like some beach chairs. The summer is beautiful at the lake and there are plenty of beaches where they would be useful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great place if you want to stay at a cabin, but dont need a backyard and dont mind neighbors close by. Not too many neighbors and the loft upstairs was awesome. Beautiful area in North Lake Tahoe. Only thing is wish the owner provided cleaning supplies. I like to clean up after myself but there were no cleaning products like counter spray and no broom. Ive stayed at quite a few rentals and cleaning products are always provided. I had to buy my own and use a hand brush and small dustpan to sweep. Other than that it was a great place.

A Cozy Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall stay was amazing. No complaints. I do want to mention to future guests to please, please ask for the refund policy before reserving. I feel like this property had a very strict refund policy. The overall process before my stay was frustrating. According to Airbnb, this property has three hosts who don't seem to relay information to each other. Therefore I felt myself having to repeat answers I had sent already to one host to another again and again. As a side note, I would recommend to the host to clean there vents for the heater. They were awfully dusty and in need of some cleaning. I hope I am not coming across as too critical, but I feel as though this feedback might help the host for the next guest. But overall, I was content with the amenities of the home and the location.
