Nestled into Fayette County is an A frame house in the country, Muldoon Get Away

An A frame tucked away in Muldoon, surrounded by larger ranches. This home is centrally located among several popular locations, such as Austin, San Antonio and Houston. Avoid all of the Houston traffic for an easy 45 minute drive into Round Top and Warrantor for Antique Shopping. Come to Flatonia in October for the Czhilispiel. Beat the traffic into Austin with a drive thru Smithville and Bastrop to pull right into Bergstrom s Austin International Airport (<1 hr), Visit local County Fairs and quilting shows. Sit on the back porch swing and cook out on the grill while you watch the cows and donkey roam around the back pasture. Watch the hummingbirds in the Spring as they flitter around the feeders on the back porch. There are plenty of shade trees to enjoy the full yard. get out and try local BBQ restaurants as well as so many other delicious and fun eateries in the nearby La Grange and Smithville area. Also, for the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external security cameras located on the driveway: D

My wife and I absolutely loved getting to stay here! We came to Texas for a wedding and it was very clean, inviting and peaceful. The host stayed in communication with us and we enjoyed being so close to where the wedding site was. Very clean, and had all the amenities one could hope for. Highly recommended! Would definitely be staying here if we come down to visit again.

Incredible stay!

We absolutely loved it here! Nice and quite, great get away from the city. I knew there was farm land around but seeing the cows close was a treat!

We had such a wonderful stay this weekend! Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed. The welcome basket was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home immediately. It truly felt like a home away from home—so cozy and comforting, it even reminded me of being back in my own home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay again! Farm getaway

True Family retreat

This property had everything we needed to get away from the big city. Ann was extremely accommodating and hospitable. Property is quiet, secluded, and so comfortable! We Would love to return!

Peaceful

We had another great stay (this was our 3rd). Peace and quiet and very restful. In spite of the rain this time, we were still able to get out and enjoy the area. We'll be back again next year!

So very impressed! The hosts were on top of everything and we felt so welcomed. Lots of room and comfortable furniture. Very clean! Highly recommended for individual and or families! Close to all areas we visited including the Shiner brewery for a beer and afternoon music. Kitchen has everything you need. And clean bathrooms. Really enjoyed.

Country Convenience

We selected this property due to the proximity of family nearby. It was an easy check-in process and enough space. The owner clearly takes care of the home and put thought into making it an enjoyable experience.

Roomy house. Roomy outdoors.

The house felt very spacious. Downstairs was an open floor plan with plenty of seating - 4 couches. Large open kitchen. Two dining tables so you could seat 12. House is out in the country, so plenty of views. Plenty of outdoor furniture. Favorite thing to do was to sit outside in the morning and drink coffee. It was so serene. We would definitely go back.

Country Getaway

We were so impressed with the house (cleanliness, ample living space, and location). The country setting was very relaxing. While sitting out on the patio, we enjoyed watching the cattle and the donkeys in the field next to us. We took quick trips to Lagrange and Smithville to do some shopping. We would definitely come back here again.

Spacious house

We enjoyed our stay in Muldoon! We were visiting family in LaGrange and this house was a much better option than staying in an hotel with 4 kids for a week. The house was very spacious with enough sleeping options for 6 people. The house was very clean and well stocked. It was an easy check in process and owner was very quick to respond to messages. I will definitely stay again when we visit family.

Fun girls’ trip

Hostess was great. She provided everything we needed to be comfortable. She even provided water in fridge and snack basket upon arrival. Kitchen well stocked and rural setting was so peaceful. I definitely recommend!

Country Visit

We wanted to get away from the city, and did we! This location is in a rural area with clean air, open fields and a fully equipped house that provided us the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the environment.

Perfect place !!

Very clean and very quiet place. Perfect for seeing the wildflowers and nearby antique shops. Had perfect nightly fires outside and some friendly animal visitors. Would finitely be back.

Texas Country Charm

We loved our stay at this lovely A frame in Muldoon. The morning views were beautiful as we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. The house was attractive, clean, and comfortable with plenty of room for family to stop by. Communication with the owners was great and we hope to stay again next spring!
