Recently renovated, the warm and cozy casita has a new kitchen equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator with an ice maker. The casita is focused on functionality, with a fresh perspective of clean lines, natural materials, abundance of natural light and accented with hughes of charcoal grey, deep blues and golds.

Clean & comfortable. Backyard is a real bonus

Everything we needed was in this casita (basically a 1-bedroom apartment). Included a washer & dryer. Several large windows let light in. Access to the backyard which had a grill (shared with the guest house residents) and a large patio table. Hosted dinner for 6 there. Will stay again

Nice property in a nice neighborhood

We had a great stay at this property! The apartment was recently tastefully updated. Everything was in working order and all essentials were supplied. Shelly is a great host! We had our bikes along... Civano and all of Tucson is very bike friendly. Note: if you have a large appetite for Italian food, I recommend Nate's or for a great breakfast, Margie's.

Lovely stay

We were a little worried that this property was a too much on the outskirts of Tucson - but we found that we were near everything that mattered to us! The property is in a beautiful community and close to a major road. Very clean. Comfortable bed. We could have had easy access to the property managers but didn’t need anything!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was as presented online. It was clean and comfortable. Civano is a pleasant well-cared-for neighborhood close to Saguerro National Park-East which we like to hike. Even walking around Civano on its paths is very nice. The hosts are very hands-on, friendly and willing to help with any issues.

This was our first experience renting a vacation home and it was a great experience. We loved Civano and the hosts, Shelly and Andy were helpful and always available. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. We were told if there was anything else we needed to just call and ask. We were there over Christmas and Shelly had her cowboy christmas tree up and lit when we arrived. It was so welcoming.. We would highly recommend Shelly and Andy as hosts.

Awesome place!

Shelly was a friendly, organized host and we enjoyed our interactions with her. The place was well equipped for cooking which was appreciated. It was nice having a good supply of staples like cleaning products and TP.

Exactly as advertised!

Cozy one bedroom apartment over a garage. Very nice comfortable furnishings. Very quiet neighborhood. Some peekaboo views of the mountains. Small but functional kitchen. I made bread from my starter! We made all our own meals except one breakfast out.

Great retreat!!

Loved staying here, great community and the casita was wonderful. The owners were the best and attended to every need I had, got responses back to questions almost immediately. I would definitely stay again, this particular area has a lot to offer.

Great Experience!

The check-in and checkout process was simple and quick. The place was clean with all the amenities and many you wouldn't expect. Food in the fridge and snacks! Who does that:) the owners were very friendly and attentive to anything you might need! Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone interested in renting in Tucson!

Awesome place!!!

I needed a place during a job transition and I was so happy to find this amazing casita available on VRBO!! It is has all the right touches and even water bottles in the fridge!! It was everything and more! It is close to Saguaro Nat'l Park East for some great hiking or trail running! Not far from the I-10 and many other resturants, etc. There is a nice walking path right outside the back gate, access to the pool and the neighborbood is quiet and people are friendly. I could go on and on, but without a doubt, I would highly recommend!! Shelly is great!! Thank you very much!! Marie😊

Lovely property

This property was perfect for our needs. Civano is a wonderful neighborhood, and Shelly is the perfect host. Especially appreciated the coffee, dairy goods and other snacks that were waiting for us! Great location, nicely appointed and very cozy and clean!

Excellent option in Tucson

I loved my stay here. The neighborhood that the casita is in is so cute and everyone is so friendly. The hosts are very friendly and available for anything you might need. The casita has everything you would need and Shelly even stocks it with light groceries for your first day! I would highly recommend.

Great place and Shelly is a warm and wonderful host

We were very impressed with Shelly and her casita is charming and comfortable. She has thought of everything. Neither of us can come up with anything that was missing. The location is excellent and she stacked the fridge and cupboard with great food, so we did not have to go out to get a thing when we arrived. There is a washer and dryer, small but full kitchen, comfortable queen bed and nice living room area with a large TV. She gave us a list of places to shop and eat. It feels like she has things very well organized and thought out and made us feel very welcomed to Tucson. And on top of being a good manager, she seems like a really responsible and kind person. The world needs more people like her! One night we locked our keys in our car, along with the house key. She and her husband arrived immediately to let us in. We would highly recommend any place of Shelly's to other travelers and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Loved It!

I recently spent a wonderful week at Shelly and Andy’s Civano property in Tucson. It was a delightful experience! The apartment is spotless and very well appointed with anything one might need. It is located in a fun, unique neighborhood where people are so friendly and helpful. The space is very private and quiet-a great place to relax and unwind. I can’t say enough about Shelly and Andy’s hospitality! It is second to none. They are so warm and welcoming-the kind of people you would want to be friends with for life. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the Tucson area! Laura M
