Birders retreat in El valle de Anton The Rufous motmot

Our casita sits at the bottom of the Gaital mountain - offers great birding and super views. 2 bedrooms /1 bath. We have WiFi, fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker. + inside washer/dryer and fans. This unique property has incredible gardens mineral tub straight out of the mountain. Super for birding from the beginner to the experienced. The center of town is minutes away and has restaurants, a fresh market-open daily, banks, El Rey grocery store, gym, pickle ball court. Many adventures to be had at places such as slot canyon, Hot Springs, serpentarium, butterfly area, Zoo, Zip line, etc.
The beaches are 45 minutes either direction off the Pan-American highway, one we recommend is the black sand beach at PALMAR right past the town of San Carlos. There is also Santa Clara, take a right at the Pan American highway and some 20 minutes later, you will see the signs for the left turn. Some restaurants you might like are Bruschetta’s, Angus burger, La divina, Casa de Lourdes, Doña Nella and more.
