Catherine or Philippe will welcome you upon appointment any day of the week so that you avoid the usual Saturday traffic jams in France (and/or enjoy better airfares).

Although we are pretty flexible, we simply ask that you check-in between 4-8pm.

The Blue Riviera 1-Bd apartment is located in the heart of Menton, France a small, lovely and quiet city on the famous French Riviera, between mountains and the Mediterranean sea, between Monaco (7 miles) and the Italian border (3 miles).

Conveniently located, you are within walking distance to shops & entertainment, the old historic district, the Cocteau Museum and the historic Market where you can purchase fresh fruits & vegetables every morning.

This non-smoking apartment is on the 3rd and last floor of a bourgeois building (w/lift) dated from the ā€œBelle Epoqueā€ period. From the balcony, donā€™t miss the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Being on the top level of #1652 Promenade du Soleil provides you with unequaled views of the shore, the Promenade and its palm trees.

The features of the blue Riviera apt are:

- a separate bedroom (140 cm large bed ).
To help you travel light, bed linens and shower towels are provided. During the season, beach towels are also provided. Professional cleaning fees will be asked for the linen (upon your arrival so you do not pay taxes on this amount). 2026 fare: ā‚¬130, cash only.

- a small but well equipped kitchen

- a livingroom with double exposure: South & West

- Air conditionning to cool down from the Summer heat

- WiFi (free of charge) to keep contact with your loved ones during your stay.

What a wonderful stay we had at Menton in this beautiful apartment. All the important things like the shower, air conditioning, the kitchen amenities, having beach towels supplied, were great. We also found the apartment to be perfectly located and despite being only two minutes walk away from the centre of town we found it to be very quiet. Best of all was the wow factor when you walked into the living room - perfect Riviera views from every window, and even the bedroom. The time we spent on the balcony was some of our most special memories of Menton.

A slice of Paradise

This was a lovely property with an awesome view of the Mediterranean. The apartment had everything we needed, including excellent air conditioning, which I think is a rarity in Menton. We would not hesitate to go back and stay in the same place for another week.

This is a great small apartment in a very central location in Menton. The furnishings and decor are complementary to the elegant period style of the rooms and building. Catherine, the manager who met us on arrival was very informative and gave some useful recommendations for the restaurants nearby. I have no hesitation recommending this property

What a view!!

As well as the view, the apartment is so well situated overlooking the beach with only the coast road inbetween.Restaurants, shops and bars are just behind the property.The apartment is comfortable and the small kitchen is well equipped.Wish we had stayed longer - maybe next time...David and Mary, Manchester UK

Superior access to dining, walking, gardens, market, train station, Old Town, and all that Menton has to offer. Place was perfect! Comfortable, open-air and beautiful views from the windows facing the sea. Communication with manager was timely, helpful, and thorough.

Once in a lifetime

We spent a week in Menton at this VRBO. we had planned to take side trips elsewhere byt we were so enthralled with this property that we did not want to go elsewhere. We could write pages on why we liked Menton, but this will focus on the property. The property idealy located. It has incredible views and very responsive management.

A Great Apartment

The location is first class with a south sea view to see sunrise as well as a west view to see the sunset. Even in January, with the balcony doors open the sun and warmth are exceptional.With the exception of a washing machine for our three week stay the apartment had everything we needed.

Wonderful Month in Menton

Property was well located across the road from the beach and close to shops restaurants and market. The free commuter bus stop is across the road and the No 600 bus was a short walk Airport bus No 80 is also a short walk.

Great apartment, excellent location

Lovely top floor apartment, light and airy and peaceful, even though it was right in the middle of town. Kitchen was very small, but had everything you needed. Lovely views of the beach from the living room, lovely to sit out on the on the balcony and watch the world go by. Very handy for shops, bars and restaurants.

Good as it gets!

Another lovely stay at our favorite spot in Menton. Itā€™s also the ā€œrestaurant with the best views,ā€ in our opinion, where you can sample the fresh local produce from the market and Atelier Boulanger. We made the climb up to the monastery, on Catherineā€™s suggestion, and the view was amazing. We would definitely come again at this time of year. Thanks again to hosts Catherine and Philippe!

We loved it

We loved our stay in Menton. The apartment was perfect for us; it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Catherine and Philippe were excellent hosts. We liked being able to walk to restaurants and shops. Catherine recommended JR Bistronomie and Lā€™Orangerie and both restaurants were excellent. We also found and loved Dogs and Coffee and Pizzeria 430. Several nights we picked up fresh food at the market down the street and made our own dinner. Favorite of all was having coffee on the balcony every morning overlooking the beautiful blue water. Perfect!

Airy apartment with lovely views over the Mediterranean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekā€™s vacation. There is no need for a car as restaurants and shops are close by and plenty of day trips are an easy bus or train ride away. The Moovit app is a great help to plan a route. The Atelier Boulanger has delicious bread and patisserie (perhaps too good!). Catherine and Phillipe are very knowledgeable hosts and provided a detailed guide book of local attractions.

Magic!!

First of all our hosts Catherine & Phillipe we very gracious,friendly, helpful and always available when needed. The apartment was just wonderful, very clean,well equipped, light and bright with wonderful views from every window.Restaurants,supermarket, fresh food market all within a couple of minutes walk. Then to top it off sitting on the balcony sipping the drink of your choice and looking out to sea is MAGIC! Then there is Menton a gorgeous old town port to explore.

A little it of heaven

A week in this heavenly little home by the sea was just not enough. We loved every day of our stay here. Our hosts seemed to cover everything and were available to us if we needed anything else. The spacious living room with a walk out to the balcony was a great place to unwind after a day touring this adorable city. The little kitchen was just enough to prepare a few meals and the bedroom held everything we brought with us. Comfy mattress, too! So, no complaints here. Just wish it were closer and I would travel back there again and again.

Memorable New Year's in Menton

New Year's in Menton was delightful!! The New Year's Eve parade was beautiful. Dining was delicious, and day trips to local sights, including Monaco, were easily accessible and fun! The oceanfront Blue Riviera apartment with breathtaking views of the coastline provided the perfect setting for our holiday visit. Catherine met us at the apartment and personally gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. She was extremely cordial and responsive whenever we needed help, and Philippe left a bottle of wine for us! We will definitely return to Menton, if possible, next year.

My husband and I are both from France. We have both lived in different places (throughout France for Philippe and in the USA for Catherine) before we met. We have decided to settle our family in Menton as Philippe is a mountains lover and I love warm sea water much better! Where else in the world can we bathe in warm turquoise sea water and look at the mountains? Menton is definitely the place!

We love the Blue Riviera Apartment because of its location. It is within walking distance to everything, in a small and lovely city full of History, between Monaco and Italy, in a charming building.
It's a gift to wake up in the morning, take a cup of coffee out to the balcony and watch the sun rises on the horizon or enjoy a glass of wine (French, of course!) or homemade lemonade (with Menton's famous lemons) sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves and watching palms trees and the turquoise blue Mediterranean.
