Located on picturesque grounds just a short walk from the beach, this comfortable private home is less than two miles from numerous attractions, including four world-class golf courses, the Port Royal Plaza Shopping Center, and the Northridge Cinema. Back on the property, nap in the screened-in deck, take a swim in the private pool, or fire up the gas grill for a barbecue.

Inside, the spacious living area is comfortably furnished with a 42” flatscreen TV with cable, brick fireplace, and a small library. Free WiFi is provided for hours of entertainment, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a French door refrigerator, modern appliances, and ample counter space for fixing all your favorite meals.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Very nice home. Owner did a good job of having the small things. The dishwasher had a broken pump, which was addressed within a day. The.pool was well kept and clean. House was comfortable and clean. A lot of towels, soap, kitchen utensils, etc. Close to the beach - easy walk. We would rebook.

Lovely Location, Pictures are Misleading

We loved how close this property is to the beach and that it is located in a quite community. The home itself is a good size and has the potential to be an incredible rental. Unfortunately, this rental has seen some heavy use and needs some attention / TLC. The pictures led me to believe the home's condition was excellent, but quite a few things here are damaged. Especially in the kitchen. But, like I said, fabulous location, loved the beach. The board walk is literally minutes away and the beach is private and stunning. Overall, we had a nice time here but if our stay had been longer than a few days, I would have found the issues to be prohibitive to a smooth stay.

Great location, house needs some love

The location is wonderful but the house needs some love. Only one tv in the house worked and the ac went out upstairs on the last day. The pool was not cleaned until after check in time and then we were told to not swim for the first day, which was what all of the kids planned on doing. The listing says there are 5 twin beds, but only 1 is an actual bed, the other 4 are window seat/beds, so only a child could sleep in them. The house is a short walk to the beach and the beach is not too crowded, which was great!

Great House, Great Location

The house was clean, roomy, and pet friendly. It is also gorgeous, yet comfortable. You don't feel like you are in someone else's million dollar plus home, you feel like you are in your own home. Located steps to the beach, along with the pool, makes this house a great get away. I didn't want to leave. Highly recommended!

The location is wonderful! Dead end street, short walk to beach and close to airport, restaurants, grocery etc. The pool is great when it does not have algae. I would change pool maintenance people!!

Great spacious home walking distance to the beach

The house accommodated two families with 5 kids total comfortably, including a table where we could all squeeze in together. The entrance to the beautiful beach was two blocks away (and then a path to the sand that was about another block). There was a beach cart and chairs provided - very convenient. The pool was very nice too. Everything worked great for us in the house. It is a large home and there’s the usual hard-to-clean spots, but in general the house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a great time and we would certainly rent this place again.

Poorly Maintained House

Check-in was no issue. However, the code for the beach gate was wrong and we had to wait all day for the correct code to access the beach. We wasted a whole day! Wi-Fi was very slow and the Hargrave technician did show up until three days later. He couldn’t fix the issue as the owners only pay for a min. Package at the lowest speed. So I had to go to Starbucks to download and stream my work. Then cockroaches showed up in the kitchen and bedroom. Huge ones! Unacceptable again! Outdoor and fixtures very old and poorly maintained. Not worth the money spent.

Intergenerational gem

Took an intergenerational family trip with ages ranging 5 to 83. The spaces were perfect for that set up. Checking in and out were simple and the property manager was very communicative and responsive. The property has everything you need including size and location, but it’s a bit tired with obvious but not-a-big-deal maintenance and cleaning issues. The turnover cleaning was fine, but those once a month type deeper cleanings definitely needed a more frequent rotation (dust, grime on high touch surfaces and faucets, hinges and doors off track/alignment, peeling/cracked wall finishes). The property manager took note and was willing to fix during our visit, but with a short stay we declined as they weren’t materially impacting our stay. Overall I’d still recommend this property.

Long HHI weekend

We spend a 4 day weekend in this home and had a blast. The kids loved the pool and the home was spacious and needs were comfortable. A bit dated and some small things in need of repair, but overall very nice accomodations and would stay again. A minor inconvenience is that the gate code to the beach wasn't working and we had to email to get another, but those sort of things are bound to happen from time to time.

4th time staying at this house

So this was our 4th time staying at the beautiful house.. but this time we didn't had a great time , as soon as we arrived we noticed that the pool was turning green and the stove wast working. So we call someone to try and solve the problem and we'll the stove , we left (arrived last Saturday so no stove for a week just a small counter top electric stove that they gave us that wouldn't even be hot enough to make breakfast for our 5 kids ) morning and still wasn't working & the pool well our kids didn't get in till Wednesday around noon. So in other words we wasn't able to enjoy the pull for the first 4 days , it was kinda of a deal breaker for our kids !

Excellent home

Our weekend stay in Hilton head was perfect. This house had everything we needed and then some. Clean, and fully loaded. The house was stunning, plenty of room and pet friendly. We have saved this house for our next stay in Hilton Head.
