Amazing property. Sold my business and retired in 2008. My wife and I have traveled all over the U. S., Europe, Asia, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America. We always use VRBO and without a doubt this was the best overall rental we have ever experienced. From the incredible views from the porches and decks and living areas to the phenomenal attention to details one needs while traveling, its truly perfect. There is nothing i could think of to help improve a stay here. The ease of working with the owner and the location so made us not want to leave we even booked an extra night. Could go on and on. We loved this cabin and will be back.

Relax and Revive

I would highly recommend staying in this lovely home. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds and bedding were very high quality and so very comfortable. The family room was very cozy. We enjoyed sitting by the gas logs on the chilly nights & mornings while we were there. The screened porch and deck off of the main level offered an amazing view of the mountains. We will definitely rent this again in the fall!

50 year Appalachian Trail reunion

This property was awesome! The home is warm and welcoming. It was fully and tastefully furnished with everything you need for a mountain get away. The views from both porches were breathtaking. Everything was top of the line from the comfortable beds and linens to a fully equipped kitchen. Jackson went above and beyond to communicate about the house and surrounding area. We will return.

An amazing experience!

This house was perfect for our large family. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and they had everything, and more, we could have needed. Jackson and Teddie went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They communicated beforehand with tutorials on the hot tub, fire pit and locks which was so helpful to just get in and start relaxing. There was plenty of space for kids and adults to gather together and apart. The game room downstairs was a hit with everyone. The neighborhood had a gate which helped us feel safe and it was very quiet. It really felt like a home away from home. The house is one of our favorite we have stayed at.

We were four golfers there for four days of golf, and the accommodations were perfect. We each had a beautiful spacious bedroom with 3 full bathrooms. I have never seen a property that was as well appointed as "MTN JOY" was. Anything and everything you could want or need, from a variety of types of coffee, full compliment of dishware. One of our members needed band aides, and there they were. The property was very clean and organized with great taste, even had a day bed on the screened in porch where one guest slept some at night. Stunning views of the mountains and very private and quiet in a gated community. If you need to stay in this area you definitely owe it to yourself to check this one out. We will be back next year and hope to add another day. Can't say enough great things about "MTN JOY"
