Amazing location - 50 yards from the ocean

4BR/2BA - would not fit 10 but prob 5. It was perfect for me & my husband. The location was amazing not only from the beach but to anything else that you wanted to do or go to! Walk to FishHeads for lunch or dinner. First time in OBX but won’t be the last!

Great Location- OK Amenities

The location of this property was perfect, with stunning views from the front deck. We had a wonderful time on the beach, which was gorgeous. The house however, needs some work. Upon arriving, the house was dirty with food crumbs on the floor/counters and hand print smears on the dining table. There were dead bugs on the floors, and all of the windows were filthy. The vacuum was left in the middle of the hallway and there were cleaning supplies left out also. We spent the first couple hours cleaning, unsure if it had actually been cleaned prior to us arriving. I also found old clothing in dresser drawers and blankets just thrown on the floor in the closets. The coffee machine did not work, which meant we had to go out every morning and buy coffee- an expense we weren’t planning on. The toilets did not flush properly, and the shower was completely clogged and filled with hair, and wouldn’t drain! (So gross) After calling the rental company several times without hearing back, my husband fixed/unclogged the shower himself. The furniture is outdated and some of it broken. The screen door leading out to the deck was also broken. Overall we had a great time and did not let the negative aspects of the house ruin our trip. We were however, extremely disappointed in the house and care given to it. The cleaning crew, if there even is one, does a terrible job. This is the first time renting through VRBO with a cleaning job done so poorly.

Great location, run-down house

I can't not say enough about the great location - great view of ocean from deck and just a few steps from the beach. Close to lots of great food and shopping. The house itself was VERY disappointing. The A/C didn't work well, the toilets didn't work well, the furniture was dingy and on and on. If you can look past all that, go for it.

Wonderful Relaxing Stay!

Awesome location - listened to the ocean from our very comfortable bed every night. Very comfortable and cute house. The kitchen was stocked with just about everything we needed to prepare a complete Thanksgiving dinner for 4. Remember to bring your own linens and towels if you don’t opt to upgrade, but if you forget, the property management company was super helpful and responsive. We will absolutely stay here again.

Cute house, but needs to be cleaned better.

We really thought the house was cute, but We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of it. I had to wash every dish before I used it, because they were dirty. I found used towels in the two of the bedrooms and I immediately swept and vacuumed the house when I arrived. Whoever they use to clean the house in between customers is not doing the best job. The positives are that it has great access to the beach, it is close to a pier that serves food and drinks and the house is actually very cute!:)

Mediocre at best

Upon arrival cleaning tools were left in the middle of the kitchen along with a pile of dirt, vacuum was left in the middle of the hallway so no idea if house was even cleaned after last renters, description said it was newly updated for this year kitchen is old and needs new appliances coffee maker was broken dishwasher was also broken, also description said there were 2 kayaks to for your use they were non existent also.... location is great but definitely needs a new cleaning company and rental company and an honest description
