Beautiful efficiency condo 1 block from breathtaking Sunset Beach

Recently renovated first floor studio with king bed and large chair with ottoman. Kitchen has a large refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Bathroom has shower. Sorry, this unit is no longer pet friendly! The Continental Condominiums offers our guests cozy, individually owned units that are managed as vacation rentals available for short-term as well as off-season monthly stays. Located on Sunset Beach and just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean allows for a simple walk to the Sunset Beach Pier for fishing, or just to spend the day on the area s finest beach strand. When you are done at the beach, enjoy our outdoor pool for a lap or two (mid-April through late-September based on the weather). You ll find a local market and shops next door to us. Wi-Fi available, On-site Shared Laundry Facility, Grills located on site for cooking that fresh caught fish.

Parking is limited - 1 parking pass provided per unit.
Golf carts and boat trailers are not permitted at the Continental Motel.

Great location, very clean, perfect for a weekend trip.

We really enjoyed staying here, everything was perfect. Location is very close to the beach and central. The area and unit felt very safe. AC was great. Kitchen was well equipped. Overall a great experience staying in Sunset Beach.

The staff in the office at check-in were quite friendly and super helpful!! It was a keyless room, so that was great!! This condo was the perfect place for our weekend getaway! My daughter & I had everything we needed in the room and a very short walk to the beach! We will certainly be back!!

Loved it!

Last min get away for my husband and I for our 2 year anniversary! It was so nice and cozy! 2 min walk from beach & the pier. & the pool was also cool and refreshing!! Def will be back with the kids next time

Just across from the beach path, just 2 minute walk to the beach.Property managemant office across the street.15 min to Calabash seafood restaraunts. 3 stores located next door or across the street.5 minutes to grocery store.Condo is simple, small but plenty of room for us. Has all kitchen items needed, nice stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, etc.2nd time in this unit. Nice city park nearby too!

Great location

We really enjoyed our time this weekend. It was a great location and we had a lot of fun. Its just like the pictures and great for a little getaway. The guy in the coffee shop across the street gave us some great recommendations for things to do nearby. I will say signing a lease to stay is a little intimidating but we didn't have any issues. Also if cleanliness is something that bothers you I would not reconsider. The bedding had stains and the floors had sand and pretzels from the previous vacationers. For the location and price we would definitely stay again.

Location was key for the cost. Bathroom needs updating. Shower head very low. Bathroom area outdated

Good location near beach. No closets to hang clothes. Pillows old and flat. Smoke detector was sitting on drawers. In the middle of our stay, an exterminator supposedly couldn't be rescheduled, so we came back that night with sheets and comforter thrown about. Even the note on the fridge said " congratulations if you're reading this you were able to get into the room" The door key lock was difficult.

Not a condo

This is not a condo. It is a old hotel room with a kitchen. The bed was full of sand so there is no way the sheets were clean. It had no permanent hvac. Instead it had a portable AC unit sitting in the middle of the floor that vented out a front window that could not be locked. The window had a bench right in front of it outside and other guest smoked cigarette ms and pot all night on the bench that we could smell because the window has a vent hose running out of it and can’t be closed all the way or locked. The portable AC was loud and did not cool the room. I have photos of the AC unit and the vent hose out the window. Don’t stay here expecting a condo or what you see in the photos. It is not a accurate representation of what it really is. We left a night early. Will not be staying here again.

A condo?

Well I had Hope's. I answered an ad for a condo and then two days before check in found out it was a motel. The ceilings had water stains the curtains in the bathroom were full of mold/mildew. The tea pot had water in it that had floating things in it and was told they were doing extra cleaning for covid really? Plus side Bed was comfortable. And it was close to the beach.

Great location, however the inside could have been cleaner. The AC filter was extremely filthy as well as the refrigerator. But for a couple of nights it was doable.

This unit is dated

The unit was very dated with its furnishings. The unit was also very dirty. My wife had to buy cleaning supplies and scrub the whole unit before she would stay there. She mopped the floor 4 times on the first day and the water was very filthy.

Mid-nite annoyance

The place was great with the exception of someone doing laundry at 2 AM. The laundry machines abutt one wall of the condo and the noise can be heard clearly.
