Casa Cerro Verde is a 6BR / 6.5BA mountain villa for 6–16 guests, including two private casitas, located in the mountains of Alajuela just 25 minutes from SJO. Nestled in coffee country, it offers sweeping Central Valley views with a 200+ degree panorama stretching from Barva, Turrialba, and Irazú volcanoes to Cabo Blanco in the Nicoya Peninsula. Enjoy an infinity plunge pool-jacuzzi, sunset patios, yoga deck, A/C, Wi-Fi, gated parking, and an optional private chef.



The Space:

Sip local coffee on the patio. Enjoy a hot tub soak overlooking the twinkling lights of the Central Valley. Less than 30 minutes from downtown San Jose, we are located on the route to Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, coffee plantation tours – including the new Starbucks sustainable coffee farm - and the closest beaches are 75 minutes away.



Casa Cerro Verde features: Main House: 4 Bedrooms, 3 with Queen beds and 1 with Twin Bunk Beds. Each bedroom has its own Full Bathroom with Shower, plus a 1/2 bath off the Living Room.



Main area features fireplace, 64-inch flat screen, cable, telephone, free WiFi, outdoor patio, Yoga deck, chef upon request, and tour information and reservations available. Yoga and Meditation Mats available and massage can be arranged with notice.



Just outside the front door are 2 independent Studio Apartments (Cabinas), each with 1 Queen Bed, Full Bathroom, and Living Area. These Studio Apartments each have a front sitting area with amazing views of the twinkling lights of the city below.



The impressive Infinity Plunge Pool Jacuzzi allows you to soak in the cool mountain air and have magnificent views of the Central Valley.



We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights:



I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob

I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination

I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists

I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay

I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines

The Neighborhood:

If you want privacy and seclusion, this is your dream house. The location is on a quiet street just outside the small community of Pilas. A long dirt driveway takes you to the front gate entrance and guard house. Once the main gate is open, you enter into a world of gardens and serenity overlooking the city of Alajuela. There are no neighbors close to the house so it's the ultimate in privacy.

A Car is recommended but not required.
