Family friendly, 4BR condo. Walking distance to slopes, hot tub & town shuttle!

This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo features a fully equipped kitchen, a walk out balcony off the living room, cable with HBO and Chromecasts on all 5 LED flat screen TV's along with upgraded secure WiFi. Enjoy your winter evenings by the wood burning fireplace with free firewood conveniently located on the main floor of the building. There are two master suites with king beds and private bathrooms. The third guestroom has twin-sized bunk beds and an additional twin bed (3 beds twin beds total). There are two twin beds in the fourth bedroom. This condo would be wonderful for two families with kids that want to vacation together and save! There is a shared, coin-operated washer/dryer located on second floor. This is a top floor corner unit & is located directly across from the heated pool, sauna, & Jacuzzi which can be seen from both master bedroom windows. It is very quiet on the top floor with no one above you, and there are no condos adjoining any of the walls.

Our condo is approximately 500 yards from the lifts- a short 6 minute walk or you may prefer to hop on the free bus that stops just steps from our building's front door. You can also catch the free Mountain Express Shuttle every 15 minutes to the historic town of Crested Butte located just minutes from our condo.

Fly into the Gunnison/Crested Butte Airport, just 30 miles down the road from Crested Butte. Car rentals are available at the airport, though many guests allow the Alpine Express Shuttle to do the driving.

Crested Butte was recently voted Best Ski Town in North America by Powder Magazine. Incredibly diverse terrain coupled with low on-mountain traffic makes Crested Butte ideal for anyone from families to extreme skiers. Crested Butte is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts with some of the best hiking, biking and skiing in the world. There is also no shortage of rock climbing, rafting, fishing, and camping. In addition to all the activities in and around Crested Butte, there are many wonderful restaurants and great shopping! Newcomers quickly figure out this is the real deal. A spot to relax and unwind or seek and adrenaline rush. You will love it here!

Comfortable and clean 4 bedroom unit steps to shuttle. Quiet top floor unit. Well appointed kitchen - could use a sharper knife. Owner responsive to inquiries. Also used BabyQuip to deliver crib and highchair for the stay - super convenient.

We were two families with 2 teenage boys each for a total of 8. Location was amazing. There’s a shuttle, but we just walked to the lift. The place itself was fine, but it needs a once over to address some minor things. Some bowls and plates are chipped, there was no salt or pepper, we couldn’t figure out which remotes worked the televisions, except for the living room one, one of the dining room chairs is broken, the games were all missing pieces so we couldn’t play them and one of the bathroom lights needs to be looked at. The beds were comfortable, this place is older, but comfortable, the hot tub was nice (although very popular and busy), we had enough towels, the showers were good and the couches were also comfortable. Overall, our trip went well and we enjoyed the extras this condo offered.

Great location for group

Older property but had everything we needed. Close to slopes, shuttle, hot tub and pool. Had a smoke detector that ran out of batteries and they responded quickly.

Great location

The condo was in a great location - super convenient to ski and easy access to the downtown shuttles. 2 spacious king master suites and the other rooms are great for kids or non couples. The hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful! Would definitely recommend this condo and would rent again!

Great stay with a great location

My family and close friends enjoyed New Year's week in Crested Butte! This condo served as the perfect location for skiing, snow shoeing and cross country skiing. The hot tub/pool was a nice retreat after skiing for the day. The shuttle was quite convenient. We sometimes walked to/from the slope and sometimes rode the shuttle if it was waiting. The condo had a nice view of the picturesque town.

Very happy with this unit

We really enjoyed this comfortable condo with cozy wood fireplace! The property managers were very responsive and quickly answered our questions and requests. We would definitely rent this unit again.

This is a nice condo with enough beds for everyone- there were 9 of us! We enjoyed being able to visit the hot tub, warmed up with the fireplace and jumped on the bus for a quick trip to the ski slopes. This place is located very conveniently near the slopes! The shuttle bus comes every 15 minutes-super handy! My family and I had a great time in Crested Butte and would visit again.

Very nice condo for a family get together

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. We would recommend it. The only slight criticism I have is that it was a little light in the towel department, both kitchen towels and bath towels in the shared bathroom. We filled the condo to your maximum and there just weren't enough. Luckily we brought a few. We had a lovely three days and could really relax and enjoy our family wedding.

Spacious and good location

We enjoyed our stay, however, we were not given more than one garbage sack for the kitchen and the sink in one of the bathrooms had a broken stopper so the water would back up right away. We called the maintenance number with no response. It was very nice to have all the extras in the kitchen like some spices, etc. The layout of the rooms and bathrooms was great.

Hiking trip

Overall property needs some updating. Your condo fit our need, especially the two master bedrooms. We had no pr oblems with the condo, but the stairs were challenging for senior citizens from Phoenix. Bus stop within 100 feet of condo was much appreciated

Excellent Location

The Chateaux has always been our favorite, and this 4 BR unit was perfect for 3 families - including 5 adults and 4 kids from 5 to 11 years old. Loved being right next to the pool, and just steps from the bus stop. Great access to the mountain right across the street.

Great family friendly condo!

Wood fireplace was awesome, paired with a full length balcony, and steps away from the bus or 7 minute walk to the lifts just can't be beat! Only complaint was the smaller capacity hot tub, but just means get to be friendly with other guests! The sauna at the club house was on point too!

Convenient Condo; Fits Our Needs

We were 2 families with 8 people for a ski trip during spring break. We were happy with the condo, its location and overall condition. It was great to find a condo where each of us can get our own bed and not have someone sleeping on a sofa couch in the living room. We also liked the fact that the unit is on the top floor, although it did took several trips up and down the stairs to haul in our stuff. The bus to the slopes stops right outside and the ride only takes about 5 min. Would definitely recommend this place if you have a big group and want to be close to the slopes.

Great time!

We had a great time at this property. The bus came so often that we would just wait for the bus rather than walk to town. It was really convenient and a close location. We thought the hot tub would be crowded but we always had an opportunity to have our family in there. Overall we had a fantastic time and the property is extremely well kept up!

Great stay at a perfect location in CB

Our group of eight was very comfortable in this four bedroom condo located about five minutes walking distance to the Crested Butte resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the accommodations were perfect for our group. The free shuttle that stops outside the unit was very convenient and made for an easy transfer to the ski resort. We also enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. I would recommend bringing your own towel for this as there are not enough towels provided for both bathing and swimming. Otherwise, the kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here and would consider a return visit in the future.

Multi family stay

Our family enjoyed a lovely 4th of July weekend in CB! This apartment is located right near the bike/walking path and shuttle to town, which made it easy to go to Main Street for the farmers market, to get groceries and coffee, and to play at the park. With four bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a kitchen with all the appliances & utensils, it was a nice stay for our multi family holiday. The kids and adults alike loved the firework show (great view from the apartment parking lot), hiking, biking and the wild flower festival. Thank you for opening your mountain home to us!

Great location at Crested Butte

The condo was comfortable and convenient. There is no need to drive once you are there. The condo is located near the ski lift and mountain base. We walked to the mountain base area in the evening, but it is a bit far for comfortable walking with skis. There is a reliable shuttle that runs every 15 minutes between the condo property and the ski lift and we made good use of it. The shuttles are also convenient to take you to the town of Crested Butte which is too far to walk. The condo is comfortably equipped and we enjoyed our stay. We cooked most nights and found that the kitchen was well equipped. The owners were very accommodating. I made an error in the booking dates and Jenna and Pablo were prompt and attentive in correcting the reservation. Two suggestions for the owners, both minor: There are plenty of knives in the kitchen, but none were very sharp. A knife sharpener would be a nice addition to the kitchen. Soap and shampoo in the bathrooms would also be a nice convenience. I know that soap and shampoo is not required, but it only costs a couple of bucks and most places in this price range supply them.

Overall, we loved staying in this condo!

It was in an awesome location. We had a family of 8 and this condo was very comfortable for all of us. There was a great collection of movies and games which really helped keep the little ones and us entertained. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We utilized the shuttle to the mountain, but also walked a few times. The owners were wonderful to work with. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Pablo and Jenna!

This is a great property in a fabulous location with fun amenities.

My family (4 adults and 3 children) really enjoyed our time at this Chateaux condo. The size and layout of the condo was perfect and it was clean and well-maintained. It is located just a short walk from the base of the mountain which made it great for access to kid summer camps, activities, and restaurants. In addition, the free Crested Butte shuttle stops right outside the building. Our kids *loved* riding the bus into town for meals, the public park, and especially ice cream at The Third Bowl. The pool, hot tub, and foosball table were a big hit as well. We would definitely stay here again!
