Amazing property with good communication

I enjoyed the stay at Marival. Carrie was great at making sure I had all the information needed to have a great trip - especially given the uncertainty of international travel. Highly recommended!

Good Spring Break Location

Clean, nice, safe. The food was good, bordering on very good. Drinks are watered down but good and it was perfect for a bunch of 18yr olds. Pools are nice but beach accommodations are wonderful. Drink service on the beach is superb. Our host, Carrie, was great at communicating and answered all our questions. Rooms are very large and all have nice views.

Fabulous, relaxing holiday

We loved staying at the Marival Residences! We spent most of our time either beachside or poolside (in both places the servers offering food/drinks were kind and friendly.). The suite was wonderful and huge. Loved the food at Insu (small plates) as well as the killer sunset view. Carrie is a fantastic and responsive host! We really appreciated our VIP status when it came to being able to access pool and beach cabanas. Would definitely go back!

Highly recommend!

This was a great way to book this property and would recommend going through a member. We loved all the extra perks with the platinum plus. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom penthouse upon checkin and took advantage of booking an excursion with no extra cost. One thing to note is that you need to know the extra perks and ask for them since there are different packages at the resort. The service here was great throughout our entire visit and the two bedroom was perfect four our family of 5.

Just book it!

Wow, we had the absolutely best time staying at Carrie’s property at Marival Distinct. Carrie was extremely responsive and accommodating prior to the trip, and even when we had some flight issues. Our kids LOVED kids club, we loved the beach cabanas, the food at the restaurants is super high quality (will be craving those tuna tostadas forever), the employees are lovely and helpful, and the overall experience was 10/10. It was nice to have the extra perks using Carrie’s membership. We will 100% book here again. Thank you Carrie!

Great room and Host

We initially booked the hotel through the hotels site, but then searching VRBO I found a better room with more amenities for a lower price through VRBO. We easily canceled our hotel reservation and booked a better room through our host, Carrie Hodgson. She always responded to all my questions and concerns through email and listed all the extras that we would be able to take advantage of because we booked through her. We saved hundred of dollars and were able to enjoy more that the hotel had to offer us because we were technically “members” for the week we were there. Carrie even had the hotel leave us a couple nice surprises in our room when we returned to our room on different days. The luxury ocean view room was terrific for the three of us. Our 16 year old son had his own room and bathroom. The staff was super friendly at the hotel. Our experience was really enhanced because we chose to book through Carrie and VRBO. I definitely can recommend our host and the hotel, Marival Distinct Residences. Thank you Carrie Hodgson🙂❗️

Wonderful Staff & Beautiful Resort

We had a wonderful five night stay, in a luxuriously spacious room. We upgraded to the three bedroom, and lucked out that the fourth bathroom was extra large and fit the crib, so Mom and Dad even got their own room. With very few exceptions, the service was superb, and the food was delicious. If you can make sure to be there over a Friday night, the Italian food at Omaggio was some of the best we've had in ages. So glad I booked through Carrie, she was so wonderfully helpful with all of my questions, and the platinum membership perks were fantastic!

Amazing time

We booked our stay at the Marival through Carrie and we were so pleased with how smooth everything went and how amazing the property was! Carrie was very helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. Check in was easy, they do try to convince you to meet with them to hear the sales pitch, but we declined. They were reasonable and didn't push too much, and if we had more time we may have actually done it because they were offering some nice perks for taking part. Our room was upgraded to a 3 bedroom (we booked 2) and we had the most amazing view and wraparound deck on the 5th floor! The food is high quality, the service is wonderful, definitely eat breakfast at the beach club and go up to Insu for sunset - the food there is delicious and you cannot beat the view!! Our only slight disappointment was that the pools were a bit too deep for our 5 year old to touch and they were a little small. For toddlers they are great with some nice shallow areas. We also used the kids club on a couple occasions and our kids loved it and we enjoyed some time to relax as well. The free room service was a great perk...overall it's a beautiful property and I would definitely recommend booking through Carrie!
