SECLUDED SAG HARBOR COTTAGE w/ HUGE POOL

The rental is for the entire property.

This is a real country cottage - renovated with cathedral-style ceilings with finished exposed beams, clean all white interior, hardwood floors, with large skylights and screened-in porch!

The huge 30'+ x 40'+ L-shaped pool has a 10-foot deep end, diving board, and water slide.

Located just a mile from Main Street Sag Harbor and at the end of a private driveway the fenced-in 200 x 100 foot property is far from any roads and offers complete privacy.

Two bedrooms, one bath, a large kitchen/dining/living area, and a screened-in porch.

A separate a guest "bungalow" with sliding glass door, four double-hung windows, a ceiling fan, and full size futon bed is a third "bedroom" or can double as an office or studio (shown in last three photos). The bungalow provides a quiet and beautifully private space for teleworking or to hold online meetings.

Huge yard - an over-sized hammock and picnic table, Weber grill, lawn/pool furniture and a lot of room to play complement the large swimming pool.

Walking/biking distance to Sag Harbor Village (1 mile) and Long Beach, 10-minute drive (5 miles) to ocean beaches.

W/D, DW, WIFI, Cottage is also handicap accessible. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Relaxation!

Our time in this cottage was absolute bliss! Beautiful pool, quiet neighborhood, even some visits from deer! Town is close by and the property is so secluded you have tons of privacy. Most relaxing vacation we have taken.

Great pool, location

This property has an amazing location, and we enjoyed our stay. The pool is wonderful, but the home is very bare bones (we had to purchase paper towels, hand soap, etc). It definitely has a rustic, camp-like feel, but if you're ok with that, it's worth the stay. We also had a dog, so the fenced in yard was a treat!

4th of July

Great location with amazing pool! Evan was just a pleasure to work with. He was very kind and assisted us with getting some great reservations at 2 nice restaurants. Evan was very quick with all responses to a few issues and was great to help them to get resolved. I would definitely rent from Evan again.

My two friends and I had a lovely stay at this cottage. The pool is divine and Evan communicates so well! We had a plumbing issue and he sent out people to fix it within the hour. It's a 7 minute drive to Main Street and plenty of taxis and Ubers abound if you don't feel like driving. It's very secluded and quiet. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

This is an older property and like stepping back in time...postively rustic! Nice owners, responsive and available by text or phone. I was assisting an elderly author with his book, so for him the property was ideal.

Extremely Relaxing Escape from NYC

We had a great time in a lovely space. Evan was very hospitable and always within reach. We spent the majority of time enjoying the large pool and we loved the trampoline too. Sag Harbor is within walking distance and the walk is quite scenic as well. We barbecued twice a day on the expansive property. We hope to return.

We have been taking for granted the beauty of that walk from our cottage into the Village of Sag Harbor, particularly passing by the historic homes along Main Street, and the picture-perfect Mashashimuet Park and Otter Pond. Thanks for reinvigorating our appreciation of that beautiful walk! And thank you for taking such loving care of our little hideaway, we would love to have you and your family back next summer!

Original, authentic cottage in lovely, private area

The owner was as helpful as possible. Communication and kindness was wonderful. Although we had some issues with accessibility, the owner followed through with solid communication and tried to resolve things. The cottage is so special and beautifully done. Nature is all around-- offering beauty and privacy. Dog friendly to boot! 5 stars !

Incredible! Stayed in October Everything was clean and in great shape. This house surpassed our expectations. The pool was magnificent and sitting in the enclosed front porch every morning with a cup of coffee, listening to the beautiful sounds of nature was what we needed. My husband and our boys had the most wonderful stay! From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking to relax and be surrounded by nature and privacy. The total fenced in property put me at ease with our boys, so they were allowed to roam the yard. The location was perfect, close to everything. The hosts who felt like family were extremely responsive and friendly, answering any questions and provided us with recommendations for dinner, beaches and anything local. Downtown Sag Harbor is a quaint and charming waterfront village; we loved the stores and the waterfront walk. We can’t wait to stay again next year!

Best host that is out there and the best pool!

Evan is on of the nicest people anyone can interact with! I will be going back to his house for years. He is prompt, responsive, sweet, helpful and caring. The cottage is cute and practical, pool is fantastic and large, neighbors are lovely and its 30 min walking distance to village. We appreciated every minute we spent there!

It was a such a pleasure renting our cottage hideaway to Petek! Petek is the kind of person that exemplifies the joy experienced when interacting with genuinely good people. Petek left the cottage spotlessly clean. We only rent our cottage for a limited portion of the summer season. We would welcome Petek back again anytime and recommend her highly to any potential home owner seeking to rent.

July 4th Weekend

I stayed with a small group of friends for 4 nights over the 4th of July and we had a great time. The property is private and is in a great location close to Sag. Evan and Darlene were outstanding hosts. They were accommodating and communicative throughout. The house, pool, and yard were all clean and in great condition when we arrived. The highlight was the outdoor area and pool, where we were able to grill, swim, and enjoy the spacious yard. Would definitely stay again!
