Jungle & Ocean View Studio Apartment w Resort Amenities

Our newest accommodation consists of of four well appointed studio apartments on two floors. Casa Verde is for those travelers interested in having their own private space, while still enjoying all the amenities of a resort. Our kitchenette is equipped to prepare small meals, with 5 of our restaurants across the street. Casa Verde is positioned near the top of our 25 acre lushly landscaped and jungled property.

Two apartments are on each floor, with connecting balconies between which can be opened or closed for privacy. Monkeys swing in the trees overhead and sloths hang above you, with coatis, toucans and macaws to entertain you. At night and early morning, you will hear the roar of the howler monkeys through the jungle.

The two UPSTAIRS spacious studio apartments feature breezy ocean and jungle views, 800 sq ft of living space, two queen beds, a sofa set and a ten foot wide balcony with an outdoor living space and kitchenette. The two DOWNSTAIRS efficiency apartments have a partial ocean view, 600 sq ft of living space, two queen beds, a spacious ten foot wide balcony with an outdoor kitchenette and sitting area for relaxing and up close monkey watching. Please let me know if you prefer no stairs, easy access on the first floor. Great for families with small children.

These 4 units have their own common area, a large covered Rancho for relaxing, having meals and enjoying the wildlife. These units can be rented individually or all together as a single house for families, groups and people wanting to socialize in a private setting.

Two Queen beds in each unit make accommodations for up to 16 guests, in total. There are 3 pools on property, one is ADULT ONLY, with a pool bar and the most spectacular sunsets in Costa Rica. Daily housekeeping, free wifi, bilingual reception desk staff, restaurant on property, free parking, free wifi and still more monkeys than people.

The walk to the closest A Area pool is about 250 meters, and a short walk to many restaurants and stores. The white sand beach is a short 10 minute walk ( but uphill on the way home ) Manuel Antonio Park is a 10 min bus or taxi ride away, as is Marina Pez Vela, Zip Lines, RainMaker Park, Monkey Mangrove Tour, Waterfalls, ATV Jungle excursions and the world famous AVION restaurant. The apartment had a beautiful view off of the back balcony and was in a lovely jungle setting. The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean. There are a few things I would love to see improved: 1. The kitchen is not well-equipped. It had a few pots and pans but not even basic spices like salt or sugar. There were 2 splenda packets included with the coffee grounds, but no sugar. There were metal pans with metal handles but no pot holders. There were also no cleaning cloths or sponges which we could use to clean off the counter (only a couple of white kitchen towels - but not something I felt like I should clean up coffee with. 2. The lovely bathtub on the balcony could have been an amazing experience, but it heated to a maximum of 27 degrees celcius (80 degrees farenheit). That's not a bath temperature. It's the temperature of an average swimming pool. Overall the location was great, and the balcony view was nice. With a couple of improvements, I believe this would be a 5 star property.

Lovely lovely place! We were well taken care of.Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The view from the adult pool deck was phenomenal. We lacked privacy in our location so kept curtains drawn when indoors. The outdoor seating area was nice with a lovely view.

Beautiful property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The view was phenomenal. We loved sitting out on the balcony and having monkeys visit us daily. The AC was strong and there were more than enough outlets. We saw as much wildlife on the property as we did in Manuel Antonio national park. The property was extremely clean and had everything we needed to prepare a few light meals. The grounds of the property were well maintained as well. It also felt extremely safe. You only have to worry about the monkeys taking things! It is conveniently located to several restaurants as well. We were able to walk to breakfast and dinner on several occasions. I highly recommend staying here, and my children are already asking when we can return.

The room was very nice and well furnished. We saw lots of monkeys, toucan's, macaws, all from the back deck. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We had a great time.

Nature lovers dream with resort amenities

This property has something for everyone in our family. Stunning views from the deck with comfy rocking chairs and hammock. My son is a bird watcher and saw 2 new ā€œlifersā€ by simply hanging out on the deck. Resort amenities like an adults only pool / bar area and multiple restaurants within walking distance was appealing to me and my husband. We saw monkeys and a sloth and Scarlett Macaws and more just by walking the trails of Costa Verde. They also had laundry service and parking and more. The AC was so nice, and comfy beds, full pressure shower. Couldnā€™t ask for more. After staying in more rustic accommodation for birding tours, this was aa luxury retreat for us!

Awesome resort close to the National Park!

Absolutely beautiful place with breathtaking views of both jungle and ocean. Room was spacious and nice with beautiful woodworking. Pools, restaurants close by. Anaconda cafe so fun in morning with monkeys trying to steal your food. One of our favorite places we stayed in Costa Rica!

Wonderful property!

Great location a short drive to Manuel Antonio park! Restaurants were wonderful. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Pools and grounds beautiful. Monkeys galore and a sloth or two were seen. Highly recommend to couples and families.

Great resort

The resort is absolutely wonderful! Lots of amenities, pools, restaurants, and a great location. The room is a little bit dated, but still very nice. We had daily visitors from the monkeys, which was amazing! My last interaction with Faith, the manager online, was very disappointing. She was very rude and I was thankful that she was not part of the resort when I got there. Donā€™t let her keep you from renting. The people of Costa Rica are very welcoming and kind!

Great views from house and all over the property. Several good restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed the deck with a cup of coffee each morning. So close to an amazing beach.

Wonderful

Our stay at Costa Verde was everything we hoped it to be. It was quiet, beautiful, and lots of wildlife to entertain us. The restaurants, all within easy walking distance were great, with lots of choices. The view from our patio/balcony was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everything about our week at Costa Verde was top notch. Pura Vida!

Wonderful stay in Manuel Antonio!

The space was just as described--clean and neat, amazing view, and close to all Manuel Antonio attractions. The property is so fun with all the monkeys swinging from the trees. The pools were great in the heat. Especially loved the coffee shop/bakery in walking distance from our room. Would definitely come again. Thank you!

Lovely location

The property was lovely. Beautiful and good location for visiting Manuel Antonio Park. The room we stayed in on the property wasnā€™t my favorite- noisy neighbors and close to a busy path- but the property offered many options. The booking was confusing. We were actually booking a separate listing than pictured above but it was unclear because the correspondence kept including the above description. Finally figured it out. In addition, one of our requested nights became unavailable, I was told there wasnā€™t a listing available that night, and when I found a room and booked directly, the property manager became annoyed. I support VRBO, but this was the most confusing booking process I have experienced. Regardless, still a lovely place

Great location for monkey watching

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and comfortable but the best thing is the huge balcony with hot tub rockers and recliner. We spent most of our time on it when not exploring the area. We saw loads of monkeys and birds up close every day. The property is close to the bars and restaurants and bakery, bit of a walk to the pools which were all very nice and clean. Parking right outside and close to bus stop. A little bit of noise from the road but not enough to spoil are stay. Would recommend to others.
