Great all around vacation!

We stayed over Christmas and New Year’s! It was honestly one of our best family vacations! Clean, spacious, great pool, close to town, just what we needed. The whole process was very easy and any questions we had before and during our stay were answered promptly! Thanks for everything!

Had a blast!

My family and I stayed there for a week and had the best time! Pool, car, entertainment, and location were wonderful, especially the pool table and ping pong. My 3 teenagers loved the house and we could not have been happier. Thank you Carole for your hospitality and we will definitely be back!!

Wonderful location, beautiful property and views!

Just stayed with my husband and 3 kids. It was centrally located to all things Exuma. Cherry the property manager was so sweet. The views were amazing. We would definitely stay at Exuma Villa again! We rented a car and did plenty of food shopping, all very manageable. Cheers!

Perfect Home for the Whole Family

We absolutely loved the house! Such cute character! The pool was awesome for our four kids ages 8-17 (and us). We were able to pack up or make dinner while they enjoyed the pool. The owners and their property managers were amazing and very attentive/responsive. The location is perfect! Beautiful view, easy to get to marina, beaches and restaurants. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Second stay at Exuma Villa !

This was a our second stay as the we also had a larger group for this years visit & the house was perfect for us again. Clean, great view & nice to have a fresh water pool after all day in the salt water. Carol was great as usual & always available & full of info. Location is great, close to everything & all paved roads ! We come every summer since 1994 & We would certainly stay there again when we need to sleep up to 8 people !

Ideal Location with Great View

Hilltop Villa was perfect for us. The large deck had stunning views and was ideal for morning coffee before heading out for the day or coming back after beach time for a drink and relaxing outside. We enjoyed having a pool option for the one day we didn’t hit the beaches. It’s very close to Georgetown and in a quiet neighbourhood. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated the beach towels and mats ready by the door. We would choose this villa again and we’re so sad to leave!

A wonderful house in a great location

Fantastic view, very close to Georgetown. Great outdoor spaces and furnishings. We spent so much time lounging and dining on the covered deck with a view of the pool and the ocean. Bougainvilleas, hummingbirds and other birds made this a real tropical paradise. The kitchen is well furnished - no dishwasher but we made do. We used the washing machine and it was fun to hang up clothes outside since there is no dryer. The wifi was really strong and pretty reliable. Hot water was plentiful with good water pressure in the main suite. There was no pool table and no cable TV but we didn't mind. The road and driveway are pretty smooth for Exuma. And the caretaker's, Sugar and Cherry, were so nice and very helpful. We loved this house!

Dark, and plumbing issues

Both toilets needed fixing during our stay. The plumber couldn’t get out for several days, so my husband literally had to stick his hands in the back of the tanks to be able to flush the toilets. There were no pool floats, no sheet pans to bake, dark and dated decor, old and dated kitchen tools, no dryer- had to use the clothes line- cameras everywhere that made us feel uncomfortable.

Love Great Exuma!

We would definitely stay here again! This was our second trip to Great Exuma, we love this little island, last time we stayed in a beach front with a community pool, this time we opted for less $$, with a pool, no beachfront, great views! Glad we did because we were gone all day everyday. We rented a car and did our beach excursions either by boat, or car everyday, the only time we were at the house was when we were getting ready or sleeping. The pool was a nice distraction for the kids in the mornings and evenings. The house was stocked with plenty of towels and beach towels, we didn't cook so I can't say anything about kitchen stock. Has a washing machine - no dryer, but a line to hang clothes. Views are awesome! Had everything we needed for our trip.

Great location to rent in Exuma/George Town

The house is basically in the middle of Greater Exuma and minutes from "downtown" George Town for convenient access to grocery shopping & quick service restaurants. The location also provides equal access to the different beaches on each end of the island. The house itself is comfortable with plenty of amenities (kitchen ware, satellite TV, separate restrooms, propane BBQ grill), but having a nice outdoor pool was essential for us after spending hours in the sun & sand on various beaches. The backyard area is nice for small or large groups with a twin level patio and plenty of seating. Carole and Charlie were quick to answer if we called or texted, but we really didn't need much.

A Home way From Home Dreamhouse

Exuma Villa was AMAZING!!! It had everything we needed to feel right at home. The property looks just like the photos (inside & out)! It was lush & green & so spacious. There was a huge dining table for dinners & card games as well as satellite TV & Free wifi. Each room had its own air conditioner which made a huge difference. The pool was such an added bonus. Even though we went to the beach everyday, it was so nice to come back home to the pool to decompress from all the sand & salt. The kitchen was perfect for cooking some of our own meals to help save on cost. Charles gave me the heads up to bring a lot of my own dried goods as well as a cooler full of frozen food. The $30 we paid for luggage shipping was definitely worth the money we saved by not going out every night. Carol was there to greet us & somebody was always available if we had any trouble or issues (we only had one with the satellite dish & they came that same day & fixed it & I think it ended up being user error on my part anyway). The villa is also in the perfect location. It's only a 5min drive into town or to the more popular beaches (there was even a small beach & pier right down the street you could walk to). The car provided made all the difference!! We were able to explore the island at our own pace & even though gas is pricy ($5.50/gallon), the car did not use that much. We rented a boat from Minn's 3 of the days we were there & I would highly recommend that. It allowed us to snorkel some of the beaches that were a little harder to reach from the road. Overall, I have nothing but positive words for Exuma Villa!! My whole family agreed that staying there was the best decision & if we were to go back to Exuma, I would not hesitate at all to book with Carole & Charles. Thanks you so much for making our vacation run just like a dream!!!

Great place, great location

This property is in a great central location. You are not right on the water, but its a short walk to the water. The house is plenty comfortable. We enjoyed the pool when we were beached out. Carol is a great host and very informative about the island.

An amazing stay plus a free car

Amazing views

A spacious villa on one level for our family to be together. We used the outside deck for our meals and the big bbq. We explored the island but enjoyed coming back to the pool.. Thanks for all your help

a great house close to town

Our 2 week stay with are family was indeed the best vacation to date. Exuma was indeed fantastic, we took the Pig tour for the day..fantastic day. The people on Exuma were so friendly and helpful. Our teenage kids loved the pool table and ping pong table for nightly challenges. We adults loves the covered porch and the pool as there were days we just stay home and did not venture out at all. Carole and Charles provided us with plenty of towels and lots of blow up pool floats and balls. the grill was super big and clean with extra bottle of propane and a great outdoor table that we ate at each night. house is very big, we had lots of room, and especially clean. The free car was a terrific bonus for us and the house was so reasonably priced for our summer vacation with the family. Carole and Charles we just love this house and will be back next May 2018

Cozy Home - Great Location

Pros: Very relaxing stay. Great view of the bay and Georgetown. Enjoyed feeling far from town, while only being a 2 minute drive to town away. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home, but was fun going out for dinner in town as well. Carole is a great host and greeted us and rented out a boat to us (smaller motor but half the price of Minns) - we got over to Stocking Island and swam/snorkeled at different spots and stopped at a resort & Chat and Chill for a drink - Very fun time. Car (Honda Accord) was in good shape too - one day the belt broke but Carole had it fixed within the day. Carole also brought us a lot of beach towels so no need to overpack them. Beds were OK. Cons: A note was mentioned in the rental contract when we arrived about a $200 fee if you go over 800kwh in the week. We were never home during the day and turned off the AC when we left and we used around 600kwh. Just something to consider - may be a "gotcha" - especially if you think that you may stay at the place a few days. Water pressure was a bit low in the showers too, but not the outdoor hose or the kitchen sink.

Location location!!

Do not dismiss this rental for ANY reason!! Exactly as pics show... Carol, Charles' and Rudy the driver make it even better!! Extremely clean and wonderful location for traveling the entire island. Everything worked great and I highly recommend this place!! Gorgeous views looking out to Stocking Island. Short drive to the village for all kinds of groceries and drinks. We travelled in March 2017 as a family, with our two older teenage daughters. Fantastic to cook at home and relax at the end of each day at a different beach. Couldn't ask for better! And the locals are the sweetest guenuine people! Loved this place and loved our Exuma experience!! (Wishing you all the best carol and Charles!!)

Carole Did It Again - Wonderful!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this house - once was just myself and my wife 2 years ago - this time we brought the kids along for their first time out of country. Carole and Charles are FANTASTIC hosts - SO easy to work with and VERY helpful. Carole once again made everything super easy for us and was there when we needed her for any issues or questions. The house is great - plenty of space and all the amenities you should need while traveling in Exuma. The car is a HUGE bonus and helps so much. The A/C worked fine, plenty of fridge space, the grill is great and the view off the deck is perfect! Carole treats her guests graciously and I'd not have one issue recommending her or this house to anyone interested in experiencing the beauty known as Exuma. Carole is very flexible and will bend over to help make your stay as good as can be. The landscaping makes the house inviting and cozy. It's well kept, clean and very well stocked with beach towels, bath towels, plates, etc. A washer is included too - makes keeping us easy. Very quiet neighborhood - and a great location to go N or S while exploring the island. Beaches are nearby in under 10 minutes or drive further and explore more. Thanks again Carole!!

A great value, wonderful host and a great location

I spoke with Carole on the phone well before booking - she was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful! The house was exactly as the pictures showed, no issues, well appointed and had plenty of room and everything we needed. Carole met us at the airport to help us to get to our rental, showed us things of interest along the way (shops, grocery stores, gas stations etc). She was a great host, we felt like we had a friend on the island who was there to make sure we had the best trip possible. Carole even checked in on us because she hadn't seen or heard us for a few days (we're quiet people..) and wanted to make sure we were ok. Impressive! The house was clean, the pool was great and EXTREMELY quiet. A perfect place to relax, cook dinner and enjoy a trip. We had no issues at all and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from Carole again. She was very easy going, aimed to please and you could tell she cared about us enjoying our stay. The A/C worked great, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. She also had snorkeling gear, beach gear and other stuff that we didn't bring for us to use. The location is great - it's close enough to town to pop in if you need to, but far enough away to be quiet and private. There are other houses nearby, but you'd NEVER know as this house is secluded by the plants and so on. We can't say enough nice things about the house. Hope to come back soon!

Great House !

The Exuma house was a great find. The house was very clean , comfortable and had lots of room. The view and pool were an added bonus. We were close enough to walk to town but I suggest renting a car to explore all of the beautiful beaches of Exuma. Carol and Charles were so helpful and even had a Christmas tree for us when we arrived. I would certainly recommend this house to friends and family.
