Casita de Piedra is a small guest house located at the end of one of the last cobblestone dead ends street dating from the colonial era, in the heart of the most beautiful district of Bogota, La Candelaria.
The house, built in the early 1900s, was recently renovated respecting its architectural heritage, allowing its residents to enjoy a pleasant stay with all the comforts. The refined style decoration invites relaxation, escape and immersion in Colombian culture thanks to its typical colonial architecture and the promotion of local crafts.
The rooms are located on the ground floor with two open patios. The kitchen - dining room and a sunny terrace are located on the first floor.
The house offers four bedrooms with private bathrooms and can accommodate seven people. The rooms are equipped as follows:
Bedroom 1: a double bed (queen size)
Bedroom 2: two single beds or 1 double bed (king size)
Bedroom 3: a double bed (1.40m)
Bedroom 4: two single beds or 1 double bed (king size)
Rooms 2 and 4 are modulars so you can indicate us which configuration suits you. Additional blankets are avaiilable in each bedrooms.
Each four bathrooms includes toilets, a sink and an Italian shower. Bath towels as well as personal hygiene products, shampoo and shower gel, are provided by the house and there is a hairdryer available.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, hob, kettle, coffee machine, water purifier, all utensils needed for cooking, as well as the basic ingredients you need as oil, salt, pepper, sugar as well as tea, organic aromatic herbs for infusions and organic specialty coffee from a small producer in the region.
Breakfast is served every morning as a buffet from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It is composed of fresh breads, butter, jam, cheese, fruit, cereals and eggs are available if you wish to make an omelette or fried eggs. As drinks you will find coffee, panela lemonade, tea and aromatic herbs as well as cold milk.
It is possible to wash clothes but the machines are not available for self-service. This task is carried out by the guests of the house and does not generate additional costs.
