Beautiful townhouse in a gated community. Great Views.
The Cap Esterel area is beautiful and this townhouse is in a gated community with four large pools. Two pools are a bit of a walk and the best pool for kids involves a short drive and a bit of a walk. There is a shuttle train, but we never took it.
A little rough getting settled in. Our greeter was an hour late to meet us. The place smelled moldy when we entered, but most of the smell dissipated once the place was opened up, mostly dissipated. The greeter asked how many of us were staying and then asked for $100 for sheets and towels. She just threw the linens in each room and left without any introduction to the area. When we proceeded to make the beds we found we did not have enough sheets and most of what we had did not fit the beds.
When I texted the greeter of our predicament, she said that was all we would get. A double bed was considered for two and sheets were not given for all the beds.
Eventually we were provided sheets for all the beds, but it took some time.
There is no A/C so if there is no ocean breeze your out of luck. Fortunately in mid June there was usually an ocean breeze, usually.
The car garage is only big enough for a golf cart, so the open parking is about 30 or 40 meters up the street. Then 27 stairs to the door, just sayin. The bedrooms are on the second floor up a narrow winding staircase.
It is a nice place. Goods views, nice outdoor dining table.
The location is good and having access to some nice pools was a big plus for the kids.
