No pets! Must be 25 and up to rent. We are a SuperHost on the "other" rental site (I can provide the link if needed) Wanted to expand our reach with using VRBO as well. *
Adorably decorated 1 bedroom 1.5 bath condo 100 steps from the beach (not ocean front) Located on the North End of the island you will be steps to the Carolina Beach Pier and Freeman Park. The famous Carolina Beach Boardwalk is approx 1 mile away. In 20 minutes you can be in Historic Downtown Wilmington. Complete with Washer Dryer, King Size memory foam bed, Full size Sofa Bed(which is best for kids and typically not adults), Dishes, Pots and Pans, Bath Towels (beach towels are not provided), Dishwasher, Microwave, Coffee maker. Patio seating, Pool, Roku TV (you can log in to your Netflix, HBO and Prime accounts if you wish) Board Games, DVD's.

This place was exactly how advertised and only a block from the beach. The host was easy to get in touch with and we would stay here again!

There is no beach view from this condo. Also, you do have to walk farther down the road to get to a spot on the beach where you can sit. The owner was great, and very accommodating. The condo is nice, but quite old. It's a good value for the price.

The listing doesn’t mention any ocean view so that shouldn’t be expected. The building was built in 1986 so we prefer “Vintage” 😂.

Great spot

Great little condo, perfect for a couple even a couple with one child. Very convenient location, short walk to the beach. Quiet, couldn’t hear anyone else staying in the building. Clean and comfy. Would definitely stay there again!!

Relaxing weekend!

Very nice condo and great location! Condo was small but perfect for 2-3 people. Clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend!

Great Condo

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Extremely short distance to the beach and the pool right behind us. While we were rarely in the condo, It was extremely clean and no issues at all. Any questions we had, the owners responded immediately. I plan on returning next year.

Excellent host!

My son and I stayed recently while he was doing a camp at UNC-Wilmington. The unit was clean and well maintained, and the host was excellent about communication. They provided helpful restaurant recommendations and were very understanding about a minor mishap that happened while we were staying there. Highly recommend!

The best beach house

Settled at the top of the island is this cute vacation rental! The house is clean, fresh and relaxing! Everything you need to spend the day at the beach but have the “home” convenience is PERFECT! The owners are really great and respond super fast with any questions you have! This is our second year here and we hope to be back for year 3! Amazing price and amazing place! The people around are also super friendly especially the locals!

Everything works good and comfortably we stayed for five days. A little tweak when we came because the code in the door have change. It just so hot outside to wait before the owner calls back. But everything you need including toiletries and toeels are available. The ocean is just 100 steps away as what described. Shops and grocery stores are just nearby. We spend our time by the beach and visited the aquarium as well. A little bit outdated including the porch chairs need to be replaced. All I can say our stay in this place is wonderful.

Perfect location

Steps from the beach this condo was clean and comfortable.The Keurig was a nice bonus as I expected the usual drip pot....there was that also but I used the Keurig .Towels and linen were reasonable quality Decor was nice. Would definitely rebook when in the area .

Every year I stay here. The owner Meri is great to work with. The condo is clean, sanitized, and has just about everything you need. If you have questions, she responds almost immediately. Very short walk to the beach, and the pool is behind the building. The location is quiet and peaceful. Great restaurants and The Boardwalk is a few blocks down. Everything is exact as the description listed for reservations. You won’t be disappointed.

Family Vacation

My Family and I stayed 6 nights. The condo was clean and very accommodating. Our kids 6 and 3 slept on the pull out couch and the king size bed in the bed room is a definite plus. The kids enjoyed the extra beach toys that were left out for use. It was super easy to login to our Hulu account on the TV. The condo is as advertised and 100 feet from the beach. We were able to see the boardwalks fireworks from the beach, which was great. Thanks Merri for the great accommodations! PS - everyone with kids that are interested. There two toilets not just one :).

Mini Vacay - Work trip

We were ok w/the condo itself, but the cable went out the last 2 days we were there. After being out all day we just wanted to sit back and watch a movie, but no go. The tv is Roku only, no cable. (I don't readily know my passwords,etc).. I will make sure not to rent another place w/out..the internet was SLOW and had minimal securty which made me a bit nervous working there. Parking was a bit of an issue this time and I'm sure in the summer it will be terrible trying to find a space remotely close by..first come first serve. The passes state $5 fee if lost, but the VRBO charges $50 ea. if lost..a bit excessive I think.

As explained it was an island wide issue with the outage of Wi-Fi. We can’t do anything about that…. On the island - cable and wi-fi are the same provider so you would have had the same problem . We provide a DVD player with about 30 movies for problems like this. We also advertise it is Roku TV not cable. Parking is discussed as well being first come first served and there is ample parking around the building. We’ve rented for 4 years and only had 1 guest have an issue with getting blocked in and it was resolved very quickly. The passes fee is based on what the HOA puts us through to replace them. The charge is an incentive not to lose them. Don’t want to pay the fee? Don’t lose the passes.

Love this Condo

This was our second time staying here. Very clean, great location, and Merri is amazing. This has become our home away from home. Very quiet and relaxing. Far enough away from traffic but close to everything. I recommend this place to anyone, you will love it!

Great overall stay.

Very happy with our stay. One suggestion would be to update the oven/stove range. As someone who does cook and if we’d had a longer stay, that needs to be replaced.

Carolina Beach is one of our favorite beaches (I grew up here) and we bought this place so we could enjoy it more AND share it with others. We have 2 boys, 17 and 10, and we both work and enjoy our little slice of heaven in CB whenever we can.
