Hidden Hideaway is a wonderfully quiet, NEWLY UPDATED, 4 BD/4 BA conjoined walk-in unit. Each side has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living area, and kitchen. Just minutes from Silver Dollar City and the Indian Point Marina, this location is full of amenities including an outdoor pool and a hiking trail to the catch-and-release lake. A quick drive takes you to the Strip and all that Branson has to offer. Enjoy your stay, and hide-away. PLEASE NOTE: This property is currently listed on the market for sale. Showings can be requested throughout your stay, advance notice will be provided.

Neither the bedroom nor bathroom doors are ADA compliant. Unless seen in the unit pictures, no stabilizing handles have been installed in the bathrooms.

Great place for a family getaway!

We had a great time the place was well stocked and the balcony has a beautiful view! We also enjoyed the games they had available to play.

Perfect

This was the perfect place for our family and extended family.The two separate units connected by a interdoor gave privacy as well as togetherness. Unit was well stocked and management was easy to get a hold of (quick response) Loved the porch, good view of the great outdoors, We will definitely be back!

Perfect

Perfect cozy place to stay with our kids and grandkids! Plenty of room for all 11 of us. The littles loves the bunk beds! So close to Silver Dollar City as well as just a few miles from Walmart! Beautiful setting! This was our second time to stay in Notch and we will be back.

Was very comfortableand easy to access. However we were disappointed that a TV in one bedroom did not get fixed and did not work. Need a sign that says to “turn here to Notch Condos” Was a fun stay

Extended Family Vacation

This was ideal for our extended family of 11: grandparents, adult children and grandchildren. Recently renovated with new appliances and very clean. The connecting rooms gave us plenty of space and the outside deck gave the early risers a quiet place to enjoy coffee and reading. The kids liked having pools on the premises as well as the hike to the lake where they could fish. Close enough to the action in Branson without the crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

We stayed here with 4 adults & 2 kids. It worked well for us considering the price. There has been some updating done to the units & what has been done looks very nice. We did have a problem with the dryer vent not being hooked up. It was an easy fix but just make sure before using the dryers. Also, it would be nice to have more places to hang towels. Definitely not enough if we had booked with max capacity for the units. We loved the location. Very convenient to everything we needed. Management responded quickly to my 1 message. Overall it is a nice set-up for a bigger crowd.

Relaxing

This was a small family vacation for us. The place was nice. Nice back patio to sit on at night. We had a pool within walking distance of us that the kids enjoyed and we had all to ourselves (when there are 4 adults and 7 kids, no one else wants to swim lol). We never made it down to the other pool, but it was bigger than the one closest to us. Cabinets were fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient Location, beautiful view

Overall this rental is ok except for two main things: The carpet in the apartment to the right was FILTHY. So bad that our bare feet got dirty walking on it. The carpet in left apartment was new. The mattresses were supposed to be replaced but only the double beds had been. Both apartments were in terrible need of a decor update—decor was straight from the 1990’s—and new couches!!! Otherwise, our experience was good and televisions were all relatively new. Only the living rooms had satellite television, though. The bedrooms only have DVDs. Movies and books and TOYS were available!!! Loved that. Some mechanical repairs were needed also. The view was beautiful.

Disappointing for the price

We’ve gone to Branson annually since 2014. Always get a 4 bedroom, 4 bath property; generally a cabin or condo. This is the first time we’ve been disappointed. This property was advertised as a condo but it’s actually an old apartment complex and we essentially had two 2-bedroom apartments with a doorway in between. That arrangement could work really well if the wall between the units was removed to create a nice open space. It was difficult to have 8 adults together. Noise from upstairs came through easily. Units are pretty worn and sorely in need of updating, especially the mattresses. I will say the units were generally clean. The wooded setting off the main road yet close to SDC is excellent. Nice path with a short walk to a small private lake where I saw a family catching fish. I think the owners recently purchased the property so we may check them out again in a couple years. The customer service rep was courteous and helpful.

Great Location

If you’re going to Silver Dollar City you can beat the location. The setting and area were quiet and nice for the family. Property in need of a few updates and the walls are very thin…but overall great for a family weekend away!

Decent stay with my family but unit needs to be updated

For the most part the property was decent. I do think the description of the units should be updated. One unit has both couches (pull out) and the other unit has the dinner table with rocking chairs in the living room. There is a connecting door between both units which made it easier when we had to get something from either unit. Because there was no couch in the other living room we pretty much didn’t use that space. There were a few items that were either broken or missing such as a hole in a bathroom door, missing wallpaper, broken garbage disposal in one unit, broken outlets in one master bathroom/bedroom. There was also dried blood on one of the sheets and blanket set in a twin bunk room so I’m not sure if that was even cleaned after the last stay. The carpet and floors were filthy. My brother in law owns a cleaning company so he brought everything with him which I’m grateful for since we needed to super clean the space. The carpet had a black residue on it that we tried to clean. We just didn’t walk around barefoot. One of the patio doors had a super loose handle that was about to break so we tried to tighten that too. It also had a broken screen door so we didn’t use that side much. As far as amenities goes those were great. We brought our stuff and used the grill. Pools were nice too. We were within 15 minutes of all the activities we wanted to do as well. I notified the owner of the issues and he seemed to be aware of a few of them so hopefully those get fixed for the next guests. Overall wasn’t bad, it worked for the short time my huge family was there.

Not what we expected

I was lead to believe this was a 4 bedroom unit not 2 apartments made into one!! The porch for this 4 bedroom place is split in half with a wall! Yes we had a great time but wouldn’t recommend this place for a large group! Some of the pots was put away dirty from previous people, one of the main lights was broken before we got there and not fixed before we left, they ask for you to start the washing before you leave and still charge a cleaning fee!!

Although the neighborhood and location are excellent, the actual property is less than acceptable

Well, we were disappointed from the minute we stepped foot inside the door. Both units smelled musty and moldy and stayed that way during our entire 4 day stay. Even though it was clean, one of the units had bugs that very well could have been cockroaches. And that same unit...9-3... had a leak from an upstairs unit into the master bathroom ceiling into the shower with a large mold spot on the ceiling. Maybe that is why they smelled so bad. And the main bathroom ceiling in unit 9-4 had the same problem in the main bath. For the amount of money we had to pay,...it was very disappointing. Probably should be asking for a partial refund of our money.

There were a few weeks prior to this guest's stay where this unit was not occupied. The unit above our property had apparently developed a small leak in between guests. We greatly value communication with our guests. We encourage them to contact us about any concerns they may have prior/during and even after their stay. We did not hear from this guest during their stay or after their stay directly. Until the items showed up in this review we had no idea there was an unpleasant experience had. We were not provided the opportunity to respond to the noted issues within this review while the guest was with us. We are readily available and welcome any calls or other methods of contact at all hours of the day/night. We are very responsive to any concerns our guests may have regarding our properties that may cause them to have an unpleasant experience. No contact was attempted throughout this stay to notify our company of problems with the property. We have taken care of the small leak this customer brought to our awareness. The leak developed in between guest stays. The one in 9:4 had been fixed long before this guest stayed at the property. It was caused by a pinhole size leak in the shower head. It did cause damage to the popcorn ceiling. No major damage was done. The property is ready for all guests to enjoy. We look forward to hosting your stay. Making your dreams a reality-Daniel

Absolutely wonderful!

Peaceful property, close to all the Branson attractions, extremely close to SDC, clean accommodations, and felt at-home. Love the serene balcony setting, pool, basketball area, ease with parking, and helpful emails/notifications from the manager. Nice to have the BBQ option. Kitchen was well stocked. Very comfortable rooms/beds. Helped make this family trip one everyone loved and will remember forever.

Family Time

We had 5 adults and 2 children in the condos. The set-up was perfect for all of us, plenty of space and it was nice having 2 kitchens and certainly 4 bathrooms. The pools were well maintained and the children enjoyed swim time after a hot day in Silver Dollar City. We will certainly consider using this unit again in the future.
