Unlike most beach houses on the island, this home's architecture was designed to take advantage of its prime beach front location providing almost every room in the home with abundant light and gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico. Whether you're soaking in the master tub, cooking in the kitchen, eating in the dining room, lounging in the family room by the fireplace, working in the bunk room office, relaxing or sunning on one of our sun decks, using the private dune walkover and deck areas, or sleeping in one of the five bedrooms, you will be enjoying deep blue ocean views!

Just a short drive from the Houston area and you've reached Moss Landing on Crystal Beach. As soon as you board the Galveston Island Ferry en route, you'll feel the stress of city life melting away. And then, after the short 15 minute ferry ride (or take the alternate bridge route if you prefer), you soon arrive in Crystal Beach where you'll find this island paradise retreat sitting on almost an acre of prime ocean-front property ready to host you, your family, and friends for an idyllic beach vacation.

- Recent, private Dune Walkover affords direct access to the beach & a great place for a picnic, sun bathing or just overseeing the beach activity without getting in the sand. Soon, rockers, firepit & dining area to be added.

- Recently updated landscaping includes a large sandbox for the kids. Also, several fun family games to choose from including croquet and washers.

- Recent 22kwH Briggs & Stratton Whole Home Generator. The peninsula is known for its frequent power outages. You’ll always be nice and cool at Moss Landing with uninterrupted comfort. In the event of a power outage on the island, the generator will automatically turn on and power the entire home indefinitely.

- Recent stainless steel appliances, including french door refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, coffee makers (including K-cup), microwave, blender, toaster oven

- Fully equipped kitchen – cookware and cooking utensils, baking dishes, mixing bowls, knives and cutting boards, silverware, plastic and regular dishes and glasses, coffee mugs, coffee pot (utilizes regular coffee filters), toaster

- Linens included: 10+bath towels; all linens for all beds: sheets, pillows, quilts etc; kitchen towels, hand towels, washcloths, 10+ beach towels

- Extras Provided: Trash bags, 2 rolls of paper towels per stay, 4 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom per stay, Dish soap, dishwasher fluid, hand soap, laundry detergent & softener
