The Bear Lake State Park Marina is only half a mile east, allowing you to lounge on the lakeshore and take out a boat with ease. You'll also find many things to do within a short drive, whether you choose to visit Garden City Beach (a mile south), the Bear Lake West Golf Course (four miles north), or Beaver Mountain Ski Area (14 miles west).

Amazing views

Clean , quite, comfortable, well stocked and amazing views! Access to the pool was an added bonus as we had our 8 yr old granddaughter with us. Would stay here again.

This property was very clean had everything needed, just like your home in the kitchen, bathrooms, and all of the rooms. The view was breathtaking. amenities were included such as using the pool. Nice secluded area, landscaping, immaculate. We definitely want to return to this property in the future. A family reunion would be perfect. I have taken pictures of the property and the inside and shared it with my family. Everyone was delighted to see that we were able to stay in such a beautiful place for our 32nd wedding anniversary.

End of year getaway 2023

The area and the property were great, beautiful view of lake. We only had couple of cleaning issues but the guest service person Sue, addressed them immediately. We would definite recommend this property, close to stores and as mentioned beautiful scenery and especially for taking rightful walks. Wonderful stay.

We really liked the location and the view was amazing! But the toilet downstairs was broken and two people cannot shower at the same time. I really wanted to take a bath after a cold day, and there was not enough hot water. We also had trouble getting the downstairs TV to work because there was no remote.

Some issues with the complete cleaning of the property. Some furniture had changed. Especially the dining table chairs. BEWARE - Do Not Rent This Unit

Property felt like a bait and switch with pictures not matching the current state of the property. There were bugs in all window ledges and covering the wall by the sliding glass door. We killed over a dozen spiders during the stay. Surfaces were dusty there was mold in the water pitcher and washing machine. The cleanliness of this place was horrible! The silverware for us to use was jagged like it had been run through the garbage disposal. There werenā€™t enough towels for our family of 5. The AC didnā€™t work upstairs. I have many pictures evidencing the poor state of this rental that Iā€™d be happy to provide. Donā€™t ruin your vacation before it starts just move on past this unit and find something else. The property manager and Vacasa didnā€™t seem interested in sending anyone out to bring this unit up to rental standards.

Could have been better

The furniture was at least 20 years old in the living room on the slipcovers that they were covering with were old and I'll bet haven't been washed in a year And they would not stay on. The ice maker in the fridge did not work but was running constantly why we were there and I could not turn it off. The location was excellent the unit could use an update

Great Place Great Price

We loved our stay! The home was well stocked and centrally located. We had plenty of space to spread out and it had an amazing view of the lake. The two complaints we had were that the mattresses were awful and the upstairs got really hot! When laying down, there were large body impressions in the mattresses making it so your feet were higher than your head. The AC has a warning that you canā€™t turn it below 70 which is fine for downstairs but the upstairs was around 75 and we couldnā€™t open the sliding door because the screen was broken. All in all we enjoyed our stay but never got a good night sleep.

Needs repair and deep cleaning!

The property is in disrepair and filthy. There are a laundry list of items that need attention: carpets are horribly soiled, 50% of kitchen chairs you can sit on because theyā€™re broken, internet and WiFi went out during our stay, and got locked out of unit because of broken screen door. The place is dirty. I wouldnā€™t go bare foot in the unit. As an example, coffee from the previous guest was still in the coffee maker. šŸ¤¢

Fantastic place right by the marina

This place was fantastic, especially for the price. Plenty of space, great kitchen area with dish washer and laundry. Loved that it was right across the street from the bear lake marina as well. Only complaint was that the wifi was shotty at best. Probably just need a new router. But we were mostly out on the lake, so that was OK, and it worked well enough to use Netflix on the smart TVs at night. Also would have been nice to have a real grill outside. Otherwise it was great! Exactly as advertised, and gorgeous view from the balcony! Highly recommend.

Not great

It was mediocre, but the price was low. Air conditioner didn't work that great. The dryer barely dried, had to run it several times to dry clothing. There were 4 of us staying there. Tried to get in the hot tub, there were about 6 small kids in it kicking and splashing everywhere with their parents ignoring them. Some guy came over and kicked everyone out of the hot tub, saying only 10 people allowed (no visible signage thats says it). Threw a huge fit and made a big deal. Once my friends and I got out, we just left because it was miserable. Then the guy fist bumped his friends because he "ran us off", and they had OPEN BEER CANS, which is not allowed. There was signage that said so. We were in the hot tub for about 15 min, that's it. All in all, I would not return to this place because of the guy at the pool area. He was very rude and only seemed to care about his friends, not other customers who are also paying to be there.
