Silver Creek Lodge is one of the best full-service resorts at Snowshoe, WV. It was built around great family fun. This SKI-IN and SKI-OUT lodge has it all under one roof! Your family will experience the many extras that this lodge has to offer!

Silver Creek Lodge has it all, including: 100% snowmaking capabilities, it's own wide trails and high speed lifts, night skiing, snowboarding, a tubing park, magic carpet learning area, cross country skiing, indoor/outdoor heated pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, exercise room, nursery, food court, Misty's Restuarant/Sports Bar, ski shop, ski rentals, ski school/ private lessons, kid's ski school, clothing/gift store, arcade, a mini-mart, and PLENTY of parking--ALL UNDER ONE ROOF!!

Silver Creek Mountain has many activities available for the non-skiers as well, such as snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, sledding, snow cat rides, snowshoeing and rest & relaxation! If you would like to ski the trails of Snowshoe or enjoy the shopping & restuarants of the Village, there is free bus transportation provided from Silver Creek Lodge that leaves every 15 minutes!

This year-round resort offers the Raven Golf Club, Mountain Bike Park, Cass Scenic Railroad, World' Largest Radio Telescope at Green Bank, WV Freedom Fest Motorcycle Rally, Fire on the Mountain Chilli Cook-off, Snowshoe Symphony Festival, Wine and Jazz Festival, Oktoberfest and many, many more.

For the family who enjoys the ambience of a spacious loft unit, our unit is the perfect choice. Our unit offers two bedrooms (both with queen beds), two full baths, living area (with a queen sleeper sofa), dining area (table seating for 6), fully stocked kitchen(with dishwasher), fireplace (wood provided) and balcony make this the perfect family condominium. You will enjoy the mountain and pool views from the master bedroom and dining areas. Three Smart TV's with DVD/VCR's make the kids (and DAD) happy! Linens and towels are provided!

If you need to rent skis or snowboards, or purchase lift tickets, you can do all of this inside of the Silver Creek Lodge! The lodge also offers around the clock guest services and luggage carts.

Cozy Room - Great Trip!

We were a bit unsure of what to expect on our first trip to Silver Creek Lodge, especially since I booked the trip a year in advance, but we were absolutely delighted with our stay! The condo was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room for our family. The kids loved the upstairs loft, which featured a large TV, a cozy queen bed, a sofa, a private bathroom, and an additional couch. It was the perfect spot for them to unwind.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, including a full-size oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. It truly felt like a home away from home. The condo also had the convenience of a washer and dryer, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth experience. He called me a few days before our arrival to answer any questions I had, and when I accidentally locked myself out on day one, he responded immediately. The code was reset within minutes, making it all so easy.Thank you for being such a great host! I would absolutely stay at Silver Creek Lodge again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped place to stay.

Great lodging in a great location

We had a great time at silver creek. The location of the lodging was right next to the night ski location which made it perfect to go back and forth. The room was clean and had all of the necessities. Unfortunately, the hot tub was broken the last night but we enjoyed our time at the sauna jnstead. Thank you for the great stay!

Perfect Location. Accurate Description

January 2025. Our first trip to Snowshoe. Overall in good condition. The bedding and furniture could be updated but not in bad condition. Our family had plenty of space in the room. Walk to the mountain and ski down. Shuttle ran every 30 minutes to Snowshoe. Super easy to get on and off, very short trip. Way more options ski wise there than Silver Creek, but Silver Creek was never crowded.Huge winter storm hit. Other than one icy day on the roads they were well kept. We left on a super heavy snow day, the roads had been cleared and no issue. Must have 4 wheel drive.

Holiday weekend

Charming and Convenient Retreat with akk the comforts of home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at unit number ?. Its location at the end of the hall ensures a peaceful setting, ideal for managing ski or snowboard gear. The balcony offers a view of both the pool and the parking lot. Although the unit features an electric fireplace, we found the baseboard heating to be more than adequate. The kitchen is impressively equipped with a wide range of essentials. The addition of a small washer and dryer was particularly convenient, especially the dryer for wet gloves after skiing. The unit includes two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms. The downstairs bedroom, complete with a queen bed, provides balcony access, ample closet space, and a dresser. The spacious upstairs loft bedroom, while open to sounds from below, wasn't an issue for our group. The large dining/living room table was perfect for meals, and we cleverly used the space under the staircase for food storage and the stair rails for hanging helmets and gloves. Finding additional storage for gear can be a bit of a challenge, but we made good use of the hooks and rail in the small laundry room. The unit was impeccably clean and equipped with newer appliances. We were delighted with our stay and look forward to returning.

Great place to stay

We come every year for a skiing trip. The silver creek building is dated but nice. The checkin was no problem and good lift passes at the front desk. The room was large but oddly laid out. The owners did a really good job designing it in a way to maximize space. The room has minor things needing attention but for a ski resort i thought it was great. The beds were very comfortable. plenty of dishes for cooking. The pool and hot tub were nice way to end the day. Parking was simple with the parking pass. I plan to stay here again next year. Great place to stay

Wonderful Ski/Tubing Vacation

The condo was very comfortable and easy to access everything needed for a fun ski weekend. We got lucky and it snowed our entire stay. I’d recommend staying at Silver Creek with rentals, lifts and tubing right outside the door and less crowds. While the Silver Creek Resort is one of the older resorts at Snowshoe, Brian has done a great job updating his place to include very comfortable beds, updated appliances and bathrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped for family meal preparation. Check in was a breeze with an email from Brian prior to our arrival with the door access code and a follow up to make sure everything was ok. This was our first time skiing in almost 16 years and having such a pleasant home base made it a great time. We will definitely be returning.

Decent stay after initial issues

This is a great property, but unfortunately due to some check in issues, we had some trouble upon arrival. First, we were told to go to the Inn at the bottom of the hill and then they were unable to assist us and we were told to go to the top of the mountain to get our keys. Once there, they were still unable to find our reservation and after a half hour, they allowed us to show our email confirmation for the reservation. The guard at the property didn’t have us on the list to stay and we had to them go and get a parking permit from the front desk and circle back to show the guard. Finally, upon arrival to get into the property, it was not cleaned upon arrival. I contacted the owner to let him know of all of the issues and he was apologetic, but I did not hear back from him. Luckily, whatever managers saw us and our luggage standing out in the hallway, and was very accommodating and apologetic to clean our room. The silver Creek staff was incredible and they were really helpful. After this initial issue, the stay was fine, standard.

Great location to the slopes and ski rentals. This was a two story at the end of the hall, away from people walking and running the halls. Easy check in and check out process. Definitely going to stay here again.

First time at Silver Creek

We had a great first time experience at Silver Creek! Brian was a gracious host and responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We typically stay in the Village but really enjoyed being at Silver Creek. The staff on property were all very helpful. The coffee shop and retail ski shop downstairs were great conveniences. Also, having a dryer in the unit was a game changer! We’re grateful that we had the opportunity to spend the holiday weekend at Brian’s Silver Creek condo. Thank you!!!

Good for skiers and reasonably priced.

We had 5 adults and 1 teenager. Two of us are not skiers. We were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t realize Silver Creek was a different ski area than Snowshoe. For the skiers it was very nice. There were lifts right outside, shuttles to Snowshoe, and night skiing. For those of us that aren’t skiers there wasn’t much to do. There wasn’t anywhere nearby to go snowshoeing or cross country skiing or any cute little towns to walk around. But for the skiers it was nice and reasonably priced.

Patience required

We liked the amenities at Silver Creed but not the schedule. Pool not open until 3pm one day. Kids play area closed until 1pm. We had a day of solid rain and really needed options. The ski area at Silver Creek is uncrowded and has the only night skiing on the mountain--big plus. The shuttle bus to the rest of Snowshoe was dependable although packed at the end of the day. The unit was clean but the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. The biggest issue we had was getting information from the host. No check-in info was available through VRBO so we had to message, text and call to get a return call. Information was promised in writing and never arrived. Check-in was odd. There is a 24-hour front desk at Silver Creek but to get our key we had to go out of our way to the Inn at the base of the mountain.

Excellent stay ski-in ski- out

Just as advertised. Great 2br loft apartment at Silvercreek Lodgeand easy to ski-in-out on the silver creek side of snowshoe mtn. Owner contacted me promptly to help me through the check in process. tubing and the pool/hot tub also nice activities to do with family.
