This cozy coastal carriage house near Rosemary Beach has all the comforts of home! With a private yard that provides picnic space and a gas grill, this home is ideal for those who want to slow down and savor the Florida lifestyle. Best of all, this well-appointed space is a short walk or bike ride from a luxurious community pool, shaded walking paths, a variety of shops and restaurants, and the white sand beach!

This darling carriage house sits a quarter-mile from the beach, allowing you to sunbathe, swim, and collect seashells with ease. You'll be less than half a mile from bike rentals, several shops, and local dining favorites that include Pizza By The Sea and La Cocina. Nature lovers can visit Camp Helen State Park (two miles southeast), which offers fantastic beach access and great opportunities for hiking and fishing. For some of the best shopping, dining, and entertainment in the area, venture over to 30 Avenue (one mile east).

This home shares its property with a main house (Lemon Drop Main House); the two can be rented together as Lemon Drop.

A little hard to find the address. don't trust your GPS. When we got there we had no light on the living room area and on the kitchen area. After 3 calls and 2 hours waiting for someone to come, we received a call and guide me to located the electric box. Also the kitchen faucet was liking and three of the stove burners were not working. The manager told me I was going to get compensated for the inconvenience but nothing yet. Don't trust them.

wonderful stay

we had a wonderful time at the carriage house! it was quiet and very family friendly. there are 4 different parks in the neighborhood which i appreciate with my kids being 5 & 3. there were a lot of other kids out riding bikes, throwing a football in the street etc. being able to ride the tram to the beach was soooo nice. the pool area was gorgeous and has a pool thatā€™s no deeper than 3ft which makes it very kid friendly. there were so many good restaurants as well and live music in several different locations. the house was perfect! the only thing that was a little inconvenient was that i could not find a broom anywhere. i swept the floor with a paper towel several times because i have a messy toddler! other than that the house and the area were 10/10. we hope to come back again soon.

Good but needs extra items

This home was good enough for what we needed it to be - one story, bedroom has a door and a full kitchen. BUT be prepared to have to bring (or buy) practically everything. No coffee filters, no first morning supply of coffee, only 2 forks, no butter knife, not even scissors... It was a decent place to stay, but definitely needs to be better stocked...

THE WORST EXPERIENCE :(

When we arrived the door was open, the room was dirty with a bad smell the house was behind another house there was no light at night my daughter fell I didn't have internet and I couldn't work at home they never did anything to help me two people came into my house at two in the morning since the door did not work, the worst vacation with my children

Best to Skip this One

This is for a 5 day stay at the carriage house. Location is great. Kitchen is updated but not stocked at all. No laundry, no hooks for towels, one cup -non krueg- coffee maker, no toaster, ants falling from light fixture above bed. Management company refused to address any issues.

Great stay!

We were placed into this home due to an issue with our original booking. We were not disappointed! Itā€™s a perfect spot for a couple. Comes with plenty of cooking utensils if you want to do a meal or two inside. Easy walking distance to the pool and beach. The Villages arenā€™t too far, either, where thereā€™s a solid amount of shops and restaurants. A quick walk to Rosemary Beach is also very doable. We love the area. We love the home and will attempt to stay here again in the future.

Cute little home away from home!

This home was the perfect size for just my husband and I. We enjoyed our trip and the location of the home. We were disappointed that the home didn't have a washer or dryer. It would have been useful for our wet beach towels and swimsuits. The remote for the TV had no batteries and the settings on the TV cut off the picture. Parking was shared and often taken over by the main house on the property. Designated parking spots for the separate homes would be a good idea. The kitchen was severely lacking in cookware, just 3 small skillets and no containers to store leftovers. There was no collander, other than a very small one, and no larger bowls to serve food. Luckily, we hadn't planned on cooking more than just a few nights. We would have to be more prepared for what the rental is lacking if we were to stay here again.

Wanted to stay longer

We were here 2 nights and wished we stayed longer. Property is private and perfect size for the 2 of us. Easy access to everything. Had more than we expected regarding amenities. A couple items (lamps) shows wear but everything was functional. I would stay here again.

Great location!

This is a great get away for a family on the go! Location and amenities are great. Pull out sofa is in need of a new mattress and beach towels were not provided as listing stated. Great affordable option for the area. Loved not having to book for a full week!!

Very cool! Unique place!

Great little place for the 2 of us, a kerig style coffee maker would be nice, could use a TV upgrade, but there is plenty to do. We will probably come back! Overall great weekend!

We were a little disappointed, the first night a smoke alarm beeped all night, the second night the bedroom and bath breaker tripped and could not find the breaker, the 4th night the living room kitchen breaker tripped when we turned on the light, luck by then I knew where the panel was behind the mirror in the bedroom. No place to hang clothes or towels in the bathroom, kitchen utensils were not well stocked(no spatula, 2 table knifes ect.). The place looked nice but needed some maintenance. The management company was good and took care of everything

Overall overall we enjoyed our stay. It was clean, cute, cozy, located in a beautiful neighborhood, and conveniently located to the beach, shops, and restaurants. However the reason for only 4 stars is due to very cheap amenities and poorly stocked kitchen. The dishes, pots, pans, silverware, utensils, and especially the coffee maker were very poor quality! We like to cook in and enjoy coffee of a morning. This was difficult to do with only 1 small quality pan, 1 spatula with the plastic peeling off, plastic dishes, and a coffee maker that barely worked. Too there weren't any simple essentials like salt and pepper, coffee filters, etc. The TV's are super small, blankets were very thin, and pillows were hard. The unit is not equipped with or given access to a washer and dryer. Lastly parking can be tricky as you have to share with the larger adjacent home. You may or may not be able to park on the grave pad near the house if the other home is occupied. As mentioned the house was clean and in a great location. We really enjoyed the community pool and tram service to the beach. I recommend the home , but would recommend guests to bring their own amenities and plan on eating out and Amavida for moring coffee. If the homeowners would update these few things with higher quality furnishings, it would dramatically enhance the guests experience.
