charming penthouse apartment

A charming penthouse apartment (4th floor) of approx 30 mq plus veranda of approx 16 mq in the historical heart of Alghero, with a wide view on the medieval walls, in front of the Catalonian tower of San Giovanni and an important historic building. In a very quiet position close to shops, restaurants, bank, and the walk along the ancient bulwarks upon the sea. Furnished with wooden floors, kitchenette, storeroom, comfortable sofa bed ideal for couples, with the possibility of additional chair-bed in a second (very) small room. Sheets and bath towels are included. Large veranda with plants, curtains and furniture. Additional allowances for the consumption of water, gas and electricity are not required, except for air conditioning (to be agreed with the owner). The cost of rent will be added 30.00 euros for stay cleaning. Some objects in photos may be replaced in order to free space.

Nei sette piacevolissimi giorni trascorsi ad Alghero,l'appartamento è stato il nostro buen retiro.In posizione felice,tra la città autentica dei mercati e dei commerci e quella più turistica delle vetrine e dei ristoranti, in ogni momento della giornata ci riservava un'oasi di tranquillità e pace.Nulla nell'allestimento è stato lasciato al caso:tutto è estremamente funzionale, di buon gusto e gradevolmente assortito. La terrazza è veramente deliziosa:la si vive pienamente e la sera si gode lo spettacolo del fiume umano, senza però esserne travolti.Un grazie di cuore ad Alessandro, cortese e disponibile.Ci siamo sentiti ospiti, non turisti. 'L''appartamento corrisponde perfettamente all''annuncio, e il suo proprietario é una persona squisita. Abbiamo trascorso slendide giornate utilizzando ampiamente la grande terrazza che impreziosisce il locale. Quanto alla posizione é a due passi dal mercato del pesce e della frutta e dall''intero centro storico, situato in un punto nevralgico della città di Alghero. Nessuna meraviglia se specie alla sera si vedono circolare per le vie nuvole di turisti; il brusio di fondo -che pur si sente- non é fastidioso. Una nota merita infine la 'dotazione' dell''appartamento, funzionale e di buon gusto e che per quel che ci riguarda il proprietario non ha esitato ad integrare offrendo di procurarci un piccolo ombrellone da trasportare in motorino. Ringraziamo di cuore Alessandro per aver fatto tutto quel che serviva affinché la percezione fosse quella di una bella vacanza trascorsa a casa di un vecchio amico.'

This is a perfect place for a couple to stay. Right in the historic centre it is near the restaurants and port. The balcony has the sun most of the day, a great view and provides a lovely place for eating. Alessandro was really nice and helpful. The flat is nice and clean. If you want to cook the markets are a 2 minute walk and have the most fantastic fresh food. The supermarket is also nearby.

'Superbe appartement rénové avec un goût certain pour l''élégance & la sobriété fonctionnelle, mais aussi un soin particulier apporté à l''atmosphère générale du studio, très agréable & 'cosy', emprunt de la personnalité et du caractère très 'plaisant' de son propriétaire éponyme : l''accueil est en outre tout à fait généreux, le propriétaire prenant le temps de détailler les commodités de cet appartement de charme. La terrasse en bois est plus qu''une simple terrasse, c''est plutôt une extension du studio, aménagée avec la même attention. C''est aussi une ouverture discrète sur les vibrations du centre historique, juste au pied de l''immeuble... Bref, le plan i-d-é-a-l. M. & K.'

'We rented the apartment for one week in july this year. The apartment is perfect for a couple, and the veranda at the roof is a lovely place to sit in the evening. Alessandro is the most welcomming host you can think of, and speaks perfect english. The place is in the old senter of Alghero and close to everything you want to see and do in the town. If you have a car; we hihgly recomand some trips around in the area, there are a lot of lovely places and beaches around.'

'Wonderful apartment in great location. Very modern décor with everything you need included within the apartment. In a central location right on the edge of the Old Town, conveniently situated with Bars, Restaurants and shops right outside the front door together with all the historic sites Alghero has to offer. The apartment benefits from a large veranda that has great views and sunshine all day with the added bonus that the noise from the street below does not cause any problems what so ever. A great place for couples and even small families as the smaller room would be large enough for the kids. Alessandro was an extremely gracious host offering information and assistance when required and we cant thank him enough for picking us up and dropping us off at the airport. Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to see the real Sardinia. *5 Stars* '

'Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar. Bij aankomst stond een fles wijn voor ons klaar en een grote fruitschaal. Het appartement was schoon en zag er verzorgd uit. Het is groot genoeg voor twee personen. Erg ruim is het niet maar dit wordt ruimschoots gecompenseerd door het grote dakterras. Het ligt midden in het oude centrum van Alghero. Er gezellig, mooie winkels, goede sfeer en je kunt er lekker eten. Er is geen lift aanwezig in het appartement (4e verd.) Geen enkel pand in het oude centrum van Algero heeft een lift, dus dit namen wij op de koop toe. Zeker een aanrader. wij gaan volgend jaar weer. '

'Non appena ho varcato la soglia dell'appartamento,ho capito subito di aver fatto la scelta giusta. Casa stupenda,centralissima e con una terrazza favolosa. Unico neo:il parcheggio, ma non particolarmente significativo. Proprietario gentilissimo,simpatico e molto disponibile. Consiglio a tutti.'
