Covered back porch with outdoor furniture and grill. Storage building with washer and dryer. Close to Cherokee Boat Ramp and near the house is Shriver's Creek Boat Ramp. Adorable cabin on the lake

Perfect break from a hectic weak. Cute cabin right on the water. Quiet and relaxing. Would recommend and return again.

disappointed

Unfortunately, we were unable to access the cottage because the lock codes were incorrect. We made numerous attempts to contact the owners in order to access the cottage. After we returned home, the owner did text us a different access code. We did look at the dock and beautiful lake while there. We did notice that the dock was in need of some safety repairs. The outside of the cottage did not look like the pictures. We were very disappointed by this whole experience.

Cherokee Creek location

The neighbor was super friendly and offered to help with anything we needed, he made us feel welcome. Short distance from several boat ramps along the little river GA section of the lake. Lots of bait stores around the area for fishing.

Peaceful getaway on the Lake

Great place! It was as advertised and very clean. Quite getaway for my wife and I. I would recommend for couples wanting to get away for a week or weekend.

Amazing and peaceful

I enjoyed my stay so much, the view is incredible, it was so peaceful, so nice. I had opportunity to recharge and rest, which I needed so much. Just beautiful. Thank you!

Quiet Getaway

The owners were so kind and flexible with our changing plans. They really went the extra mile to accommodate us. This is a beautiful, quiet getaway. House is clean and remodeled beautifully. Would recommend bringing coffee and toiletries with you as the nearest store is a little bit of a drive. Perfect for pets and boating, fishing, or just sitting on the deck and reading.

Lake-side get-away

This property has a hot water issue. Had to turn on both the kitchen faucet and the bathroom faucet to get any hot water. Thinking this might be a pressure issue since the cabin had a tankless water heater. And the shower door won’t stay closed. If the owners fix those two issues, this will be a great, small get-away. Location on the lake is very nice. Dirt road leading to the cabin is somewhat of a challenge.

Awesome place for boating on the lake

My wife and I stayed here for a week with our boat. The house was clean and cozy with a great view of the lake. The dock is covered and easy to get the boat in and out. We launched at Double Branches which is right around corner. The driveway is a bit tight to back into with the trailer, so just be ready for some maneuvering. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. Neighbors were friendly and quiet.

Great getaway for couples!

The house was just as it was advertised. Very roomy for a one bedroom. The kitchen was beautiful and the king size bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in back porch every morning and late in the evening. The owners were very easy to work with. We will be back!

Great place.

The only complaint I had was that the dryer needed attention. It took forever to dry clothes. But overall it was great. Bed was comfortable, view was amazing. The air conditioner had a problem, but they immediately came and changed it out for a new one. I would stay again.

Bass Fishing

Our son is leaving for boot camp in Missouri May 10, so he asked if we could go on one last bass fishing trip before he left. We picked Clark’s Hill. This cabin had everything we needed. We left our boat at the dock under the roof protected from the elements the 5 nights we were there. Felt safe and secure in doing so. There is a boat ramp about 4 miles from the house. The house cooled well with the AC. The gas grill was nice, and the house was the perfect size. The kitchen was very nice. If we were to return to this lake we would definitely stay here again. Shower has good water pressure King size bed Beautiful views from the screened porch Nice new washer/dryer Gas grill Boat dock Power at boat dock Nice kitchen and appliances Bass were biting!n

Fantastic little cottage on the lake

We were looking for a place on a lake to get away for the weekend and this place was perfect. The owners have updated all the appliances, remodeled the inside and the view is amazing. We spent a lot of time on the back porch enjoying the lake. It is definitely out of the way, quiet and peaceful. One thing to point out is that it is about a mile down a well maintained unpaved road and you are quite a ways from the nearest town so stock up on supplies.

Check your access info first! Great sunsets and location

Communicate directly with Drew and Christine before your stay! We only looked at VRBO and were locked out the first night. Drew was great and gave us that night for free when we talked the next day. Minor error and it was fixed. The neighbors have no association with this property and prefer not to be bothered. When we went asking for help and they made that very clear. The cabin is recently renovated with a beautiful kitchen and spacious bedroom. It’s a great couples get away location. Augusta is close by for shopping needs. The neighborhood had lots of (friendly) dogs.
