Newly renovated three bedroom one bath home -sleeps 5. Heat and Air Conditioning. Internet. Hulu & Live TV. New kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances. Ample parking. Large Deck with table for 6 and additional seating for 4 with beautiful view and amazing sunsets. Breakwall with 80 feet of water frontage. Can fish directly from the breakwall. Ladder access to water level. No dock. Gas Grill. Firepit. Two Kayaks for your use. Various board games and decks of cards. Outdoor lawn games (horseshoes & bocci ball). Boat launch nearby. Ten minutes from Sodus Bay. Channel access to Lake Ontario. 15 minutes to Chimney Bluff State Park and wineries and 20 minutes to Fair Haven State Park (beach). No smoking or vaping inside please. No pets. No parties. To respect neighbors quiet time is before 9am and after 10pm.

If you're looking for a place in the Port Bay area, this is it! Joyce, the homeowner, was incredibly helpful from the start, providing us with all the details we needed about the house and the surrounding area—think local attractions, dining spots, and shopping options. We enjoyed the stunning views, especially at sunset and our daily visit from the chipmunk. This home was spotless and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. While we did encounter some rain during our three-day stay, I would love to return when the weather is nicer to fully enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Thanks, Joyce, for sharing your lovely home with us! I wholeheartedly recommend this home if you want to relax and unwind in a beautiful setting.

Super nice rental, when they say on the water they mean it!!! All the amenities of home, but being able to fish off the patio. Birds and other wildlife highly abundant. Recommend this as your next vacation spot!!! Also quiet and serene.

This is a peaceful quiet neighborhood and the property is well kept with lots of floral flowers and unique shrubbery. The cottage is well kept clean with modern updates. The host is very accommodating with extra amenities and generous with extra supplies you may forget. The host is also diligent in making sure your stay is comfortable and reassuring that she is readaly available if you need her. 5 stars!

Gem of a Spot

I did not want to leave the view. It is such a wonderful little slice of relaxation. The deck overlooking the water and big, shady tree made our time outside really enjoyable (and not overly hot for July). The place itself is beautiful and well-appointed with everything you may need from pots/pans to first aid supplies in the bathroom. The hosts were super responsive (when we couldn't figure out how to turn something on), and really kind. I highly recommend staying at here and hope to be back next year sometime.

Loved this place . Only complaint I have is your not allowed to have company we were renting this place for a wedding reception in town . Had company stop by for a visit as we were all arriving from out of town . Owner is on property watching your every move !!! If you want to go there and watch tv this is the place for you . No fun allowed !!!

I booked this for my 80+ parents that i brought up from Florida for my daughters wedding. At 84, nothing is usually going to be good enough as my parents are very set in their ways and nothinhis as comfyable as home. I was surprised that they had not one complaint and would even consider another trip up north if they could stay in Wolcott again. Bravo!!!

Great location, only 10 min from family, beautiful spot, clean, easy access & check in. So appreciative of owner working with me when I realized I made a mistake in my booking dates, to adjust it 1 day more. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Did not realize just how small & narrow the hallway & bathroom would be, or the single bedroom, as it was a very tight fight for my adult daughter. It worked, as we were basically there to sleep, more so than to hang around there. The 2 steps up into the kitchen are a bit tall to step, especially for my 80 yo mother, and walking sock footed (since we followed the leave shoes at door), made them a bit unsafe in my opinion, as it is a potential fall hazard, being slippery, no grips. Also had a few large black ants...nothing major, but just a heads up to maybe bait them.We were able to have family come the last evening to do a little fishing. Weather was perfect, couldn't ask for any better.

We did not see ants when cleaning for your stay. We put out bait stations right away and property is sprayed twice a year to keep nature at bay. Sorry you had trouble with the two steps to the upper level. We do have a stair railing. Guests should always put safety first if following house rules such as leave shoes at the door. We do agree that the 3rd bedroom is cozy. Our family of 5 have always been comfortable at the cottage. Glad we were able to accomodate your need for an extra night. Joyce

We had a good feeling in entering. Everything was clean and well maintained. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The kitchen had nice appliances and plenty of dishes and silverware. The location is very pleasant and so nice to look out on the water. The owner was quick to respond to any questions.

Perfect Fall Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Beautiful surroundings. Fire in the fire pit. Fishing in the bay.We saw swans on the Bay that took off and flew. What a sight! House was clean and well equipped. I would return if the opportunity presents itself.

Pictures online dont do the place justice

Beautiful cottage, loved the deck and backyard overlooking the water. Place was very clean & beautifully decorated...especially loved the oversized couch!! My onlycomplaint, reason for giving 4 stars instead of 4, the bed we slept in was very uncomfortable. It felt like I was sleeping on an old spring mattress with no support. Compared to everything else, I expected higher quality. Other than that, & the constant dropping of acorns on roof (no big deal, cant do anything about it) our stay was perfect!!!

This house and property was exactly what we were looking for. The house was spotless and up to date. The home owner reached out to us and was easy to contact if we needed anything. Excellent property and Stay

Very nicely located and furnished property, with a very useful and perfectly located deck 25 feet from Port Bay. Incredible views, with a great variety of water fowl and eagles spotted from the deck. Owners were excellent communicators and have made this place a go to for visits back to Wolcott. All aspects of this stay were positives, not one con that I can think of.
