Red Fox Retreat

Red Fox Retreat is a cozy 1 bedroom + Loft, 2 bath three level A-frame Mountain Chalet. Starting from the top floor you have your loft master suite loft with a full bathroom, a king-size bed that opens out to the cathedral ceiling, and large picture windows with views of Yosemite Pine trees, a great place to wake up refreshed to start your day. On the main floor, you have a fully equipped kitchen that opens out to your dining/living room area with a flat screen TV, DVD player, and a deck with BBQ and chairs. This home does not have Satellite TV so bring your favorite DVDs! Starlink Wi-Fi is free. On the basement floor, you have another bedroom with a queen size bed with wood floors and cedar walls, and a full bath that is shared. This home is also equipped with laundry facilities.

Our first visit to Yosemite and we couldn’t have asked for a better location or a better place to stay. There was significant snow while we were here and they kept the streets and even our driveway clear. Will definitely look to book this location again on any future trips.

Fantastic!

Not only was the location perfect for access to the park and the community quiet, it was perfect for our family. Everything was well thought out and had more than we needed. Loved it and would stay there again if we make it back to Yosemite.

This gorgeous chalet retreat nestled among sequoias and pines was perfect for my family's first trip to Yosemite. We loved being in the park. This is close to the Mariposa Grove where you can hike a bit to some famous Giant Sequoia. It is about 40 min drive to Yosemite Valley, which was fine for us. We managed the stairs just fine. Once we saw about 10 deer while driving nearby! We cooked in the kitchen (bring your own oils, etc) and it worked well with a nice dining table. The window views are incredible- even from the upstairs bedroom!

Loved Yosemite

Location was ideal for a visit to the park. Wish the Internet service was better, but that was fully disclosed upfront.

Our Retreat to the Red Fox

This was an amazing experience! We came in April, the place was very well kept and we loved all the interior decor. The gas fireplace made an excellent centerpiece for nightly board games with the kids after long hikes in Yosemite. It was very close to the park and we did not even go through an entire tank of gas during a 4 day trip with commute to and from Yosemite valley. This place is highly recommended. I loved spending nights looking at the stars from the deck. The memories had here will be forever! 10:10 recommended!

Beautiful view to wake up to. Perfect for a visit to Yosemite.

This is the perfect location to visit Yosemite, if you don't stay in the village. It also nice to be able to come back to a place were you can relax and cook your own meals. The place was very clean and well equipped. We had Thanksgiving dinner after a beautiful day hiking in Yosemite. It is actually a two bedroom with two full bathrooms, but the upstairs master is open to the living room below so you can look out the huge windows from upstairs. It doesn't feel like you're exposed though.

Very Nice house. picture very deceiving..there is another full flight of stairs below the one pictured. when you are bringing a few suitcases and food it is more to shelp up. Also you don't see the stairs going up to the kitchen or the other set of stairs going up to the second bedroom.. the neighbors have a nice dogs that howl alll night and don't let you sleep.

Hello and thank you for the opportunity to respond to this review. We felt it was more important to show the amenities of the house rather than the staircases. We do have coyotes up here and they sometimes howl at night and we know it can be disturbing to our guests and to us but we have no control over the wildlife. Warm Regards

We stayed at Coyote Walk ...

We stayed at Coyote Walk for 4 days in April of 2008. The place was perfect for our needs. It is located inside the gates of the park, which is very convenient, was comfortable, nicely decorated with a well equiped kitchen and comfortable beds. The washer and dryer located downstairs was extremely handy to have. We would definitely come back !
