Located 8 miles from Jackson’s Town Square, Solitude at Shootin’ Iron is slightly south of town. After a brief jaunt down the highway, a few turns along country roads, guests arrive at a long driveway leading to the home. After driving past the on-property caretaker’s guest house, the main home stands at the end of the driveway, a powerful display of log beams and stone masonry. The mountain views across the home abound and whispers of the Snake River can be heard in the wind blowing down from the mountains. Upon entering Solitude, guests are greeted by an interior as grand as the Tetons themselves. Vaulted ceilings give the home a feeling of true expansiveness at first glance. The great room exemplifies joys of mountain living. Sofas and armchairs surround the two-story stone fireplace, and a widescreen television in the corner of the room makes family movie night a relaxed affair. The floor-to-ceiling windows fill the space with warm, natural lighting. During the summer months, the patio attached to the great room is the perfect spot for the family to gather around the grill and enjoy Jackson’s incredible weather. The custom, in-ground hot tub heightens your outdoor living experience as you soak under the stars, and the fire pit makes for a wonderful gathering to make s'mores and great conversation.

On the note of cooking, the kitchen and dining room are among the most special areas of the home’s main level. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and wooden accents all define the impeccably designed kitchen. Prep space abounds in all areas of the kitchen, and the central island will take center stage while you prepare your meals. The island features a gorgeous Wolf range serviced by a tile-accented hood, and opposite the range, you will find bar seating for six. Once the meal is ready to be served, your family can gather in the dining nook and seat themselves at the large round table.

Solitude at Shootin’ Iron features five spacious bedrooms, three on the main level and two on the upper level. The master suite is located on the main level of the home. This gorgeous bedroom features a king-size bed, a hand-crafted desk, a flat-screen television, and direct access to the backyard. In the master bathroom, you will find an expansive walk-in closet, a rainfall shower, and a jetted bathtub. The other main level bedrooms feature a king- and queen-size bed and each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. Another king bedroom is found on the upper level, along with a bedroom featuring two queen beds, and both bedrooms contain en suite bathrooms. Additionally, the upper level features a pool table, perfect for family fun.
