We found the check in process a little confusing. Thebway the instructions are written, doesn't make it clear that obtaining a key fob is needed for the main entrance. We figured it out after arriving. We then had to go to the Key West vacas office to obtain the fob. Checking out was also confusing. The instructions did not say what we had to do with the fob when Checking out. I called the Vacasa office to find out we had to return the fob. Please write instructions that are very clear. We had to make two trips to Vaca office that we hadn't planned on. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience!

Excellent with one complaint

Property itself was awesome. However, the elevator was not working the entire week. It prevented a good friend from being able to visit. Very disappointed nobody informed us of this prior to check in.

Great location!

The condo was just as advertised!! Very roomy and comfortable furniture! The outside view is stunning! Perfect distance to Duval and surrounding areas for activities! Very quiet unit! Nice pool and very clean! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really liked the location! We felt very safe with the location also! The only issue we had was determining which gates the keys worked with and only one of our keys worked on the gates. It would be helpful for future visitors to be told which gates to use as there were at least 4 of them. Overall a 10 out of 10! I would stay there again!

Best location in Key West

Gorgeous marina-front view. Clean, spacious condo. Kitchen needed more dishes, glasses, pans, etc. so if you plan to cook in take this into account. The beds were comfortable and I've never rented a KW condo that had bathrooms so big!

Key West Retreat

We always enjoy renting a space that is larger than we need. This is a large 2/2 that gives a wonderful view of the water. Beautiful sunsets right off the balcony. It was updated and very clean. There are no staples in the kitchen except salt and pepper along with Folgers in filter packs. We didn't rent a car and everything you need is accessible with lots of restaurant options. We did rent a golf cart for 24hrs mid-week and toured the island and went to the Publix and bought a couple of days of meals to cook. We went to Fausto's and CVS a couple of times as well for conveniences. Things to note: Use the pool key to access the pool AND the back gate to the waterfront. In order to get into the back gardens and walkway, you need to access the pool area through the garage or go into 115 to get outside to the back gate. The key on the ring with the fob will work on the Truman access gate (one side) on Caroline Street. Our key didn't work on the other gates we tried. If you don't know about the back gate or the Caroline gate key, you will have to walk the long way around through the Southard entrance after 6pm. That is when the gates are closed. This was a bummer on day one because we hadn't figured out the key access. All said, I loved walking through Truman Annex. It is a pure oasis from the noise and crowds of the waterfront and Duval. Our week was great and we will rent again!!

Beautiful property! Great location!

Condo was wonderful and the location can't be beat! If you arrive after office is closed make sure you arrange beforehand to get the fob/key from office lockbox. This will allow you to enter the condo building. You will get an access code for the condo unit itself. Also, you will need to go to the office to get a parking pass for parking in the garage. This is not a complaint but thought it would help someone in the future when checking in after hours. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful getaway!

This rental was within walking distances to many of our favorite restaurants. The space was well used. Views amazing. The elevator was a huge plus!

Great condo and....

The condo was extremely clean, well kept and the amenities did not disappoint. The unit is directly ocean front, and had plenty of room for 2 couples. The balcony was also great. Additionally, although we had one issue, Vacasa (the host) immediately took care of it efficiently.

Great Condo

The condo was located near everything. Walking distance to Duval Street and Mallory Square. Watched the cruise ships come in from the balcony. The sunset from the balcony was beautiful. It was well stocked with everything you need! Could have had a Keurig which would have been great. Would suggest adding one in the kitchen.

Great condo, great location!

Just a 5 minute walk to Duval Street and surrounding area. You can choose to take the 5 minute walk to Mallory Square for the sunset, or just watch it from the balcony. Being a part of the Truman Annex was great. It was convenient, but quiet. More information about the keys would’ve been nice. The fob gave access to the building, which we knew. The keys were for gates that lock the Truman Annex to public access at approx 5:00. We obviously tried the keys and they worked, but this information wasn’t given prior to trying it ourselves. We also had to search for the stairs and trash room, as the doors in the building aren’t marked. A map/layout of the building/grounds would be nice to have in the unit. Also, we could see the pool, but had to walk around to discover how to access. The unit itself was roomy, clean and perfect for two couples Neighbors below weren’t friendly. I realize this is their permanent home, but they didn’t even return normal greetings. The only time they spoke to us was to tell us that we were making water fall down on them - “water” in question was residual water from a storm the night of our arrival, and a rainstorm during the week. It made us feel like we had to tiptoe around them and that they might complain for any little noise or action they didn’t like. We were respectful of the noise level, of their privacy, and weren’t even in the unit most of the time. Would rent again if those residents weren’t living there.

Great little condo!

This condo was absolutely perfect for me and my husband. The location was ideal. We had a perfect view of the sunset every night. It’s close to everything without being right in the center of Duval Street. We’ll definitely be returning!

Vacation

We really enjoyed the condo unit. Everything was just like it was pictured. The only problem we had was through Vacasa, the keys we were given did not work on the gates properly. We had to call because of the iguana poop all around the swimming pool and was told by the Vacasa that maintenance is done once a week and if we wanted to pay extra, they would send someone that day. That is unacceptable. Anyone could have stepped in it and then got it in the pool. You’ll definitely need eyepatch if you’re sensitive to the morning sunlight because it comes right in through the bedroom windows. Luckily, I had purchased them for the trip. It was a pain to have to return the keys back to the Vacasa office prior to leaving it would make more sense just to leave them in the condo rather than make a special trip to drop the keys off.

Great location and view

In the mornings you can admire the harbour and sit on the balcony. By 1 pm it’s too hot to do so with the sub blazing down, but it’s ok by sunset, which is a big deal in key west. Pool is nice and the restaurants and bars are all an easy walk.
