Great spot on the bay

Great hosts and great location! So many good restaurants, quiet and clean beach, and very short drive to other beach towns. Property was clean and we loved sitting on the patio at night. Thanks, Peter!

Perfect place for two!!! Why stay at a hotel when you can have this place!

Wife and I enjoyed our short getaway to the shore. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the boats during the day and all the lights from AC at night. I highly recommend this place for any couples to have a nice getaway. The owners are very nice and so is their place.

We stayed for a week at Peter's tranquil apartment on the bay side of Ventnor Heights. Great little place in quiet neighborhood

Love the view of the bay and the outdoor space. Perfect for the two nights! AC was nice and cold which was great for the hot weekend. Love that we can make a cup of coffee and sit outside. Easy host with great communication!

Great Stay at a relaxing waterfront property

Despite the limited space indoors, the expansive porch area compensated for it. The property's waterfront location provided refreshing cool winds, and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings and leisurely walks. We found the neighbors to be exceptionally amiable, particularly during our dog walks, creating a sense of familiarity. Overall, it was a delightful trip, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return.

After daughter’s wedding vacation

My husband, our dog and I stayed a week at this lovely studio right on the water. We wanted a quiet getaway after our daughter’s wedding. It did not disappoint. The unit was clean and comfortable. Having morning coffee on the deck watching the birds, even an osprey was rejuvenating. Our host Peter was very accommodating. Looking forward to another visit.

Amazing

My stay was amazing Peter our host was personable, accommodating and friendly. The day, and the outside deck area was so peaceful. He really didn’t even need to leave the property you could float on the bay hang out on the porch go tubing and the beach was only a couple blocks away, the air-conditioning was nice and cool the bed was comfortable and he allowed for me to bring my two small dogs. I highly recommend this beautiful efficiency for those looking for a private peaceful vacation also it was very private thank you Peter.

Nice but pricey

I did like the bay front property but you only have a very small room no full kitchen I think it was a little bit on the expensive side for what it was also tenants were home the entire time living above us

Tyler Glad that you enjoyed your stay. The beauty of my place is really the outdoors and the view. In the warmer months you could have enjoyed the deck much more or uses the paddle board off of the dock. Come back again in the summer for the full experience Cheers Peter

This is a tiny but beautiful studio which opens up to a shaded deck with a large table and relaxing seating area. We loved sitting out there and watching the rowers go by. Peter provided bikes and beach chairs, which was great. We take too many things to the beach to ride our bikes, but we drove early and easily found cheap public parking to the beach. No stove and we washed dishes in the bathroom, but we got takeout and ate on the deck.

SUPER 2019 LABOR DAY STAY

We cannot say enough great things about our entire experience with Peter and his wonderful property. This is a super cute very well appointed studio on the bay. Peter has thought of everything - coffee, wine on arrival (wow!), a small refrigerator (with freezer) (wow). It just has everything. The location is also a "10". Very convenient to Atlantic City and there is an ACME within walking distance. Additionally, Peter is an A+++ host - EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING! I had a LOT OF QUESTIONS and he answered them all. We also had some accommodation needs after we arrived and he he was very helpful in every way. We were set to have a fantastic time, but he really helped make our Labor Day stay even better! We look very forward to visiting again SOON!

Perfect place to say

Cute efficiency with everything you need. Quiet street and great views. Pete was a great host and I enjoyed talking with him. The neighbors are super friendly. I felt like I was hanging out with old friends I met so many people while walking my dogs around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. It’s easy to get to the beach and lots of cool spots within walking distance. There was more than enough room for me and the two dogs. I loved the extension of living space outside. Perfectly shaded once the morning sun was gone. Lots of birds, fish, and turtles to watch. Having access to the water right outside the back door was awesome. I was able to swim and paddle board without having to leave the property I would definitely stay here again.

Great Rental!

My husband and I stayed for two nights. The property is exactly as described and was very clean and comfortable. Keurig, small fridge/freezer, microwave. Plenty of glasses, dishes, silverware, towels, etc. Everything we needed was provided. Plenty of ice from the ice machine on the deck. If we weren't at the beach, boardwalk or eating at one of the many great restaurants close by, we were on the deck enjoying the view of the water and AC; especially beautiful when the sun is going down and at night. Great, fast communication from Peter. And, he met us on our arrival to make sure all was well and that we had everything that we needed. I highly recommend this property and would return in a heartbeat. Thanks Peter & Liz!

Many Plusses, Some Minuses

The owner was great, very responsive and was easily reachable as he lives above the apt. Included in this studio apt are beach tags, complimentary bottle of wine, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, kitchen utensils, linens, hairdryer and more. The view of the bay is really spectacular and the neighborhood is quiet. The minuses are no light blocking curtains so the room is filled with light early and that noise from the owner upstairs is evident especially at night (footsteps, TV,music). Also there is not really any sitting space in the room. Since we had great weather, the outdoor table and sofa made it feel like a full apartment. Overall it seemed worth it to me!

A Nice Retreat for Short Stays

The apartment is right on the water. Just outside the door is a nice deck with a sitting area and table with 4 chairs. Inside, the apartment is a studio with comfortable king-sized bed and bathroom. You should plan to bring shampoo, soap, etc for the shower. It's a small apartment, but the owners have made great use of the space. In addition to a TV, there is a toaster oven and microwave, but no cooktop, so don't plan to cook meals inside. There is a grill on the deck, though. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to a couple of restaurants, coffee shop and ice-cream shop. It is a short drive over the bridge to more restaurants and the beach. We used the available bikes to ride into Margate one day, which we really enjoyed. It was perfect for a quick weekend trip!

All Inclusive and Beautiful

My husband, dog, and I stayed here for a weekend! What a beautiful place - right on the water! We loved having access to the water to swim and bikes to ride around town. Peter (and his neighbor) were wonderful hosts! Perfect for couples or a solo stay!

Favorite VRBO yet

Amazing place! Everything is clean and up to date. Peter is easily available and has obviously put some real thought into making a special rental unit. The patio and view of Atlantic City (not to mention fishing Ospreys) just can’t be beat. And the location is walking distance to anything you want. We will try to stay here every time we are in the area. Thank you!

Mixed Feelings

Based on the review criteria, this VRBO may deserve a 4 star rating but there were underlying things that made it a 2-3 star rating for us...namely 1) Uncomfortable temperature in the apartment; 2) Sleep disruptions nightly due to noise and temperature; 3) Lack of privacy and; 4) Obstructed views (not as advertised). The owner lives on property. I am not an early riser when on vacation. The heavy footsteps over our heads early in the morning woke us every day. We were out late each night with friends and expected to be able to sleep in so this left us feeling pretty rundown after our time there which a good night's sleep would have easily fixed. There was also a small dog in the house that barked A LOT (every day), interrupting the peaceful environment other reviews spoke of. At one point the dog was tied up outside by our door and just kept barking with no response from the owner. We were trying to listen to relaxing music while getting ready for the day but instead listened to nonstop barking. The view would have been as lovely as described in the VRBO listing as well if it had not been blocked by a very large boat docked where the patio/living space is. The patio seating basically creates the living space for the rental. Since the boat was there at the dock, the owners came and went in that living space throughout the weekend. This left us with little privacy as they could easily see into the rental or walk into the rental's living space which was not uncommon as they would come and go in the boat. And last but not least, we had no control of the temperature in the efficiency apartment. We asked for it to be set at 70 which is where we set ours at home. Peter, the owner, would promptly change the temp when asked but we were very uncomfortable having to repeatedly ask so several times we just dealt with it...not so easy when drying long hair and taking showers and heating up the small space with such. The inside temp was also a factor in the lack of sleep we experienced. It was a very humid week in Ventnor and the apartment does not have its own thermostat. I do think Peter would do his best to accommodate any of his guests as he is a quick responder but most of these concerns are not resolvable simply due to the setup of this apartment and the owner's lifestyle. He is a very nice person but this was not the right set up for us as privacy, sleep and comfortable temps are must haves on vacation and this property did not allow for that.

Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful bay location and perfect space

Perfect set up for my friend and I and my 6 year old Irish Doodle for 4vdays. Relaxing, peaceful, quiet and so serene. Definitely would recommend this rental on the bay and absolutely will be back again. Thank you! It was an amazing getaway for us!!
