Great spot! Perfect for a short fall get-away.Loved walking to Jockey’s ridge and the sound. Beach access short drive away. Quiet, serene house. Loved the privacy and front porch rockers. Great kitchen.

Excellent hosts, quiet neighborhood, and comfortable 1-bedroom apartment that is adjacent to the main house. Everything was perfect. Located across the road from the Jockey Ridge State park with a 5-minute walk to the sound side of the park and its beach and trails. Beautiful. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect for all we wanted to do. We took the dogs since this was a pet friendly place. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Our host was responsive and kind.

Charming place to stay.

Set off a quiet road, able to walk your dog or cross the road and take a walk on the sand dunes of Jockey Ridge State Park. Only wish, is that we could have stayed longer.

This was a fantastic location for all the day trips we planned to explore the Outer Banks. Right across the quiet road is the famous Jockey’s Ridge dunes. The property owners were very responsive and provided all we needed. I would absolutely stay there again, and highly recommend.

Great Location

Great Location where you can walk down to the sound or take a short drive to public beach access. Parking leaves a lot to be desired.

Slice of paradise!

We had an amazing time staying here. The walk to the beach at the sound was short and the property had beach toys, chairs, an umbrella and even a wagon to get it to the beach. Next time we're in the area, we will definitely see if this property is available!

Quaint little beach retreat

This was a cute little place for my family and I. The living quarters were a little tight there were 3 adults and 2 kids. But we knew we would be out and about not really hanging out there. I really thought the place was very clean and had everything we needed. I really loved the shampoo and soaps they provided in the bathroom. We would definitely stay again.

12 seconds to the moon

Place is a central location. You can be at the beach in about 5 min or the sound beach in about 3 min . Jockeys ridge in 1 min ! The Wright Brothers memorial less than 10 min . I actually went there twice . Anyway... A nice place to stay .

Beautiful Apartment and close to beach!

Such a beautiful apartment and perfect size for our family vacation! It was within walking distance to a little-kid friendly and dog-friendly beach. Also a very short drive to the public beaches and restaurants. It’s attached to the owners home but we still felt like we had privacy with our own little porch and 2 entrances. The owners were friendly and accessible if we needed anything. The TVs had a Roku which had every possible channel / streaming network available. Extremely clean and had everything we could need! We would recommend this cute place to anyone. Made us feel like we lived near the beach!

Comfy, quiet and beautiful

We stayed 5 days at this very well appointed suite. It is in a quite neighborhood, 1 minute away from the sound and 5 minutes away from the beach. It is right in front of the dunes, so you just need to grab a pair of shoes, your hat, some water, and if you have kids don’t forget a kite and a board to enjoy all the fun at this beautiful park. The host, Erica, is super friendly and kind, she even left a bottle of wine for us and candy for the kids. This little suite has everything you need to cook your meals, sip your favorite coffee and have some good nights of sleep. The house was very clean which for me is the most important aspect to consider when looking for a place to stay with my family.

Great Location

We stayed here with my wife and our little pup. We had a great 2 day stay. We loved the dunes where we could just walk up to. We arrived in the evening and went to walk up the dunes with our pup and saw a huge fox growling at our small pul. Please have your dogs on leash. Fox calmly went away after i scared him away. If he wasn’t on the leash things might have gone a different way. The beach was just walking distance and we enjoyed the time at the beach. The property is very nice. Has separate entry and exit. Very quiet. Would recommend to future visitors

Excellent apartment in Nags Head

We had an amazing time on our beach getaway, owing much of this to Erica’s apartment. The check in process was seamless, and the unit was spotless, clearly newly refurbished, very comfortable. The kitchen was big, and we had everything we needed. The best part however is the location, right between the sound and the ocean, literally directly facing Jockey Ridge with views of the sand dunes out window. Each morning we walked with l our dog and 3 year old to the sand dune trails (approximately 5 mins from the apartment) which was a highlight of our trip. The only thing to note is that there Is a short walk from the parking spot provided to the front door which made loading and unloading slightly more difficult but Erica provided a wheel barrow which made things a lot easier! Overall we were extremely impressed (and we can be a bit picky) and would definitely stay again!!! 5 stars all around.

An elegant retreat

From before our stay until the end of our stay was nothing but spectacular. Our host was excellent. They contacted us before our trip & kept us updated until check in. After our stay they checked back in with us to see how our stay was. The place was clean , beautiful & we felt right at home. We highly recommend this rental. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing a part of your home with us.

Great Place to Stay!

My husband and I brought our two dogs with us to stay here. The neighborhood was perfect for dog walking, and we often walked them to the park at the end of the street for some beach time. The apartment was cute and it is obvious the owners have put a lot of thought into the place. It was also very clean. I would definitely stay here again!
