A Wonderful cottage in the heart of the forest with pool and patio
We have just arrived back from 2 weeks staying in this idyllic cottage. The photos that have been posted don't do it justice!
The owner Bruno and his father Christoph are very accommodating and are available to answer any questions. With regards to The pool, it is available to use between the hours of 11am and 8pm . And whenever we wanted to go in it we were left in peace but we wouldn't have minded if the owners wànted to use it too.
The cottage is fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and oven.
The only negative I would say is that there should be a bug net at the front door as the mosquitoes are lethal and because of this we had to keep the door shut at all times otherwise they would get in, which they did and 3 bottles of jungle formula later and still got bitten! There is a net at the bedroom window and bathroom window too.
The town is a 20 minute walk down hill which we walked on a number of occasions, but take a torch if walking back at night as is pitch black! It has lovely restaurants and bars, a lovely town square with a fresh water fountain which apparently turns to wine on the 15th August for one day! and a little supermarket but the nearest big supermarket is in Pierrefue which is only 10 minute drive away.
Bruno has a lovely Rhodesian Ridgeback dog called Nimba who after a couple of barks and tentative sniffs came to see us almost every day . He is absolutely gorgeous. So, thank you Bruno for a lovely memorable break and maybe see you again one day!:Heide and Kevin
