Firefly at Lazy River Cabins on Mt Fork River

Located on the banks of the lower Mt Fork River, Firefly is an 1100 sq ft cabin perfect for couples and families.
Enjoy kayaking, swimming, fishing, and sun bathing on the private boat ramp just steps away or just relaxing around the firepit with firewood provided! The indoor fireplace is decorative only.
Firefly sits on 3.5 acres with its sister cabin, Riverhawk Lodge. Both cabins combined can sleep 28 guests. The cabins offer ample parking and a huge yard for kids to play and explore.
Come enjoy the gorgeous views and clear water of the Mt Fork River!

Often groups will rent Firefly along with Riverhawk so even more family and friends can enjoy the unique setting of being directly on the river.

Management is just a couple minutes away and always available through texts, messages, or phone calls to help with any questions about the cabin, your stay, or local attractions.

We are located in Broken Bow, OK, and a short 25 minute drive to Hochatown USA, Beavers Bend State Park, and Broken Bow Lake.

Firefly offers a playset for the kids to enjoy as well as 2 kayaks for guest to use on site during their stay. Our area has so many local attractions for you to enjoy if you so choose. You can plan an action packed vacation doing things such as go karts, zip lining, kayaking, jet ski and boat rentals, horseback rides, great restaurants and eateries, wineries, breweries, ATV rentals, shopping, spas, and tons of other options. We suggest making reservations as soon as you choose your dates for any activities you'd like to do to secure your spot.

We are pet friendly! Please add the number of pets you will be bringing while completing the reservation. The max allowed is two dogs without prior approval.

RULES Please read the rental agreement carefully. It basically states you wonā€™t sue us and the pet fee will be deducted from your security deposit if you donā€™t pay it. The security deposit is a hold placed on the credit card on file, not an actual charge. It will be released after your check out when no damage is caused to the property. The security deposit for Firefly is $300.

The most amazing time ever

The cabin is stocked with anything and everything you can need or want! Itā€™s perfect. The view was wonderful. They had kayaks to use, a porch swing, seating in any place you would want and all the supplies for sā€™mores! The water is right there. The views were wonderful and the hospitality off the chain. I willl be back!

Relaxing weekend

This little cabin is plenty of space for 2 couples to enjoy. It perfect and quiet short walk to the river. The owners dogs were the best ambassadors and they stopped by a few times to greet us and say bye. Happiest pets on earth and why wouldn't they be they are living on Hochatime :)

2nd trip to Firefly

This is our 2nd time to stay at Firefly and we just love it, I'm sure it won't be the last. I wish it had been warm enough to kayak again but we enjoyed the fire pit and patio this trip. It's an easy drive into Hochatown but we spent more time in the town of Broken Bow and really enjoyed a new restaurant called Brick and Bread, cute little gift shop next to it as well. The cabin has the perfect setup for two couples, king beds that are very comfortable and two full bathrooms, the kitchen is well stocked with supplies if you want to stay in and cook. The owners are so gracious and easy to contact, Dawnisa will get back with you almost immediately. Looking forward to next time!

Great Stay

Great place to stay, a little off the main street but that's what I was looking for. Had everything you needed supplied for you except couldn't find a broom or figure the shower out. But it was quite and relaxing just what we needed. We had wonderful bonding time playing games, jacuzzi, sitting around the fire. We will definitely be back. First time to the area but not the last.

Great cabin on the river

The cabin and the management team are perfect. The cabin sets just off the river with full access. Kayaks are provided and the fishing was decent. The quite evening in the hot tub are very enjoyable. Perfect little place to get away

Perfect river location

Pulling up to the property, we were greeted by the sweetest pups that some had mentioned in their reviews. The cabin and wrap-around porch are beautiful and way more than I expected. This owner has anticipated all of your needs. The cabin is perfectly stocked for an awesome stay. We spent most of our time on the river. We kayaked and fished all day and night. Kayaking in the river behind the house was perfect. The water was very clear. We drove into town once for dinner. We didn't really have to leave the cabin much. A hot tub out back was a perfect touch, but we were too tired to enjoy it after being in the water all day. The cabin is extremely clean. Great layout. The owners are very responsive and available if the need arises. My husband and I are definitely excited to book The Firefly again.

Yak trip with friends

We had such a wonderful time and absolutely loved the cabin! The location on the river is perfect for a kayaking trip, weā€™re already planning for our next trip. The weather was hot but the river was nice and cold, wish we had more time to spend there. The cabin is clean and cozy. It had everything we needed, including a well working AC unit, and the drive to town wasnā€™t bad at all. We had visits from a couple of sweet neighbor dogs, wish we couldā€™ve hung out outside more because the deck and fire pit area were so nice but we just couldnā€™t take the heat. The property owners were quick to reply to any questions we had and check in and out were easy, no issues at all. Thanks for sharing this lovely cabin, hope to be back again soon!

On the River

Clean cabin with great air-conditioning! Was 101-104 whole time there and cabin air kept up. This is our second stay and only place on the kayaking river without having to climb large number of stairs. Large parking area for pickup and trailers for group kayaking. Safe easy access to waters edge. Large fire pit area was nice upgrade to this location. Beds very comfortable in both bedrooms. Very large flat screen TV. Already planning next years tip.

Lovely stay at the Firefly cabin!

We had three nights at this this wonderful cabin. It provides most items you need, especially for just a few nights. We did a kayak trip and it was quite cold. The hot tub was fantastic to come back to and warm up. The beds are so comfortable, slept great! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Perfect Getaway
