This Unit was completed in April of 2019, The property was designed to be rented to Two couples or a family. Each Bedroom has its own bathroom complete with Jacuzzi Tubs, a separate Shower stall, and a separate toilet section each is identical. The 2 Bedrooms are large with new pillow top beds. The Kitchen is all cedar cabinets with Stainless steel appliances. There is even a laundry room. The den has a Queen sofa sleeper.
Many Golf courses including Arcadia Bluffs three coarse this year(10 minute drive), Wolf River Golf park, Manistee National Golf, Crystal Mountain Golf.
We specialize ourselves with the Many local lakes and rivers for all kinds of water sports activities. Several area hikes biking trails are close by including Arcadia Marsh walk and Baldy. We have easy access to local Snowmobile trails in the winter months, Winter Ski resorts including Crystal Mountain ( 20 minute drive) and Caberfae Peaks (30 minute drive).

Everything about our stay and experience was nothing short of amazing! Everything was very clean and well kept. The owners were great to deal with and helped with any questions about the stay and what to do in the area. This was a 10 out of 10 for us and will continue to come back every year!

We went to the area for golf. The location was near the courses that we played. The location was perfect for two couples as it had two master bedrooms with two master bathrooms. Each bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which came in handy after a day of golf. We loved our stay and will be back next time we are in the area.

You can't go wrong with this awesome rental

We cannot say enough good things about this property and our hosts Capt Bob and Kim. It's a great rental, very spacious, clean, and well equiped in an awesome location just off of Bear Lake.It was great for 2 couples. If we"re back in the area we will definitely stay here again!

Very nice clean spacious place. Was only able to enjoy it for 3 nights and weather wasn't very nice to us so didn't get to enjoy the kayaks or bikes. We did drive up M-22 and looked at the fall colors. We also stopped at a light house and seen some scenic views. The unit was comfy and had all the essentials. Owners are very friendly with lots of information on the area and helped us get our plans changed around. Thank you, definitely looking forward to coming out again hopefully enjoying the outdoors activities too.

Loved this property, the jacuzzi tubs were awesome, unlimited use of bikes, and kayaks. Full kitchen with all appliances, washer and dryer. Located in a very quiet area walking distance to Bear Lake. The host were awesome, highly recommend.

Fishing Lake Michigan

This property was just what we needed, It as out of the busy city but still close to areas we were visiting. The owner was very accommodating and informative about things to do, places to eat and where to get groceries! Itā€™s right on Bear Lake and the owner has access to several water activities and gear! Would definitely stay here again if we were to be in this area!

Very comfortable and super clean place

We loved our time here. Weā€™re already planning to come back. Itā€™s a very clean and comfortable place to stay. We visited a lot of nearby places and had this comfortable place to come home to everyday. Hubby was able to park the boat on the property and we were right near Bear Lake. Captain Bob was super helpful providing kayaks for us. I highly recommend Micks hideaway.

Fantastic

We had a wonderful time staying here. The extra's Bob has added made it feel like you were at home and make you never want to leave. Communication with Bob was immediate and a very pleasant person to talk to. Very happy to have picked this place to stay at. Bear Lake is a great area to check out.

Great stay in Bear Lake

This is our first time vacationing in MI. I was looking for an out-of-the-way area due to COVID. I really liked the area and water activities are the primary focus although there are abundant hiking trails as well. Bear Lake has a few restaurants and there are other towns nearby to visit also. We kept busy riding the bikes, kayaking and hiking. Very fun!

Clean, quiet, great stay!

Our stay was great, I was very impressed with how clean the place was!! It was a very quiet neighborhood in the middle of September. Communication with Captain Bob was phenomenal- he told us to let him know if we had any questions or concerns, which we ended up forgetting a crockpot and he loaned us his! He was available via text and responded quickly!! We wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay again if we find ourselves in the same area again!

Wonderful place to stay!

Micks hideaway has a lot to offer plus it's affordable, very clean, nicely done, and in the middle of everything. (You are in between Manistee & Frankfort.) You walk up the stairs into a beautiful, fully equipped, spacious space with a large deck. You could comfortably fit more than 6 people here! You are a block away from Bear Lake and a couple miles from Lake Michigan. We caught a sunset every night and ate some of our best meals. But if you want to eat in you have a full kitchen or you can grill. So many different beaches, breweries, rivers, trails...it doesn't matter what you are looking for, it's here somewhere, and a beautiful drive away. We stayed for 5 days and couldn't do everything. We listed our favorite places in the guest book. Captain Bob & Kim were so nice and were there for you any time. We highly recommend this place any time of the year. We hope to come back again! Thank you for the best birthday weekend ever!!

Amazing hosts and property!

We stayed for 5 nights while getting ready to race IM 70.3 Michigan. The hosts were so accommodating, letting me use their garage for my bike, and providing everything we needed for our family members to join us in our stay. The property has literally everything you could want, all the amenities to eat, cook, shower, wash laundry, etc. It truly was an above and beyond property and there was nothing lacking that we needed to enjoy our stay. I definitely recommend this property if you prefer to cook at home while traveling, as well as have a private location that's quiet and private. The bonus is being able to launder your clothes at the end of your stay. The hosts were kind and checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed!

Annual Bear Lake Family Vacation

This was an amazing place that exceeded our family needs. It was extremely clean, comfortable and modernly decorated. Bob was professionally & friendly and took appropriate measures to make sure our needs/concerns were met. Plenty of space for our family of 4, and conveniently located for daily excursions. We definitely will consider staying here again or recommend this location.

Bear Lake Getaway

What a great getaway! We could not have asked for a better more accommodating host. Captain Bob made sure we had everything imaginable. He took us out and got us set up on the river a couple days and made sure we were knowledgeable about the area. The house was stocked with everything we needed and very clean and plenty of room to spread out and relax. Canā€™t wait to go back!

Snowmobile trip

The property was clean and included everything we needed. We were close to the snowmobile trails and local restaurants. The owner was very helpful providing information we needed and also spent a whole day of his time showing us around the local trails. It was a great stay for us and we would definitely return.
