You will love your stay at this beautiful lakefront property in Texas Hill Country. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home has a living area, dining area and a large game room with a pool table and one set of bunk beds. This property offers a gated front yard and driveway, a huge backyard with a gentle slope to the lake and access to a pond for fishing. Three backyard decks offer wonderful views of the lake and the stars.

The space
We have always dreamed of owning a house on Canyon Lake. When that dream came true, we decided to share it with the world.

We love the decks in the back of the house. There are two covered decks, one off the downstairs living room and the other off of the master bedroom. The third is an uncovered deck off the upstairs game room. All the decks are well furnished; tables, couches, chaise lounges for your enjoyment. They offer a full view of the huge backyard and the lake. The song is true that the stars at night are big and bright!

The backyard is wonderful. There are many deer in the neighborhood that visit the yard in the mornings and evenings. We have deer corn available for you to feed them! As you walk to the lake you will pass the outdoor firepit and fully stocked wood pile. The walk is a gentle slope ending at a shallow entrance to the lake. This is a great place for swimming and floating. Rent a boat or jet skis on the lake at one of the nearby marinas or bring your own, then beach it or anchor right off the house for easy access.s

The upstairs game room is where we spend our time when we are not in the backyard. A large sectional couch looks onto the 50” tv with satellite and Netflix. The room also has a pool table and access to one of the decks overlooking the lake. What’s not to love?

Amenities:
Basic appointed kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, blender and basic utensils and kitchen gadgets.

The living room, game room and two bedrooms have tvs with satellite and Netflix. Ample closet and dresser space in the rooms. The game room contains a bunk bed that has a single on top and double on the bottom. Kid friendly with crib, toddler bed, pack and play, and high chair available.

Outdoor games and water toys including tubes for your enjoyment.

We had a great week at Canton Lake. The home is on an amazing piece of land with a huge fire pit. Feeding the deer was a highlight of our time there. At one point we counted 4 8-point bucks in the backyard at one time. We rented a boat at the marina, floated the river, and fished. It was a very relaxing week to get away from it all.Communication with the owner was excellent.

The hosts were great with communication. The house was nice for our family of five. Plenty of space. We enjoyed the back porch and feeding all the deer. The location was okay, we didn’t realize how far from New Braunfels it would be. The only issues we had were: the house definitely smelled like dogs have been there., down stairs especially. I think it was listed as pet friendly, so that makes sense if so. But if you aren’t bringing a pet, beware it smells like others sure have. Another issue was the cleanliness of the floors. My kids were walking around barefoot and the bottoms of their feet were gross after a day of being inside the house (we were there on the rainiest week of the year so I know for sure they were inside the whole time). Lastly, the master bed was very uncomfortable. Other than that, everything else was good.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful vacation rental. The house is stunning and perfectly situated in a natural setting, making it an ideal place to relax and recharge. Watching them come by to be fed was such a unique and enjoyable experience, adding to the charm and serenity of the location.We also appreciated how pet-friendly the property is. Hill Country family break

Loved the property - spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Peaceful location with great views, and amazing to have deer feeding off the deck. Party of 8 inc 4 teenagers, everyone kept well entertained with the amenities in the house.

Awesome home on the lake!

Great family home, lots of room to spread out, fully stocked with anything you might need, several porches to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, short walk to the lake and the fishing pond. We played pool, fed the dear, fished, and relaxed! The location is great too! You're right in the middle of so many fun places, short drives to all the Hill Country destinations. The owners are easy to reach, they reply quickly and are so helpful. Love love loved this spot!

Memorial Day getaway

The property was nice. The cleanliness could have been better. There were crumbs on one of the trundle beds from a past guest. The carpet has a lot of stains. The location was great. The backyard was nice but could have been amazing if it was landscaped and the yard was mowed. We fed deer from the back porch which the kids loved.

Wonderful stay and very well equipped property

Choose this property for Thanksgiving gathering. My nephews and cousin were visiting from different states and had to choose a big dog friendly property equidistant from Austin and San Antonio. It was a perfect find . Very well appointed. Property owners have taken care of every little detail to make the stay for guests very comfortable. Very clean and well maintained. We grilled, we lit fire at night,cooked,played indoor games and pool. Our dog was comfortable. We had a lot of fun. Property owners were very prompt - they also helped us in extending our stay by an additional day .

Wonderful getaway

My family and I had a wonderful time at the house.. We saw and encountered many deers. Our children had a great time feeding them. The house was spotless and has many amenities. Kitchen was spacious and has everything we needed. The canyon lake is right in the backyard. We walked to the lake every day. It was very peaceful and soul searching. One of the best things about this property is the owners. They're extremely accommodating and responsive. We are already planning to come back. Thank you ! .

We enjoyed our stay so much! Having family in town for July 4th weekend, we decided to find something without allot of notice and stumbled across this great property. The house was huge and has everything you need. The fenced yard in front and huge yard in back was a bonus. We were close to the marina where we rented a pontoon boat. Had a great time; thank you!

Very great place to stay, we own a wake boat and still got to tie off without loading and unloading boat multiple times. Very nice house with plenty of room.

Beautiful property; lots of room

Had a great stay celebrating wife’s birthday and Father’s Day with another couple plus our family came over on Sunday for dinner. Great grounds right down to the lake! Lots of sweet deer & baby fawns that we fed daily. Bring salad veggies for a healthier snack. Wonderful decks with lots of good furniture. Guest BR mattress sunk in middle and there were no napkins or tissues; otherwise it was perfect! Thanks for a great time!

Canyon Lake

Rented this property for Mother’s Day weekend. We spent most of our time outside. There was a trail to the lake and a pond with a paddle boat. We even got to feed the deer. It was a lovely home with wonderful amenities. I would stay here again.
