Perfect alternative to expensive hotel room without giving up luxury or location! Second floor with elevator, in a completely new building inside, but with original facade outside on popular Huertas street. The apartment is very close to the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia Museums and the Palacio Real. We are the in Historic Center of Madrid, the famous Barrio de las Letras. The apartment has a very comfortable queen-size bed, and two very nice sofas in the living area. With two big windows to a quiet and airy interior courtyard and smack dab in the middle of all the happening places.

The apartment is right next to Plaza de Santa Ana. About 10 min walking to Puerta del Sol and The Plaza Mayor. You can walk to All the major attractions. You are going to love the apartment and our location.

Good location, especially enjoyed the nearby plaza and restaurants in the area. The unit was fine, everything worked. Adjusting to people outside talking loudly late in the evening was a little rough, but noone was angry and I am sure we went to bed many hours earlier than is common here. Easy walking to the museums we really wanted to visit.

This was a perfect location, in a safe space in the city center. The host thought of everything that we could possibly need and then some! This apartment is close to the action and is very walkable. It's also an easy walk to the Metro. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Great location with a lot of space!

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It had plenty of room, all the amenities you could need and very good security. Would definitely recommend this location.

The location was the best we could have had for our stay in Madrid. There are restaurants and shops everywhere, and we were able to walk to most sites easily. The apartment is a studio, just one long room but it was very functional for us. Two things to know: there is a washer but no dryer and the shower was slow in draining. The host said they would address the drainage issue.

Terrific stay!!

Great property located in a super location. The owner Gorete was awesome!!! Bed was very comfortable, lots of hot water and great shower pressure. Apartment was very clean and well set up. The location was super for getting to all the sites. We loved our stay!

Best location in the city

Very attractive and efficient apartment for a couple. The Calle Huerta and Plaza Santa Ana are filled with great restaurants and bars. The location is a reasonable walk to the Prado and Reina Sofia in one direction and the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and the Royal Palace in the other.

Great apartment

This apartment is perfectly located—right in the middle of everything and on a quiet street. Apartment was perfect for our week stay in Madrid. Communication with the owner was fantastic. She also supplied helpful information on restaurants, shops in the neighborhood as well as popular tourist attractions.

Lovely apartment in a superb location

The apartment is set up perfectly for two people, the location is excellent. It is possible to walk anywhere in central Madrid but is also close to a number of Metro stations. The street itself has lots of bars and restaurants. Will definitely return

The apartment was really cute, but much smaller than anticipated. It is within walking distance to most of the good museums. Restaurants and bars are everywhere so you won’t go hungry. Good Wi-Fi. Kitchen is well stocked but we only used it to make coffee. Good for a short stay.

Perfect apartment close to everything!

What a great apartment. Modern studio type but designed in such a way you feel like a one bedroom. Lighting was challenging but wow kitchen was awesome. Elevator big deal for us with mobility issues oh and way too much luggage. Very nice place! Walking distance to a lot tapas restaurants, metro, walking distance to shopping high end as well as local treasures.

Fantastic!

I had an amazing stay at Gorete’s apartment. It is a quiet, courtyard facing apartment on the 2nd floor (European). It is nicely furnished, has a comfortable bed, A/C, very well stocked kitchen, and great shower. You will also find shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, etc. There are plenty of outlets, and Gorete even supplied adapters. She really has put a lot of thought and effort into making this a home away from home. Communication was met with prompt responses. Gorete was very easy to work with, and accommodating. I would highly recommend this apartment, and would love to stay there again.

Convenient to everything we wanted to see

The apartment couldn't have been located in a better spot. We were a short walk from the Metro stop and 5 minutes from many great restaurants, bars, Plazas and markets. Our host did an excellent job of preparing information about the area with lots of suggestions. Communication was exceptional, which is always important to us when visiting in a new country/city. We were greeted on time and our host also arranged to have someone meet us upon leaving so we could stow our luggage and spend a few extra hours in Madrid before heading to the train. Thank you! The apartment itself was a comfortable studio with everything the two of us needed for a 3-night stay in the city. Thoughtful host, clean and efficient studio, great communication and a wonderful location! Everything you could ask for.

practically perfect in every way

If you want to feel like you're staying in the real auténtico Madrid, stay here. It's in an old neighborhood on a wonderful quiet street and is within easy walking distance from Sol, the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, and both the Prado and the Thyssen art museums.. Even Retiro Park was only a 15 minute walk.There are dozens of restaurants, tabernas, bars, etc., within a 5 minute walk. Best paella we (I was visiting my daughter) had was right across the street at the Arco Pinoy. Maybe the best sangría as well. If you're not a walker, the metro system is very good and will get you close to almost anything. The apartment itself was perfect for 1 or 2 people. Clean, comfortable, lots of necessities like soap, shampoo, detergent, coffee, etc., were supplied. Kitchen very well equipped, but don't eat dinner in the apartment! Go out every night! Check in and checkout were a breeze. You would love staying here.

Great Location!

Wife and I stayed here for a week in August 2022. We were very impressed with how clean this studio apartment was. The apartment is very secure, there is a keyed iron gate street side with another heavy duty wood door before entering the actual building. The door to the apartment itself has a very secure deadbolt. The location is amazing. You are right in the middle of everything. Multiple restaurants, side walk cafes and stores are within minutes. The Prado is a 10 minute walk. Communication with owner and check in very professional and well handled. Shoutout to a couple of places we enjoyed. Brown Bear Bakery on Calle Leon, We got there coffee Americano, pastry, and fresh fruit cup for breakfast just about every day Alimentacion Quiroga ( just down the street) hopping place with great platters, wine and beer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Madrid and I think a large part of it was the easy access to so many different aspects of the city
