Oceanfront Studio - Oceanfront Balcony!

This is a great unit for a relaxing and romantic couple's vacation where you can enjoy spending time on beautifully maintained Virginia Beach. You will also have access to multiple swimming pools during your stay.

After a day relaxing on the beach or poolside, explore the many restaurant choices, then enjoy the nightlife and live music found all along the 3 mile Boardwalk, Marina, and surrounding areas.

THE SPACE

This Large Oceanfront Studio offers a King size bed, large Garden tub, bathroom, and Oceanfront Balcony directly overlooking the Boardwalk, Beach, and Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the spectacular views while drinking your coffee in the morning or enjoying a beverage of choice in the evening.

*** This unit is rated to sleep 2 persons, but 3 persons is possible. The Front Desk will provide a rollaway bed for the 3rd person if needed.

This unit has a Kitchenette that includes a Sink, Microwave, smaller Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, etc and glasses, plates, and utensils. You can prepare light meals or sandwiches, store and heat up leftovers using the microwave, etc, but there is no stove top or oven.

Beach Quarters is located on the south end of the 3 mile beachfront boardwalk. Easy direct access to the Beach and Boardwalk. Relax and soak up the sun while lounging at the oceanfront rooftop swimming pool and bar on the 7th floor. Guests can also access an indoor pool, a very well equipped fitness center, sauna, and a tennis and shuffleboard court.

Another nice bonus is that the guests at Beach Quarters can also use the outstanding outdoor pools and facilities at Turtle Cay Resort directly across the street. Beach Quarters and Turtle Cay are "sister" properties that share pools and amenities for guests staying at either resort. So you have plenty of swimming and lounging options between the Beach and the multiple pools at Beach Quarters and Turtle Cay.

There are some excellent dining options within a short walking distance from your unit, including the very highly rated Waterman's Surfside Grille located next door to the property. Or if you want something more casual Roma's New York Style Pizza and Italian is directly across the street located in the Ocean Key Resort building. There are also a number of additional restaurants nearby or located at the Marina / Rudee's Inlet.
During the evenings at or near many restaurants along the boardwalk and surrounding areas you can enjoy live music from various artists and performers.

GUEST ACCESS & CHECK IN

Your unit is private, but since this is a Resort Hotel property, amenities will be shared with other Guests (Pools, Hot Tub, Roof Deck, etc)

The Front Desk is staffed 24hrs a day. You will check in with them. They will provide your room keys and be available to assist with any issues or questions during your stay.

Guest checking in at Front Desk must be 21 years of age or older with a valid photo ID. Your Credit Card will be charged with a temporary hold amount of $1 to $100, and this amount will be fully refunded at checkout (minus any charges you may have made to your room).

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.

- Beach Quarters is professionally managed and operated by Diamond Resorts. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance during your stay.

- You are guaranteed an OCEANFRONT view King Studio/1BA (sleeps 2 or 3) with a balcony, just as depicted in the photos. However your specific unit location (High or Low floor, etc) will be determined / finalized at Check In.

- For this specific Reservation there will be an additional Resort amenities fee of $14.95 per day (Approximately $105.00 additional for the week). This fee will be paid by the Guest directly to the Front Desk.

- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk.

- Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket. Also if you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed.

- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if your family owns and likes the larger beach towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other beach blankets / chairs / umbrellas / equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc you can rent them on the beach out in front of the facility.

- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However, the Front Desk can provide a vacuum, or broom and dustpan, to use in your unit if you wanted it. Washers and Dryers are also available (at no additional charge) on alternating floors for guests to use if desired. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the Front Desk.

- For trash disposal during your stay, there are trash chutes on every floor located next to the elevator banks. Just open the door and drop your trash bag down the chute. If you need more trash bags you can request those as well from the Front Desk.

- One free parking space is provided per unit rental. Additional parking spots are available for an additional fee paid directly at the Front Desk. If you have a large SUV, the turns in the parking garage can be very tight, so there is an alternate parking lot across the street from the facility provided for large vehicles if preferred, and I strongly recommend it.

- As already mentioned in the listing, Beach Quarters and Turtle Cay are “sister” properties and share amenities. That means you can use the pools and amenities at both properties.

- If you or any members of your family enjoys bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). Virginia Beach was designed with a special bike path along the Boardwalk to cater to bike riders. It's possible to use bikes as your main means of transportation during the week to travel up and down the Boardwalk, and around town. Remember to take your bike locks so you can lock up your bikes at the bike rack each night.

- There is a Virginia Beach Coupon booklet available pretty much everywhere in vending type machines along Atlantic Ave, including the Front Desk / Lobby at pretty much all the properties in VB. Here you can find some coupons that offer decent discounts on food, entertainment, and equipment purchases (like bike rentals if you are not able to bring your own).

- Please note that most rentals offered (with some exceptions) have a one week (7 Night) minimum stay with Check-Ins and Check-Outs always on Saturday only

- Once reservations are confirmed, you will be asked for the name and address of the main guest who will check in (the resort's Front Desk will also ask for this information when you check in, but obtaining this information beforehand will expedite the check in process) along with an email address to receive a personal confirmation.

- This is a timeshare resort but attending a presentation or taking a tour is NEVER required.

ADDITIONAL 2020 COVID-19 STIPULATIONS:

- Due to the unique circumstances this year the unit is discounted, and payment terms have been adjusted to provide maximum flexibility and protection to the Renter.

- If the resort was closed, meaning unit is not available for occupancy, Renter would receive a 100% refund of any payments made, no questions asked.

- Although it can be assumed the resort will be open there is no guarantee that every single dining / entertainment option in Virginia Beach and / or surrounding areas would be available and operating like normal due to any social distancing guidelines that may (or may not) be put in place. Activities and establishments will continue to re-open at the pace the Governor of Virginia allows.

- In the State of Virginia Masks are required INSIDE all public buildings and spaces and public transportation except when eating, drinking, or exercising. This applies to everyone ages 10 and up. Mask usage is recommended outside if in large crowds where social distancing is not possible.

- It should be noted that the same is largely true to some extent or another everywhere on the East Coast this summer (not just the Virginia Beach area). However Owner has provided a discounted nightly rate to compensate the Renter in advance for any potential impacts of this.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The Virginia Beach Boardwalk and surrounding area is unique among East Coast beach locations because it has many Oceanfront, Oceanside, Marina, and Bay dining choices, including many with outdoor seating. There is also live music venues all along the boardwalk in the evenings.

GETTING AROUND

If you like to ride bikes, you can park your car and almost not need it for the week as it is easy to travel the boardwalk on your bike. If you don't bring your own there are bike rental stations up and down the boardwalk, including one outside Beach Quarters.

There is a Virginia Beach trolley that runs up and down Atlantic Boulevard from 40th street down to the Marina below 5th street. This is also an effective way to travel up and down Atlantic Boulevard not needing a car.
