Garden view (partial ocean view), 2 bedroom condos and studios are also available, as are the other Shell Vacation Club associated properties on Kauai: The Cliffs and the Lawai Beach Resort. The resort will require a credit card on check-in and will charge a resort fee (usually around $20 daily for the room).

There is a lovely walkway along the beach there. The beach is narrow, but sandy, with a rocky ledge for tidepools. We have snorkelled right off the beach, which is protected from the waves by an outer reef. You can walk to the Lava Lava Beach Club and sit with your feet in the sand for breakfast or other meals. The other hotels along the walkway also have bars and restaurants. The Coconut Marketplace is right next door for shopping.
