You will have complete run of this cottage which sits about 6 feet away from the larger home that we live in. There is a grassy lawn and patio between the cottage and cliff side fence for shared enjoyment by your hosts and other guests which may also be staying on the property. Inside you will find this to be a well stocked unit with ROKU TV, Netflix, etc. All furnishings and supplies are of good quality.



Look up the Mattress you will be sleeping on: Amazon - Zinus Memory Foam 12 Inch Green Tea Mattress, Queen.



Living room sofa contains a COMFORTABLE pull out queen bed. We have modified the pull out sofa to give it the needed support and comfort you would expect from a standard bed.



Kitchen has Pots, Pans, Sinks, 4 burner stove plus oven, Microwave Oven, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Grinder and ORGANIC Coffee, Full Size Refrigerator, Plates, Glasses, Bowls and more; it is setup with all that you will need for cooking good quality meals.

About our Authentic Home Made India Food - Of course it is delicious. We use pesticide free and organic ingredients to the extent that is possible. We do serve food most nights with advanced notice, frequently we can serve you on short notice, and sometimes things come up and we just cannot provide food service, even if you have arranged it in advance. So please understand, we will do our best to honor our commitment to serve food but there are no guarantees. Ask for our menu. This is an add on charge.

The Neighborhood:

What is special about our neighborhood is that it is in a semi-rural big land suburban area of Anacortes. It is generally quite here (except for moderate roadside traffic that is only noticeable if you focus on it). The best thing I have to say about this area is you can spend months here exploring all the amazing beaches and natural beauty. This property is cliff side but without direct beach access.



CAUTION: If you come with little ones, they should be well behaved enough not to climb on the picket fence that leads to the blackberry bushes that line cliffs.



Getting Around:

You pretty much need a car to go out and explore, yet there is a nice rural-suburban walk along a dirt road on the north side of Lake Erie (without lake access, only private homes)

DOGS ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES



ROAD NOISE: We do have some road noise. MOST guests barely notice it. SOME guests do have issues with it. If you are highly sensitive to noise or can't stop focusing on it, then this is not the place for you. We live here and rarely notice it. It is the worst when standing outside in the drive way and trying to have a conversation. But inside of the units, out back enjoying the amazing views, which is where most people spend most of their time, most people don't even notice it. It is barely audible.
