Hi Eric, sorry for late reply I just had chance to translate this review to English. Yes. You asked for docking your boat in six months ago when you were making this booking, at time water level was high, but it changed to low when you were arriving. Its hard for us to predict the water level, it chances every few days. if you could call us before your arrival, it will have a better understanding. The cobwebs, yes, for the house by the water, it comes in every two to three days especially in the summer. I am now make sure the cleaner will come to house to clean it right before guest arrival. This luxury house come with air exchange system, and every room has a vent including the washroom, it will get polluted air to be exhausted from the house and bring fresh air into every room, it is not functioned by traditional fan. All dishes were washed by dishwasher before guest arrival, you don’t need to wash it again, if you dish soap was not enough, you should let me know, since we had few telephone conversations during your stay, then I can ask cleaner to deliver it to you. I believe the docking matter brought you a bad mood, and your wrote this review is not quite fair to me. I feel sorry about this. Anyways, I am willing to pay you back the marina fees. Thankyou Caitlyn it was an absolute pleasure to have you and your friends stay at Home of 1000 islands and it was unfortunate about the gnats, I believe it was caused by both patio and screen door were opened at same time and it covered by the curtain, and it was hard to recognize this opening, that’s how the gnats came into the room. We feel sorry to the gnats, on next day, we gave you canoe for free it was our compensation to the gnats, we didn’t charge this to you. We never recommended our canoe to guest due to our canoe is for owner own use. I'm glad you enjoyed the canoes and my apologies if you thought you were charged for them I assure you weren't.
