Welcome to Cowboy Bunkhouse #1, a charming retreat in the scenic Southfork valley where wide-open skies and mountain views set the tone for a relaxing Wyoming stay. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and frequent wildlife sightings, this cozy bunkhouse offers the peaceful feel of country living while still being just a short drive from the shops, restaurants, and attractions of downtown Cody or taking day trips to explore Yellowstone.
Inside, the bunkhouse has been thoughtfully renovated with rustic Western character and modern comforts. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals, and the comfortable living area features a smart TV so you can access your favorite streaming services after a day of exploring. A mini-split air conditioning system helps keep the space comfortable in warmer months. The bedroom includes a queen bed and a twin daybed with a twin trundle, making it a flexible option for families or small groups. Additional sleeping space is available with a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The home also features a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Step outside to take in sweeping mountain views from the front porch or enjoy cooking dinner on the outdoor grill. Cowboy Bunkhouse #1 is one side of a duplex and can be rented together with the neighboring unit for larger groups traveling together. Located just 10 minutes from historic Cody, you will be close to local favorites including restaurants, art galleries, shops, the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Cowboy Bunkhouse #1 is a comfortable and convenient home base for your Wyoming adventure.

Cowboy Bunkhouse #1 can be rented together with Cowboy Bunkhouse #2 for larger groups.

Amazing Stay!!

This property is beautiful and a short 1 hour drive from East entrance of Yellowstone. The space inside is cozy and quaint and has all amenities listed. Such a fun cabin vibe and had great communication with owner as well. Will be staying here again and bringing more people!!

Weekend getaway

This little cabin was perfect for what we needed. I loved the views of the mountains and it was very clean. The bed was a little firm for my liking and you can hear the people slamming doors in the cabin next to us but all and all is was a very good place to stay.

Great place. A little tight for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. But it worked. Kids loved the visits from the dog and getting to pet the horses.

Perfect little bunkhouse

This lil bunkhouse was adorable! It was the perfect size for my family. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the Cody Company Coffee that was left for us! The house was clean and had cute decor. The price was perfect! My daughter even befriended the neighbor’s grand daughter. We would definitely come back and rent this again. !

The place was comfortable and relaxing. The heating setup was different, because we had to use it when we first arrived and at night. It basically just heated the bedroom and not the front room and kitchen area. Other than that it was great. I would stay there again

Cozy and relaxing!

We loved our stay in the bunkhouse. It was clean and so cozy. It had everything we needed. The views of the mountains we gorgeous and ideal for having morning coffee on the porch. The location was quiet yet just a short 10 minute drive to town. The museums and attractions in Cody are amazing and rich in history. We also drove up to Yellowstone which was about 40 minutes to the east entrance and we stopped at the buffalo bill damn on the way. If you have never been to Cody you will love it and definitely not run out of things to do and explore! The bunkhouse is the perfect place if you're planning a trip to the area.

The perfect cabin!

This cabin/bunkhouse is perfect. My mother and I love the view while having coffee on the front porch every morning. Sunsets were breathtaking. Location is everything here and here you have it. Inside the cabin is very comfortable. Plenty of seating. Kitchen is just big enough to get the job done. We used the heck out of the crockpot. It cooked while we enjoyed Yellowstone and Cody. I was really worried about the beds firmness but I shouldn't have been. Slept well every night. Those beds get rating of 5 stars. Price was what caught my eye on this property. Incredibly affordable and that allowed us to enjoy our trip few extra days. We will definitely stay here again.

Our stay was extended due to Yellowstone Park's shutdown, and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Everything was as described, and the view was worth the extra days! The property manager was very accommodating when we had to extend our stay, and we were very pleased overall!

Cute bunkhouse

The bunkhouse was cute, clean, and had what we needed for our stay. Just outside of town and quiet location. Would have liked a handle on both sides of the door that separated the beds from the living room, but that isn't a complaint, it didn't take away from our time there. If you stay here, go to the Cody Cattle Company for the dinner and show, and rodeo after! It was a highlight of our trip!

Quiet, private, relaxation.

We enjoyed a glass of wine and our coffee with the Lovely view of the mountains off the front porch. Accommodations were more than we expected for a "bunkhouse cabin" so we were pleasantly surprised with everything: spaciousness, equipped with kitchen and grill, and heat and fans made for a comfortable stay. I would suggest not using the flannel /microfiber sheets. They cling to you when you move and it seemed hard to keep them in place. A smooth cotton or bamboo would be better, but the bed was very comfy with extra blankets provided and a thick comforter we didn't even need. Weather was exceptional during our stay.
